How insightful. I think the world needs to remember that people in adult industries are still people. They’ve had a childhood, they’ve had relationships, feelings, desires. This really showed that. I love how raw and human this is. I love understanding other perspectives
I find it baffling that someone who would not be comfortable with their partner being fucked by random strangers everyday is labelled as insecure. It's got nothing to do with being insecure, it's completely understandable not to want different people sleeping with your partner

It’s so powerful that sexual abuse has longer lasting psychological and emotional effects than physical. What a diverse group. Really enjoyed this discussion. Made me think about my own preconceived ideas about sex workers. Traditionally sex workers were seen as vulnerable or troubled and victims, this is outdated thinking as this group show very clearly. Not saying that doesn't apply to some people! Just not these people. They all seem comfortable and confident and in control of their careers. Very interesting.

Yeah, but it's also a bit of a self-selecting bias going on here. I live next to the red-light district in the capital of a European country where prostitution is legal, and the sex workers are nothing like these in the video by large. There are different categories of sex workers, of course, but those working the street, are almost always part of vulnerable groups (such as migrant women or people struggling with drug addiction) and you would never see them in these discussion rounds.
Many respects it is still the case.

But i do stand by the fact that the sex worker industry has changed and attracts people from all walks of life now rather than it solely being people who are being taken advantage of in some way.
I don't see the problem as long as it's consensual from all parties involved (and of legal age). I live in Sweden where it's illegal to buy. The Swedish model assumes a woman selling sex has been coerced or is trafficked so legally speaking it's impossible to sell sex volunarily. However crossing the border into Denmark it's completely legal as long as you're 18+ and not trafficked. So naturally lots of Swedish people visit Denmark because it's a beautiful country. They have Legoland and stuff.
Traditionally sex was trade very early on and powerful without judgement. If we go all the way back in some tribes women were the shamanic healers who offered their services and were seen as priestess. It’s only when religion sought to take away the power implored through sex did it become shameful. I believe wholeheartedly that the judgements created have made it so the boundaries keep being pushed when actually sex used to be sacred and spiritual, no matter how many partners one had.

many people who work in the sex industry sadly damage their personal sex life for ever , but at the end end of the day we have to accept that we are all humans not just object´s ... there is a big philosphical debate about all of that and its a interesting topic that society should talk about ...
Working with something means you may be less interested in it personally. Like chefs buying takeways, cleaners not doing their chores at home or food processing people dislike whatever they work with. OTOH, they get experience. But working with sex means you can get lonelier off-work, and that's just a draw-back that some people are willing to accept. But poly people and SWers marrying another one from the industry is all too common. In porn, this seems to count for like half the population.
Really interesting! I work in the sex industry but as a photoshop retoucher so it's quite different... it's nice to watch interviews like this! Also the last thing they talked about is very important. I've seen many times models asking us to be removed from our websites because their family saw the content and it didn't go well... My bosses are nice people and they always remove it even if they are not obligated too, but I guess many owners of adult content wouldn't say agree to. And anyway, once you are on the internet, it can spreads on many MANY websites...

Sex work - if that's your passion, absolutely be honest and go for it, but don't give us this shit about relationship partners not being open enough or insecure. You're asking someone to give any sense of intimacy away because you've put something ahead of your partner - I'm sure you'd let the partner know in advance, but at least recognise how much you're asking of the other person.

I have to say that as someone who was raised in a traditional, Christian home but has since become a more progressive, non-Trumpist Christian. This was really interesting to watch, simply to understand the lives of people that I have never encountered before. I will be honest and say that I still disagree with the idea of doing this but it was interesting to learn that there are sex workers out there who actually love what they do! The way it was presented to me when I was growing up was that it was people being taken advantage of and people who didn't have a choice but to do it to be able to survive but watching this showed me that that wasn't true. I have to say that this was a really fascinating video and it made me subscribe to the channel to learn more about things that were lacking in my education growing up!

Wrong, people who love you unconditionally can and often times do judge, as they want what's the best for you and, if your not on that path, they will critique your choices in life in a heartbeat (aka judging).
Plus judging is a natural human instinct: you can't truly help it. If you judge in your subconscious, guess what? You still judges.
Note: this is not pointed toward the choices of the women in this video it's a general rule.
People who love yopu unconditionally look out for your best interests and can often judge a situation they believe may not be good for you. It sounds like you are trying to say that the only way someone can actually love you unconditionally would be for them to shut up if you don't like their opinion.
People who don’t love you will agree with everything you do. People who do love you will set your right and judge what needs to be judged. You will never be a better person with a bunch of “yes people” around you.

Here I was looking on TH-cam for the dark side of sex work and some “how to ward people away” from this line of work material - but stumble upon this bunch just having a jolly time with it and enjoying their life
I talk to sex workers every week on my podcast and overall, most of them LOVE THEIR JOB! So much so that they also love helping other cam girls, its a pretty amazing community 😀
Do you talk to many who have left the industry? Was in it for 17 years been out for a year but been working my way out of it for a few years. Could probably give you a perspective of the mental anguish that comes when you choose to take that mask off.
Yeah I'm guessing the ones who've been trafficked into sex work, are being abused and coerced or have been turned into drug addicts by their pimps probably aren't in a position to reach out and do podcasts. There's a very strong selection bias going on here.

I work in health care specifically for adults with minor learning difficulties . So many of my patients would like to experience a sexual encounter . I can't arrange anything because I would be considered a pimp ! I truly wish I could set up some sort of service for them 😶 Isn't it natural to want that encounter / it's perfectly normal to want that

I can’t see a problem with helping them find services for that part of their mental well-being! Having a functional sex life is a vital part of anyones mental health and there shouldn’t be any stigma attached to helping people with disabilities find those services if they want them 💜

I went to school on a street where the sex workers are, downtown of a major city, and when I tell people about them, they're floored.
Are there young pretty women? Of course. But two of the nicest sex workers - who helped me buy cigarettes - that I met was a black trans woman with a thick full beard along with her sparkly little dresses and red lipstick. Another was a white man in his 60-70s who wore floral print smocks and straw woven hats like a British grandma.
