Merci for this. I will no longer use the excuse for saying it's out of my pay grade. You have a great gift of showing how to make music and not just playing the piano.
Omg, why wasn't there this channel 40 years ago 😌, this would saved me from personal teacher, which barely knew so much from music what you already have forgotten
Excellent. Thanks Jason. If you had one more chord in (I'm thinking 1-3-6-2-5-1), it will automatically flip from arpeggio to block after each round of the progression. Really appreciate the good info. Thank you! 🙏
This was awesome, I thought I knew my inversion until this tutorial! I found that I was good on some scales but bad on other scales. Thanks some much for this lesson. I can hear the sound of the chords connecting better! You’re the best🤩💜❤️
Glad it helped Joyce! Inversions are very important. Perhaps this playlist might be an additional resource: th-cam.com/play/PLrNNL05e9FT9ygtrGwGFmfyvMyGWH52EC.html

Topic: staccato and legato. (Chapter- Arpeggios & Block Chords) Hi sir! I have important questions for me. In which place in arpeggios (one and two and three and four and) do you hold pedal ? I know , that in blocks ( one two three four) you use pedal on place "four". (At least I guess that you use). But in arpeggio I coudn't find it out.
Hi Maria. Yes! I use the pedal at beat 4 of the bar. But with Arpeggios, usually when the Bass note changes in the Left hand, I lift the pedal! Watch this lesson on how to use the Sustain Pedal: th-cam.com/video/dTK26bDdAGc/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for this exercise. I also think that one of the most important things is to know and be able to do the chords and chords. Of course, you also have to know how to practice such things without getting bored. That's why I think it's always good that you also show how to practice it. So far I haven't found a second teacher who can explain it in such detail as you that even the dumbest person can understand. Thank you very much, God bless you.

Unfortunately, this is just another Rote exercise. It does NOT teach a student how to play different chords in one position. You just taught a static chord progression with given fingerings. I would like to see you teach someone to pull chords out of their imagination or to read a Lead Sheet and make it smooth harmonically. That would be an inversion MASTER. Good luck!
