Matt Mercer continues to be omnipotent in the voice acting industry. Gangplank was already a shock but WOLF? That's crazy.
To be fair, Wolf's tone kinda sounds like GP, it's just that you can't really tell because of the voice effects. But yeah, he definitely has a nice range

For your third, sometimes developers make their characters have a likeness or look nearly alike to their VA. You can see stuff like that in other video games as well, and ofc they do get permission usually.

Kellen Goff as fiddle is actually insane.
Fun fact: some characters such as Kaisa and Lilia were facemodeled to be very close to the real life actor as they found then fitting and pretty enough to be made extra effort to match their face. Its like not just the voice and identity but the look as well.
Actually seems like many champions look like their actors, or maybe it’s more of good pick of presentation pictures from author.

Seeing this reminds of the Brazilian VAs who passes away.
If i remember correctly, it was Zilean, Volibear, Corki, Sivir, our Announcer, Braum, Xerath, Ivern, Kassadin, Singed, Viktor, Xin Zhao, and Old Jax.
A lot of them were very big names in both the industry and culture surrounding voice acting, i miss them still.

This is the reason it probably is anonymous, a lot of VAs receive death threats just for voicing characters people hate :/ They also do it to keep other job opportunities more open but the first reason is probably more realistic in this case

Actually TJ Storm took over the role of Lucian since Senna’s release. Patrick Seitz’s old voiceclips were retained for some grunts and laughs though.
And Aphelios is voiced by Riot's sound designer whose identity is undisclosed, that's where all of his grunts come from.
Fantastic video my dude. So crazy to see what other projects these actors have worked on. For example Alessandro Juliani is so good on CW's The 100.

I remember hearing the new Irelia speak for the first time, and immediately recognized Cherami. But after looking it up, it said that they were keeping the identity of the voice actress secret...and then I looked into it further to see if anyone else had recognized it yet, and no one else knew either...definitely thought I was holding onto some deep dark secret there for a bit. I guess they must of eventually said who it was, or people eventually figured it out.
She's the one voice actor I hear outside of League and immediately think of Irelia lol
Laura Bailey is also the voice actress for old Akali and Travis Wilingham's (Azir & GP) wife. Also both Robbie Daymond and Liam O'Brien are in Critical Role too.

It's interesting to watch.
When hearing the voices you make up a mental image of how the voice actor might look like.
Most look really similar to your image while some really surprise you and some others are unsettling to how similar they look to their voiced champion.
Great video. Now i know who's VA from these champs now. Btw, Liam O'Brien as yasuo are impeccable. You can feel yasuo's desperation for redemption just from hearing his lines "I've nothing left to give". Oh and Also "I like your face hair. FACE. AND. HAIR. Oh no..." from Ezreal lines are ridiculous. (These two lines are my favourite. But these lines are not in the video. It's from Legends of runeterra)
As a Singed main i'm sad i will never know who voiced Singed. But i love his voice and his laugh so much. perfect champion imo

Why do so many of the voice actors look like... Well like they were literal born to voice that specific character?
Ooooooof, i love voice acting! Espesially when you listen to the characters for years and never realize they shared a voice actor. My favs are:
In french ver, Akali's VA is Geneviève Doang, who also played Evandelyne in WakFu. Adeline Chetail is the voice of french Jinx (in Arcane), and she also plays Amalia from the same series.
Rus ver of LoL has, like, the half of rus Winx cast (which isn't many, but still). Lulu and Sejuani is voiced by the same person. Lulu *and* Sejuani. I love this shit. The voice actress is Larisa Nekipelova and she was Bloom. Ekaterina Semenova (Stella) is Sona, Ramillya Iscander (Musa) is Quinn and Lissandra, Darya Frolova (also Musa) is Riven and Elise, Denis Bespalyi (all male characters) is Varus, Olaf and Mordekaiser.
Insane amount of work and research. Damn

25:34 Kind of disagree with Cassandra Lee Morris being best know for SAO. I’d argue she’s probably more known now for being Morgana from Persona 5. Suguha is def up there but I think now Morgana is above it. Robbie Daymond as Akechi is also a pretty notable one.
Yuri Lowenthal is def most known for Spider-Man at this point tho idk how that was missed.
I feel like he likes SAO lol. He focused highlighting that a lot. He definitely focused more on anime or TV characters over video game characterz

IMDB credits (trust them as you want) for every unknown character are as follows:
Anivia - Christiane Crawford (OG, 2009 Rework and 2013 Rework voices). I do not recognize anything else Christiane was in other than voicing Carmen Sandiego in a couple of the video games.
Cho;Gath - J.S. Gilbert for regular Cho, but Gentleman Cho'Gath is credited to someone named John Briggs (see Malphite).
Karthus (Rework) - Alessandro Juliani. He's Ziggs and L from Death Note, but also was on The 100 for 3 years (He played Sinclair for those who watched the show) and the Sabrina remake for 13 episodes.
Kha'Zix - Chuck Kourouklis. He also did Darius, and did a couple Telltale Games, both Toad and Bufkin from Telltale's Wolf Among Us, and Hershel Greene in Telltale's The Walking Dead.
Malphite - John Briggs. This is his only IMDB credit along with voicing Gentleman Cho.
Miss Fortune - The OG voice was done by Melissa Fahn (I am personally unsure if the rework changed the voice at all as the voicelines still reference "summoners" which is a very outdated term for League), while Rachel Kimsey did Gun Goddess MF. Melissa Fahn has done a lot of things from Edward Wong in Cowboy Bebop, to Gaz in Invader Zim, to Silver Wolf in your own Honkai Star Rail. Rachel Kimsey is a Soap Opera veteran, in 122 episodes of The Young and the Restless, but also does voice acting as well, voicing Alice in Genshin Impact.
Nautilus - Richard Newman. He played Mr. Turtle in Franklin, Rhinox in Beast Wars (the Transformers but animals show), and M. Bison in the Street Fighter animated tv show.
Nunu & Willump - Willump is played by Jonathan Lipow, who did Wrecking Ball in OW, and does additional voices for a lot of things from like the Spyro Reignited trilogy to Batman: Arkham Origins to Castlevania the tv series.
Olaf - John Snyder. He is E. Honda in the recent Street Fighter games, Cao Cao in the Dynasty Warriors games, and Isaac Netero in the english version of Hunter x Hunter.
Singed - Roger L. Jackson. He is the voice for all the Ghostface phone calls in the Scream franchise as well as Mojo Jojo from Power Puff Girls.
Syndra - Brett Pels. They are also OG Evelynn as well as Becca from Telltale's The Walking Dead (400 Days and a bit part at Carver's Hardware Store compound in Season 2).
Teemo - Tammy Nishimura. She isn't credited with much, but she was Karai in one of the TMNT video games.
Zac - Marc Diraison. He is Zoro in One Piece and actual Akihiko in SAO (Kevin M. Connolly was the voice specifically for Akihiko's avatar, Heathcliff).
Zilean - Credited as Nick Epstein. Not really anything else recognizable.
This is a great video, although I find it a bit unfortunate that only the base league of legends voice actors got named, as some champions have different voice actors in different pieces of media (most notably legends of runeterra does this a lot) or newer legendaries (veigar or akali for example)
