I knew about this tiny ship today. Maybe it will be my initiation to the dream of sailing. I would like very much to see more of your videos.

Scott, I think you have shocked the 473 people that have seen this video, at one person thought enough to comment on the nice job you did. Obviously the remaining viewers don't have a clue about a classic design when there see it.
I am the guy that is in the process of making a Gull-Wing Hatch for out Flicka in Cincinnati. I've got the mock up version (pine) almost done and it things are looking promising. I'll send you pics when it takes shape.
Question, where did you get the Inside Latching/Locking and Prop hardware?

Pat Maundrell thanks Pat for your kind words. I bought those latches 15 years ago and can’t remember where I bought them, sorry. How did your hatch turn out🤔⛵️

Good afternoon! I hope everything is well! Please send me a link on how I can make a Butterfly hatch from the beginning (from the scratch) using a dry wood boards in carpentry workshop. Thank you in advance.

I know it's a bit late, but aren't those hatch hinges inverted? Or do they jam before 360 degrees of rotation. Hinge plates normally sit flush against each other when closed...

Good afternoon, whether you have no reference to production of the hatch of a butterfly, by own efforts with 0? I thank.

How do you prevent rain water from leaking past the gull wing piano hinges?

0:57 - mismatch of door and cover curves. Not perfecto. =) Just joking. Very nice boat!

Is the hatch gasketed? How do you keep wind driven rain from seeping in?
