    Handcrafting a boat is a precious investment in your life. There is something unique in the process, a form of art and skill. An emotional journey of patience and memories. I certainly enjoyed this winters morning learning about the building of "Perfecto"

    You have done an extraordinary job on her. Have you taken her to blue water, big seas, maybe a storm? Keeled her way over? How did she do? She is so beautifully built that I’m betting you would not challenge her in blue water or heavy seas, maybe a bit delicate. I know you would protect her. Texas

    Thank you for sharing your experiences building the boat. I enjoy watching your video. I'm curious of how tall the boat nested on its trailer. Can you remove the tabernacle so it can reduce the height to clear the garage ceiling for storage?

    I love the ship and all the perks you threw into it , the first instrument I learned was violin 😉. I so want to make one of these in a fully varnished finish. A small pirate ship if you will 😂 have a good one

    What a beauty! Sorry, i am complete nube, but i guess this kind of boats is only for lakes and rivers? In my region there is only sea, but i dream about a boat, i could transport myself and store it at my garage or the yard . Is it possible?

  • @52Warlock
    @52Warlock 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Scott, a technical question if I may. Forward, you have a large area that could easily fill with water coming over the bow. I see the two drain holes at the dorade boxes, but I see no exit from there. If you were to take a wave, where would the water go? Thanks - lovely job. As a fiddler / mandolin / mountain dulcimer player - I really appreciated the scroll and pins for your bow.

    These little pocket cruisers are interesting but I honestly don’t get it. They’re too small they be comfortable or practical. Seems like it makes more sense to buy a 21 to 31 foot boat and just customize it

    you really are acting like a violin maker here. as a violinist and boat builder I have great respect for the perfection of violins, but when building boats, I dont see much need for this much perfection. mainly because boats just get banged up a lot all the time, and the fact that people dont see the boat as closely as they do a violin.
