    Hi glad I found your channel! I am a music producer and I am looking for a second monitor for my Mac Mini M1. I tried both the Dell ultrasharp u3219q and a BenQ PD3205U both being 4k but 4k works bad on Mac Os the whole scale thing does not work out that great for me (what is the point of having a 4k screen if you cannot use it) I found out that to work best with Mac Os the ppi should be close to 110 or 210. I use a BenQ PD3420Q for my second setuo and it has a ppi of 109 beeing 3440-1440 and looks amazing with colors and is very Sharp with text. Now a want another screen either a 27 or another 34 (not 4k) I think I like it to be either a Dell, Asus or BenQ but what model to choose ? This Dell you are talking about looks great but is text sharp ! The 34 I am looking at right now is the Asus ProArt PA348CGV 34" 3440 x 1440. Would love to hear your input! As amuisc producer we like our DAW (digital audio workstaion) to look great and sharp!

    I tested a Lenovo and a iiyama monitor without about the same specs. But my internet connection was slow when connected through the USB-C hub. i tested it later through a USB Ethernet adapter and directly in to the laptop and the speed was fine. It was only slow when connected via USB dock.Does this Dell monitor also have this problem?

    • @ReviewTechTV
      @ReviewTechTV  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's possible that the USB-C hub on the dock you used might have affected the internet speed. It's not necessarily an issue specific to the Dell monitor itself, but rather the hub or the combination of devices involved.
      However, the behavior can vary based on multiple factors like the specific model of the dock, compatibility of the devices, or even firmware/driver updates.
      Before assuming the Dell monitor will have the same problem, it's good to check for any known issues or compatibility problems with the specific dock or hub you plan to use with the Dell monitor. You might want to look for user reviews or forums discussing experiences with that particular setup.
      Sometimes, updating drivers or firmware for the dock or the laptop itself can also resolve compatibility issues that might affect internet speed through the dock.

    I wanted to buy the u2421e version a couple years ago, to replace my old P2414h. I ordered several u2421e's from different stores, and each one had problems with a dark edge around the perimeter of the screen - dark stripes along the frame that are visible from different angles. It felt like the matrix was a little bit not recessed deep enough. Is there no such problem on this version 22? It is not very clear from this review.

    Judging by the stand that holds the monitor - it's not very stable, and the monitor starts to wobble from the slightest movement or jolt on the table. On DELL P2414H there is no such problem, because the leg of the stand (axis) is wider.

    Is there a goog pixel density?

    • @ReviewTechTV
      @ReviewTechTV  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      WQHD (Wide Quad High Definition) resolution typically refers to a display resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. The pixel density of a WQHD display depends on the size of the screen it's on. For instance, on a 27-inch monitor, the pixel density would be around 108 pixels per inch (PPI). However, this can vary slightly based on the exact dimensions of the screen.

    You should have mentioned that, for gaming, it's not ideal because it does not support high refresh rates or variable refresh rates (no support for Nvidia GSync or AMD FreeSync). It only supports 60Hz, which is inadequate for serious gamers playing First Person Shooters or other fast-action games. It is however just fine for casual games or those that are not twitch-based fast action games. But for productivity, it's a fantastic monitor.

      Though Dell faced monitor quality issues, they've actively improved. Past problems, like bezel peeling, led to better manufacturing and design.
