“All you need to do is buy a second AMS…” well duh. Then you have 8 colors to play with automatically.
You can only have 1 AMS lite and he was using an A1 mini which can only have 1
You can still print with 5 with 1 ams I've printed with 7 with only 1 ams, it's a little babysitting but it's easy

@@SinanAkkoyun just map the 5 colours out. Put the 5th colour in the ams in the second slot after it's finished the 4th colour it will select slot 2 again for the 5th colour. If it needs to go around again then all you need to do is change slot 2 every time.

Cant do 2 ams lite units
I feel like you can do it if the model is changing colors higher it goes up imagine if you will a character wearing orange and white shoes blue pants and a red shirt but by the time it pans into the jeans you could pull out the blue filament swap with skin color and swap orange with black. Then you could add brown in place of red when the model gets past the shirt and add brown hair to the model.
I do believe you're correct. But I'd have to look into this. If you want the printer to do all the work you will need 2 AMS units.
I thought the A1 and A1 mini cannot use a second ams since it doesn't support 2. I know it has 2 plug in's but only one works. Tell me if I'm wrong I want to know
Correct you can only use 1 AMS lite. But the p series and x series that use the AMS can have multiple connected (up to 4)
All you do it put a pause in the slider once you've used 1 colour swap it to your other colour. Then once it's used that just swap it back. It's simple

No, unfortunately you can only use one AMS lite with the A1 series of printers.

You are correct. No dual AMS lites on the A1 series.

You replace the filament buffer with a filament hub and then daisy chain the ams cables. Pretty straight forward.
