"Everyone wears a mask, I just chose to create my own. Behind every mask, is another mask." Jhin, Aurelion Sol and Pantheon voice lines always get me. Kindred as well
I know it's unpopular opinion but I think Jhin is boring. I can't deny they did a banger job matching theme and gameplay feel, I respect that a lot... I just, the theme is not for me. Kindred goes hard though. Also I had an ARAM where Asol was on enemy team and my team had Dragon Tamer Heimer, whenever we're pushed off the wave and Asol puts E and stardusts all the minions, Heimer goes "Who's a good dragon? You're a good dragon!" or something to that effect. They really need to make enough dragon based champs to make a full team, I would crack up playing against that as DT Heimer 🤣
Jhin is probably one of my favorite champions lore-wise. He's obviously crazy and a murderous psychopath, but he only sees what he's doing as adding beauty to the world. Also, his voicelines are reminiscent of a goth theatre kid and I vibe with that.
I would suggest Aatrox and Pantheon for your next voicelines and lore, the 2 have an interesting contrast and some cool/tragic backstory to their characters. Their interactions with each other are cool too.
When animals go for the neck, it’s not necessarily for merciful reasons. It’s just the most efficient way to kill or incapacitate it’s prey. Some creatures eat their prey alive without doing that
24:49 Lions actually kill their prey before eating to avoid injury. Bears and baboons eat their prey alive. The screaming might even make them hungrier via classical conditioning. Many animals kill for fun, like cats, dogs, dolphins, children.
jhin is that character you expect from a high level crime show like criminal minds, he is a delight to hear in game regardless of how horrible he is, a good kind of villain
25:11 so I’m going to disagree a bit on the “inherent mercy” of the animal kingdom bit. A quick death for prey isn’t a moral choice for the predator, it’s a practical one. The longer the prey struggles, the higher the chance that the prey fights back and does damage to the predator. A quick kill means less energy is spent fighting, increasing the chance of survival. Jhin is one of my favorite characters in League because he throws the idea of good and evil for a loop. He certainly doesn’t see himself as evil. The whole idea of not knowing his backstory and why he does what he does is what makes him fascinating. And I agree that the Phantom of the Opera seems very appropriate for comparison.
Maybe inherent was wrong word and natural or unintentional would’ve been better but the sentiment is still the same. 🙃 Animals kill out of necessity not out of pleasure. They don’t relish the kill or kill for fun or because they were teased by the other lions growing up. They kill for food, for defense, survival.
I like the guy, he gives some reaction input during the watch and I just wanna say that.. whouw, your wife is just..such a good listen, she read the content and absorbed it and just listening to her at the end is so amazing, I came to love you guys when you started with warcraft3 (also as a ex-league player the kys at the end was a cherry on top hahahah)
Hey, just so you know, Dolphins, Orcas, Chimps and various species of birds too enjoy suffering, many of them torture out of fun (don’t even eat the prey after)
A lion or in my opinion any feline doesn't go for the throat or the back of the head for mercy, they do that to prevent the prey from lashing out at them, look at hyenas and wild dogs for example they mean.
Unfortunately riot has yet to give us any kind of origin for Jhin but since he’s stationed himself in zaun it is very possible for him to show up in arcane. Probably not in season 2 but maybe season 3. An interaction between him and jinx would be interesting.
I agree. If they’d want to set up Jhin’s involvement with Zaun, then they’d probably have to also introduce Zed and Shen as well, maybe even Akali. They could probably do the backstory AFTER they show up, which would define what connects all of them together and why (bonus points if it’s in shadow puppets).
@@jakubbarczyk4310 I agree, the mystery works well for him. We don't need to know why he is the way he is or what he looks like behind the mask, it's much creepier when the only thing we're told is that he's just an ordinary dude who went wrong somewhere and became one of Ionia's greatest monsters.
So Arcane is their only League related series planned so far? Feels like they could branch out if they wanted with so much content they have access to 😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames The only one that we know of for sure, but they mentioned that seasons after the second will most likely go outside of Piltover and Zaun, and that they are making deals with different studios to explore more animation and even live action content. We know nothing else about that, though.
Jhin is honestly my favorite character in League, both in the game and as a character, and both of those parts actually work together so well and make him really fun to play. His obsession with the number four is based on a few things. If I remember, four is said similarly to the Chinese or Japanese word for ‘death’ or something. Most music is in 4/4 time signature. His name Jhin is four letters long, and when traced on a keyboard, the line forms the number 4. In gameplay, he has four shots in his gun before he reloads, and his ultimate ability has four shots. His first ability is a grenade that bounces four times. His second ability marks targets for four seconds. His third places a trap that reveals enemies for four seconds when triggered. There’s probably more fours, but that’s all I can think of.
Jhin is honestly the best designed Champion in the game, he might not be the best ADC, but always going after the META is boring anyway, playing what champions you like and want to play is much better. I have to say, his lategame burst damage can be a little upsetting, (if you're not ready for it) but it's not like there is no reason for it ^^
@@umbral9911 I would say Jhin is pretty good for meta he's not a bad adc at all it's just that certain matchups suck with him. Jhin has the one of the best late games in the entire game. His 4th shot will kill anything less than a tank and despite what people say he's not that bad against tanks. Even though he has no dash his speed he gets from crits especially late game lets him dodge and catch up with things that a dash wouldn't such as a predator Singed.
Man is actually not the only animal that loves that. I recall a documentary about a chimpanzee named Passion who was the first chimpanzee serial killer witnessed by Jane Goodall.
Fun fact: strictly speaking mankind are not the only animals that enjoy torture and cruelty. Cats, dolphins, some breeds of otters, and honey badgers are some of the cruelest and meanest predators out there. They will happily toy with their prey for hours until they're ready to eat them, or in dolphins case, until they get bored or the prey dies 'accidently'.
The deformity it speaks of is actually a cannon mount on his shoulder (and his ultimate in the game). He can basically turn his pistol into a high caliber sniper by mounting it on a barrel and power amp that's fitted to his shoulder for long range artillery.
About Jhin - he is a very popular champion, not only his story and music theme (which you should listen to - the number 4 is connected to him and the music theme is divided into 4 acts - its interesting and really beautiful), but also his gameplay is really interesting. If you google his skins you can see he gets a lot of them and they are high quality - practically everyone has some skin for him, cuz those are really nice. I know he is a psychopath and serial killer, but I cant help it - I just love the voice - it feels so calming and powerful. What to do next? I would recommend maybe the first and only League of Legends duo - Rakan and Xayah. They released them together as a pair - duo botlane. Their story is really nice and I love the voice lines - especially Rakan, because he is really funny and hyped for everything - kinda typical man from women point of view :D Or I would recomment Braum - you have already seen the cinematic for him - Big guy who saved Poro (Heimers pet). I also love the voice, lines and story - but most importantly the music theme is really beautiful - one of my favourites.

As much I dislike League, I must admit, Jhin has to be one of the best characters ever created. Good design/thematic, best lore, best voice lines, amazing music design, good kit/abilities/gameplay. He has a special place in my heart. I love Jhin because of how twisted and disturbing he is. He's very mysterious, with no origin story, and is said to blend in with crowds because of how "generic" his real face is (he's never revealed his face but it's implied that only his victims get to see it before or after death). That makes his terrifying and intimidating. Every kill he makes, he sees it as a beautiful work of art (as perfectly shown in his cinematic teaser trailer). Props to the designer/creator of Jhin, he's made some great champions that are just as good as Jhin.
If I remember correctly (and I could totally be wrong), what influenced Jhin to start killing was seeing kindred (specifically lamb) deal a killing blow and thought it was the most beautiful and perfect thing he had ever seen.
The Act is the canvas, the Result of the Act is the paint. Fiddlesticks wants the victim to be afraid, to be terrorized and gain sustenance in the moment. Jhin hates 'Sticks because it MUST be the chase and the result of the chase and even after the tale of the chase and for the starter, the *orchestrater* of the chase to be renowned as the greatest artist of the "age", it's *all* performance and it must be regarded as in its entirety. Sticks just craves the fear as part of his power, Jhin needs the "approval" of others as any proof he exists at all, and then extends it even further into a "game".
Needing approval as proof of existence, love that line. Feels like a lot of people could relate to that, while thankfully most don’t go the crazy route Jhin does to get it. But imagine most people have felt the need for approval at some point in their lives
Have you guys listened to Jhin's theme? Since you've already watched Arcane- I'm a longtime League player, and throughout the whole first season, I heard traces of his theme. His _style._ You ever see that meme of the horned owl where its all normal, but then it hears something, and its ears pop up all like- *_ZOOP!_* ? Because it was like that, every time, throughout season one, for me. I've got this sneaking suspicion that Jhin'll make an appearance before the piltover arc ends. Either directly INSPIRED by all the... chaos, or drawn out of hiding, and given a muse, in all the chaotic goings on. Forced, by circumstance, by a real-life epic he's been watching unfold, to act. To create his masterpiece, before his beloved canvas is torn down, or something of the like. Whatever the reason, I know it's gonna be _good._
jhin see the world differently maybe because he is a "mad artist" he see so much color, and blood is colorful for him, thats why he really like killing ppl as an "art". thats why his cinematic trailer he turn ppl into "arts" you guys need to react to his voiceline in Dark cosmic skin too!
necrit didnt explain it because it is something people familiar with the champion are likely to recognize, but fyi, the 'deformity' on jhin's shoulder isnt a real deformity, but rather his sniper rifle strapped to his back which he hides beneath the cloak ^^ though he probably likes the asymmetry to the look anyway haha.
also while i think jhin is an incredibly designed character and his gameplay ties incredibly elegantly to the 'four' thematic, i do feel a little bit like he maybe could have been two characters.. the ocd four focused killer that fits his gameplay perfectly as well as a beauty and performance focused killer who uses a knife and other creative tools in combat. i just feel like the fantastic horrifying artistic serial killer is such a cool and awful idea but it feels a little silly that his 'art' is just him shooting a magic gun that does the art part for him. wheres the talent in that?!?? haha, but aside from that specific gripe, i still think he is a phenomenal character design and the gameplay matches the character shockingly well (albeit only half of the character)
Even when Riot was asked what lines were not added to the game, they received an answer and examples of what was not included. They sound quite creepy and do not fit the rating of the game: "Rivers swell in spring. Insects return after rain. A corpse is thrown ashore.", "My first performance. Lovers whisper in the dark. Remove husband.", "Tattoo in the form of a black flower. The courtesan draws red lips. I extract her jaw."
Don't know if there's any official place to submit requests or anything like that, but I'd like to see your reactions to the Playstation All Starts Battle Royale rival cutscenes
I hope you get to do Aatrox! he is one of the most badass champs i'm sure u'll love him and the voicelines. Another cool ones are Aurelion Sol, Pantheon and my boy Fiddlesticks c': Edit: u already did Fiddlesticks nvm xd Edit2: fun detail for you: as u have seen, everything surounding him is related to his obssesion with the number four. His name is 4 letter J-H-I-N. In game his Q(bouncing granade) can bounce on upto 4 targets, his W marks an enemy for 4 seconds, his traps (E) reveal a target for 4 seconds, his ultimate (R: courtain's call) gives him 4 shots to fire.
Jhin is a serial killer, and a sociopath. In the cinematic for "Awaken" we see Camille hunting down Jhin to an abandoned theatre, and she is a Piltover enforcer, so people were speculating that we might see Camille and/or Jhin in season 2 of Arcane, but I doubt we will also, Jhin's gun in game is named "Whisper" and he has a line that is something like "yes, the name is ironic" because the gun is very loud
Riot games are currently makinh a fighting game currently titled project L, they've released some video diaries for it, could be a good thing to react to for fight night fridays
If u didnt watch it, i recommend you the Theme of Jhin also, its very unique. Other than that i recommend u these Voicelines Video (also from "anothernobody") Kindred the eternal Hunter (The Grim reaper of Runeterra) Aatrox (A trancended Being, priosend in his Sword) Pantheon (a human Warrior, once poscessed by aspect of War) Yorick (A cursed man holding on thinnest fade of life to fight the black mist)
LEAGUE IS BACK!! im pretty sure i have suggested this before but you should defenitly listen to the Legends of bilgewater, they are so interesting and sometimes a bit dark, its pretty sick!
You have to do a reaction to Aatrox in this format! The guy is a fucking beast and his lore and voicelines are popping. Especially if you watch from the same 2 channels you watched here.
Aatrox is definitely one of the biggest and best ones to listen too, but I also want to throw in Swain into the running, just one of the most interesting characters that Riot's ever made.
He got some phrases svout him being a slave of this compulsion that are kind of sad. Jhin is masterly crafted champ, in game and in lore and his play style matches completely. Some of the phrases he used here are taunts to other champions, like the fat one, who is a shot to Tham Kench, a fat catfish looking demon.
Please react to Aatrox's lore, and voice line (both old and new) next. Why I recommend both old and new voices is because of how different the two of them are, and it's interesting to see how Riot changed him from release to the present. EDIT: It would be nice if the uploader indicated who's champ Jhin is talking to on some of the voice lines clip. Like the "You have too many lines", he's talking to Tham Kench there. He said that because Tham used to be the champ that had the most voice lines.
If you wanted a longer video about League, then T B Skyen did an amazing reading of the short story "Rise With Me" it's super adorable, and a fantastic story! th-cam.com/video/ui56ieKlsuY/w-d-xo.html
I think Jhin considers himself ugly, that's why he always wears a mask. Aside from that I don't think we know much about him before he was the golden demon. Idk if you've watched Jhin's teaser, but you should also check that out. Aatrox, Aurelion Sol, Pantheon, Fiddlesticks, Swain and Kled have some good voicelines too. Check those out!

Hearing old necrit speak is such a blast from the past
But imagine most people have felt the need for approval at some point in their lives
viego, kindred and rengar are my favorites from voice lines and lore def should check them out
just started playing jhin i love his character
Have you guys listened to Jhin's theme?
Since you've already watched Arcane- I'm a longtime League player, and throughout the whole first season, I heard traces of his theme. His _style._ You ever see that meme of the horned owl where its all normal, but then it hears something, and its ears pop up all like- *_ZOOP!_*
?
Because it was like that, every time, throughout season one, for me. I've got this sneaking suspicion that Jhin'll make an appearance before the piltover arc ends. Either directly INSPIRED by all the... chaos, or drawn out of hiding, and given a muse, in all the chaotic goings on. Forced, by circumstance, by a real-life epic he's been watching unfold, to act. To create his masterpiece, before his beloved canvas is torn down, or something of the like.
Whatever the reason, I know it's gonna be _good._
Rewatching this...
"A killer? No. I'm an artist."
An artistic killer 😜😈
I can't wait for Aatrox's voice lines
Aatrox and Pantheon have my favourite voice lines. Swain's are great too but require context of who they are said to.
jhin see the world differently maybe because he is a "mad artist" he see so much color, and blood is colorful for him, thats why he really like killing ppl as an "art".
thats why his cinematic trailer he turn ppl into "arts"
you guys need to react to his voiceline in Dark cosmic skin too!
But did his art turn him “mad” or was he drawn to art because he was “mad”? 🤔🤗
necrit didnt explain it because it is something people familiar with the champion are likely to recognize, but fyi, the 'deformity' on jhin's shoulder isnt a real deformity, but rather his sniper rifle strapped to his back which he hides beneath the cloak ^^ though he probably likes the asymmetry to the look anyway haha.
also while i think jhin is an incredibly designed character and his gameplay ties incredibly elegantly to the 'four' thematic, i do feel a little bit like he maybe could have been two characters.. the ocd four focused killer that fits his gameplay perfectly as well as a beauty and performance focused killer who uses a knife and other creative tools in combat. i just feel like the fantastic horrifying artistic serial killer is such a cool and awful idea but it feels a little silly that his 'art' is just him shooting a magic gun that does the art part for him. wheres the talent in that?!?? haha, but aside from that specific gripe, i still think he is a phenomenal character design and the gameplay matches the character shockingly well (albeit only half of the character)
Do aatrox next
For sure on our list to check out. 🙂
jhin is the same Voice actor as Raiden from metal gear series and why hes one of my mains
Reason number 1337 why I love League of Legends lore: Because it has ninja doing ACTUAL ninja work. :)
Don't know if there's any official place to submit requests or anything like that, but I'd like to see your reactions to the Playstation All Starts Battle Royale rival cutscenes
I hope you get to do Aatrox! he is one of the most badass champs i'm sure u'll love him and the voicelines. Another cool ones are Aurelion Sol, Pantheon and my boy Fiddlesticks c':
Edit: u already did Fiddlesticks nvm xd
Edit2: fun detail for you: as u have seen, everything surounding him is related to his obssesion with the number four.
How did I miss this video! On my favourite champ aaaaaaaaaaaaah
Jhin is a serial killer, and a sociopath. In the cinematic for "Awaken" we see Camille hunting down Jhin to an abandoned theatre, and she is a Piltover enforcer, so people were speculating that we might see Camille and/or Jhin in season 2 of Arcane, but I doubt we will
also, Jhin's gun in game is named "Whisper" and he has a line that is something like "yes, the name is ironic" because the gun is very loud
Riot games are currently makinh a fighting game currently titled project L, they've released some video diaries for it, could be a good thing to react to for fight night fridays
If u didnt watch it, i recommend you the Theme of Jhin also, its very unique.
Other than that i recommend u these Voicelines Video (also from "anothernobody")
Kindred the eternal Hunter (The Grim reaper of Runeterra)
Aatrox (A trancended Being, priosend in his Sword)
Pantheon (a human Warrior, once poscessed by aspect of War)
Yorick (A cursed man holding on thinnest fade of life to fight the black mist)
LEAGUE IS BACK!! im pretty sure i have suggested this before but you should defenitly listen to the Legends of bilgewater, they are so interesting and sometimes a bit dark, its pretty sick!
Absolutely love jhin, dope ass story and he's the only adc imo that doesn't feel samey
jhin's voice lines are asmr to me
I would like you to do Necrit’s Video about the difference between Canon and Arcane at some point.
I wonder if we'll see Jhin in Arcane season 2, he is supposed to go Zaun at some stage
You can try the comic from Zed, we have more much more lore for Jhin, Zed and Shen
Dark Cosmic Jhinnn
There’s a new Aurelion sol rework teaser
if you havent watched the cinematic with jhin, you need to.
As a chilean i cannot listen to the name "Tuula" without laughing my ass off
He got some phrases svout him being a slave of this compulsion that are kind of sad. Jhin is masterly crafted champ, in game and in lore and his play style matches completely. Some of the phrases he used here are taunts to other champions, like the fat one, who is a shot to Tham Kench, a fat catfish looking demon.
i would like to belive that jhin was symmetrical but decided to self mutilate to the point where you could not recognize him
“Wonderful”
I want to feel everything. And then. Nothing
you should react to his Voicelines in his dark cosmic skin too!
YEAHHHHH!!!!!
🥳🥳
Hes creepy in a beautiful way and I love him for it
The guy gets it
Pantheon the Mantheon
You should watch the new Aurelian Sol rework trailer and his voice lines his voice acting is incredible
"You've awoken something deep inside me." WTF lol
Ah, well. He isn't the only champion with sussy lines. Looking at you, Evelynn.
Champion!
🙂
Kayns voice lines as well if y'all can
I think Jhin considers himself ugly, that's why he always wears a mask.
I would love to see u guys react to Mw2 Executions they are so cool and brutal.
I wish you react to the jhin legendary skin
maybe react to aatrox voice lines next he is one of the strongest league champions
Not sure if it’s next but we for sure will check him out 🙂
I would suggest Aatrox next. His voice lines are so goddamn good.
Jihn although rather 2d since its only murder neverthless he is still one of Lol great characters that can rival Dota 2 writing...sadly from then on its almost all K Pop character for Riot
Y'all should react to aatrox voice lines the amount of pure hatred and trash talk he does is hilarious
Too bad this video didnt wrote on the screen to whom jhin was talking to, as some of this voicelines are special interactions when meeting other characters ingame, i think other vids of the voicelines included them
We need u to react to the new Rainbow Six siege year 8 cinematic
