Champion themes used to be played on the login screen on released, with an animated version of the splashart. But these login screens have been removed (sadly... it was quite epic to login with those music), so now you only have "champion themes". That's why Jhin's video is titled "login screen" and Viego' & Seraphines are "champion theme" : Seraphine and Viego were released this year so didn't get a login screen, Jhin is 5 years old.

@@XxXDemonhunter the log in screens were also memory heavy. They removed it to ease the log in process on low end PC's since 9 times out of 10 you had it disabled anyways.

Jhin imo was the best character design overall League of Legends has made in a long long time. From his theme, his mystery, his little signatures (obsession with 4s for example), etc. Those little bits are all little elements that are included in this song just completed the overall masterpiece.
We are almost 6 years into his release and Rito has not come closed to the level of perfection they achieved with Jhin.
I dare to say, there is a before/after with Jhin, he really is the base for how a champion design, gameplay, lore and music should be like.
Jihn and Thresh are, imo, the two best designs from top to bottom. The theming, the tying that into abilities, the feel they give, the additional vibes Riot creates around them [Cinematics, music, etc]
As you can notice, Jhin is obsessed with the number 4:
-His weapon has 4 shots before reloading (and the last one is the most powerfull since its empowered with dark magic).
-His ultimate [R] has 4 shots
-His grenade [Q] can hit 4 enemies.
-His theme is in 4x4 compass
-His theme has 4 sections
-His theme uses 4 voices: (chorus + violins + bass + percussion)
-He kills 4 characters in his cinematic (Sona - Lee Sin - Zed - Vi)

I highly suggest also reacting to the "Dark Cosmic Jhin" Theme. Its another Version of this theme. They basicly took the rythm and replaced the sounds and made tgem fit each other in a different theme.

You should hear Jhin’s voice lines - I can only describe him as somewhere between Hannibal Lecter and a workaholic musical producer.
So in game he’s talking to you about his ideas on philosophy and his personal quest for artistic perfection - while going on a killing spree. He’s like the Moriarty of league of legends.
Kindred's voice lines give you existential crisis though. 🤣🤣 They're so poetic about death ( i mean they're death still ) 🤧🤣
He literally explains jhin characteristics base on his own judgment of what he heard on that music.
This song portrays the way he sees his victims, first part of the song is the moment hes going for the chase and kill thats why we hear a lot chaos, the second part is after he shoots the victim thats why we hear a silence folowed by something divinal, he thinks that hes making something bigger out of it, something beautiful

The login screens are the champion themes up until 2019 when Riot cancelled login animations. Ever since then, they have done champion themes separately from login screens and now include artwork and design work of the champion while their theme plays. So for all the recent champion themes, they will be labeled champion themes, all the 'older' champions will be called login screens!
Damn this was epic. As a former violinist and small producer, this theme was different. I was hoping for more drum sounds towards the end. Great reaction Nato!
The theme is planned in 4 acts around Jhin's psychotic style of killing, he is all about the art and perfection of murder, and he does stuff like carve people's faces into the shape of a lotus flower after killing them to make them beautiful. So the song is all intense for the beginning two acts (the chase and the kill) and then it's more symphonic and sad for the final 2 (the silence and the beauty).

Jhin is a psychopath serial killer who is all about his twisted delusions and perspective of art (if you are interested, you can go and watch his teaser trailer, where you can see his literal field of vision... this is how he sees things which is as i mentioned twisted but kind of beutiful in its own sense)
this champions is all about 4, he guns use 4 bullets, his name has 4 letters, his grenade bounces 4 times off minions and champions, during his taunt, his gun has 4 tally marks on it and in the lore he does 4 kills in each nation each time he gets a contract and in a musical perspective! most modern songs are written with a 4 by 4 time signature and that is very much deliberate as Jhin counts every auto attack, its like he is conducting the game, etc.

so each champion that comes out for league, they each have their own theme song which is played as the log in theme for when it is released. many but not all, are in cenematics and a few even have dedicated cinematics or "trailers" pre-release of the character being in the game to hype it up.
Jhin looks at peoples death not as ordinary death. He will do anything to make it bloom.
His ultimate, which include four bullets and starts with a tone like the once when the "beat" drops.
1. BULLET: Tention rises
2. BULLET: Catching up to the point.
3. BULLET: Making sure the prey is down and low.
4: BULLET: Securing the kill. Making them bloom in art...
Jhin is a champion that get so much affection towards the player. It aint about killing enemies anymore. It is about making them into art.

Jhin is a serial killer and self proclaimed artist who has been captured many times for his crimes. He combines guns and magic to create ilusion (his favorite trick is making gun woulds look like magical flowers and stuff) so some parts of his theme may be from the victims pov. Absolute perfection

Best part of the Jhin song that most people only touch on here is, in the sound design, it is a play between the percussion (Jhin's gun) and the choir, each taking over after the last. But if you think about the story, it is the opera of a murder taking place.
In the beginning, with the percussion and the click, it is the sound of a gun being loaded. The clicking is the spin of the chamber so that the next bullet can be loaded, and the percussion is the bullet being slammed into place.
The second act is the murder. With the four beats counting to the gun shot. The chorus comes in immediately afterward, and note that it is wordless. It is, in fact, screams to the tune of opera. Scared by the shot, they scream. Another shot, another scream, and so on. But tuned as to sound beautiful for his art.
Third act is, of course, the silence. The killing is done, the stage is set, Jhin departs.
Third act, the coir weeps as the people view the aftermath, taking it in. A lone violin plays. The harmonics are reminiscent of a church service, almost. But as we hear from the end, as the violin increases its tempo... Jhin is already racing off to his next work.

Explaination for Login Screen:
Before during the Login Screen for the Game they played the Champions theme when he came out but they changed that so you dont hear the theme in the Client anymore.
But Login Screen and Theme is basically the same.
Words I remember from your reaction "Eerie, Scary vibe, Chaotic with a sense of dominance, A buildup and then calm then lonely" you Described how Jhin acts by just hearing his music and looking at the splash art. The Beautiful combination of percusion(his gun clicks) and chorus makes you think directly about him. He loves "Contrast" in his art. When he makes art (killing people with special bullets that turns people into sculptures with all kinds of illusion to the viewer) he always make a big scene (explosions or drama on the kills). The theme starts tense and lots of gun sounds...then calm...lonely.
Note: Jhin was so misterious on the teasers until the release that he is the only champion that's not actually in the scene, as you mentioned what you are looking there is a Mirror with his reflection in it, you are not looking at him directly. His gun is hot still (smoke in the splash art) he just killed someone.
If you like the theme and the character, you should look some videos about him, his lore and the way he acts, you will definetely love it.

the league community agrees jhin is riots magnum opus, he is the most balanced champ, most of his base state go up by 4 in some way (be it .04 or .44) his q bounces 4 time and his mines take 4 seconds to go off, 4 is the soul of his kit and i love it, his theme also fits him as he is a killer who believes people are there most beautiful right at there death so his gun has special bullets that make plants grow out of people (correct me lore fans if i am wrong) look beautiful to jhin. his skins also are amazing with there own personailtys with jhins obsession with the arts in some way.
Next time, you can react to Jhin-Neon Cherry Blossom, which similar to this one in terms of production.

7:02 My guy I just commented on another one of your videos about League Theme Songs, and you hit the nail on the coffin here.
Jhin was my favorite up until the Fiddlesticks rework, and he is a serial killer that travels with a circus. However, he sees his killings as art, and turns the bodies of his victims into macabre statue(tte)s, claiming that there is a certain beauty in his art that only he can truly understand.
Saying this part is "Kind of cold" is the perfect description to once again prove that Riot knows what they're doing, since this is about him performing with the circus and then seeing someone he KNOWS would be perfection as art, and how he works to catch them. Once he has them, he's making preparations, setting their stage for them, and that final THRUM on the violin string is his bullet killing them, forming a blossom where it struck. This cold part is him bathing in the beauty of his work, knowing no one else can truly appreciate it, but it must be seen nonetheless.
The newest ones are called champ theme but since the older ones used to come out with a login screen animation they are called login screen but ye those are champion themes as well. Btw there many more that are really worth listening to, I would recommend fiddlestick's, aphelios's and maybe neeko's one but theres a ton of good champion themes and music in general from riot

I reeeally love that you start to get into the Champion theme songs. A totally underrated medium from League of Legends that, so far, I have only seen 1 or 2 other guys on TH-cam react to.
May I suggest you find someone that can give you a very short summary of the theme's champions and motive? I think it would give you a better appreciation for the music.
Take Jhin here as an example,. You have already seen in the comments that the number 4 is a big thing for this guy, as well as the fact that he is a serial killer with a twisted sense for art.
If you knew those things before dropping into the theme, I'm pretty positive it would have opened up more possibilities for you to analyze the song in-depth and maybe even find links between the character and the theme the community hasn't even thought about yet.
Just an idea tho. And I'd also happily be the guy to give the short summaries with most essential info if you don't have anyone!

Yes the title is "login screen" in some videos but its still the champion themes. They used to put those songs and animations when you were loging in but now you can stay logged in so no more of that

Hey joey, love your reactions and i'm glad i caught this one early, so to answer yeah this is the champion theme and they used to play during the Log in(this is why it's called that) screen whenever a new champion got released.
Bit of context here, Jhin is considered by many one of the coolest champions in the game, fgrom his design to the fact that you DO hear samples from this music in his skills or when he talks in game to his story, he is basically "the Phanthom of the opera" champion of league of legends, He's a "failed artist" that became a seriar killer when he found out murder is the "purest form of art", or so he thinks, plus he has a weird obession with the number 4, 4 victims, his "artist name" has 4 letters(cool fact to type his name on your keyboard you do a motion that resembles drawing a 4), all his skills in game have to do with the number and he uses a gun/snipe rifle with 4 bullets, So yeah what you heard in the first part of the music was probably a sound made to resamble a gunshot plus the heartbeat of his victims, then in the middle where the song dies out you could say it's the moment in between, when the gun hasd been shot and the bullet is in the air, Then the last cresciendo is probably when the bullet hits his targed since as jhin says that's the moment he "feels alive".
Also all the music is divide in 4 parts:
The Introduction (to show chaos)
The Killing (when the drums/ shoots are fired)
The Death (when the choir is singing)
Closing the Curtains (the vocals and the violins)
All of this because he is a psychopath and sociopath that see death/ killing as a form of theatrical art and everything is perfect and planned.

Jhin is by FAR my favourite League of Legends champion. Everything about him from design, to gameplay, to theme. Everything is perfect. Easily the most well designed champ in the game. Plus, he reminds me of one of my favourite Bioshock characters; Sander Cohen.
almost all the sounds in this play during the attacks Jhin does in game, the clicking drums are him reloading his gun, which is called whisper and has 4 shots. login screens used to be the most recent champion released "champion theme", that played when you loaded up the game, hence login screen/champion theme being considered the same thing to most people that will suggest either,
my suggestion would be looking into Ekko's champion theme/login next. it has more unusual sounds that make a fantastic beat.
