Would you consider doing a video about all of the Jedi that Vader killed with lightsabers other than his own? He seems to have been rather resourceful.
Honestly before Rebels my friends and I all thought that Vader killed them first or sent a group of clones to take them out first before he attacked the Temple.

@@cherm722 yea I know that I really didn't like it still so he did that rather than strike her down then and maybe got Kenobi right then he had to of know how close he was. I fully expected Kenobi to duel the grand Inquisitor that episode.
There are way too many holes in this. I love the grand Inquisitor. What to think one man killed Sentinels. Who in the past would hunt down and eat dark siders for breakfast. Even if he killed three or four at a time. The other Jedi would have realized this. Plus why didn't Vader remember him when they 1st met? Plus the clones never told that they might have have a ally. I would like to see how he did so.
Temple guards didn't hunt seth though, they guarded the temple from them, Jedi Sentinels was the ones that hunted the Sith. Both had beautiful yellow sabers but one was like a spike and one was the whole blade.
Wooow I did NOT know that about the grand inquisitor! That's crazy! Dude you're blowing my mind with some of this stuff bro. I'm fascinated by how the stories of all these characters just connect so well with the story around them
The apparent speed and ease that the Jedi temple fell is one of the most glaring fumbles in all of Star Wars. There really should have been only two options just from a purely tactic/logic point of view. Either there should have been an emergency evacuation plan, in which all of the younglings and 90% of the personnel in the temple get out. Or a VERY long, bloody and difficult battle with MASSIVE casualties on both sides, but especially among the Empire. No explanation can get around that gapping mismatch.
A lot of the jedi's at the temple weren't soldiers or warriors, younglings and acolytes and older Jedi. All the Jedi knights and masters were fighting the war. The greatest fighters were Generals and we know how that went. MTFBWY.
@@SK4M_Freal Agree. Not all Jedi are Masters, and not all Jedi are even skilled Knights. So though they maybe Jedi, a lot there are probably Younglings & Padawans deep in study, or just lower ranked Jedi that aren't as skilled in fighting (like teachers).
This I still can’t figure out: correctly seeing the Republic (Palpatine) driven Jedi as exacerbating the issues of the war and in turn deciding that killing innocent people and turning to the dark side to do exactly what they were complaining about the Jedi doing unwittingly makes more sense.
Grand Inquisitor: The Jedi are a threat to the safety of the galaxy and are doing awful things. Also the Grand Inquisitor: The Jedi always do the right thing LOL so easy to manipulate
Maybe the actor that played the role of the grand Inquisitor in Kenobi was the best one and was deserving of it but I really don't like the way they made him look. Same with the 5th brother. They don't look intimidating they just look Goofy. Maybe they went overboard with the prosthetics and makeup! The grand Inquisitor had a skinny face with boney cheeks. I don't know I think they just could have done a better job but if he was better get acting then the rest of the people auditioning that is a small sacrifice to make.
Most likely him and Palps knew about his business and didn’t see him as a threat to them, perhaps a threat to the Grand Inquisitors in combat & strength in Sith’s abilities
When I looked up which Jedi had the yellow lightsabers there was only two types of Jedi that could carry yellow lightsabers Temple guards and Jedi Sentinels Temple guards had hidden identities and dual bladed yellow lightsaber sticks Sentinels had full blade lightsabers and we're usually single blade Temple guards were basically security and Sentinels was the cops that hunted down Jedi that turned on them and Sith Lords. Both of which is main job was to stay in the background unless needed.
Even the best warriors would eventually be overwhelmed by a large force. If the entire 501st Legion accompanied Vader, then yes, even the Temple Guards would have been overwhelmed, especially if they are completed surrounded.
Imagine in a Plot Twist if it was Senator Bail Organa the secretly had the Jedi Temple Guards work for him and go into hiding, only emerging when he or the Rebellion under attack from Vader and the Inquisitors.
It's really simple... stop theorising about it. The Jedi Temple Guards were NOT in the prequel trilogy hence they were NOT there during order 66. It really is that simple.
I love almost everything about the story of the fall and rise of the empire but seriously. Even Anakin if we're honest was not good enough to fight all of the temple guards especially given what the whole fucking point of the sentinel Jedi was, let alone the grand inquisitor.
Even if he doesn't kill everyone, Vader would for sure. That's most powerful Vader, he lost a lot of his powers when he started to use his suit, and we know that Palpatine purposely weakened Vader just because to stop him right away to challenge him for the power/emperor, his suit presented big limitations for Vader. Someone would say that Vader got stronger in the force, oh well he obviously didn't watch clone wars and the episodes when he founded light and dark representatives of the both force sides, he was stronger than both of them. From that day she (light side of the force in the pure form) when being killed by her own brother and Anakin was possessed by the dark side already, then when she saved the life of Asoka - light side was in the Asoka forever - that's why she was purefies the crystals so fast to see her blades pure white, we all know that the crystals are taking up color from their owners. Anyway my point is that Anakin/Vader was the strongest and there's a possibility that that the Vader already defeated them before entering the temple.
Also got to keep in mind it’s unrealistic he killed all of them because thier are hundreds of different Jedi temples that had them however the Jedi temple we think of was essentially thier main headquarters where most Jedi were stationed so it had the most guards
How can the grand inquisitor have been vaders inside man if when they met in the jedi library they fought, until vader revealed he was just testing his armor and then owned him. But they had no idea who the other was yet.. it was in vaders marvel comic series.
I always thought Anakin/Vader just killed them all as he marched into the temple, as we don't see much of him while he's there, other than killing the younglings.
I'm kinda iffy on this. Because Anakin shows up when 66 is actived. Which means he and the 501st either A) killed a good amount of the Temple Guards. Or B) captured them to turn them in the Inquisitors and to the Dark Side. But we only really have information about the Grand Inquisitor who was in fact a temple guard who was tortured and turned to the dark side and charged with leading and hunting other Jedi and Force Sensitive individuals (due to Kenobi and Rebels).
The theory I wouldve written was that the Grand Inquisitor was able to kill 2 or 3 of the guards then the others were able to stop him and he retreats. Since one of their sacred brothers has now fallen, they must DISBAND as a unit in order to protect the remnants of the light side they have. (That should be a a rule. If one of the guards goes rouge, the rest have to go into hiding in order to protect the knowledge)
The flash back fight between the grand inquisitor and I can’t remember his name doesn’t make since considering he was a padawan when order 66 took place
i don't think it needs a deep conspiracy to explain their sudden disappearance. I also don't think there was any time for the future grand inquisitor to coordinate any such internal attack with Vader, who had literally just turned to the dark side and was immediately given the order to march on the temple. I would assume the temple guards were simply the first to be gunned down. By the time we see the clones deep in the temple interior, they have already come past the entrances where the guards would be stationed. It wasn't shown on screen, but against that many troopers, thy would likely have just been overwhelmed, especially as they would initially have not seen the clones as enemies until the shooting started.
Vader and the Inquisitorius didn't meet until after the Galactic Empire was established. Thus Vader and the Grand Inquisitor had no sort of connections. Thus it the chancellor manipulating everything
I find it hard to believe that the Grand Inquisitor could have killed every single Jedi Temple Guard when he lost to Kannan Jarrus in single combat. Edit considering how big the Jedi Temple is there must have been dozens of Temple Guardsmen and only somebody like Yoda, Palpatine, Mace Windu and pre-suit Vader could pull that off.
I feel this is why I'd either be a darkside user or a Grey jedi in a sense. I could never really respect the jedi order of the republic. With the more I learn the more I begin to almost despise it. They were blind, arrogant, and corrupt. Too blind to see that true balance of the force is to favor all its aspects. But they decided that one side was purely unusable. Mace Windu was truly the only jedi who even remotely understood that there should be a balance. While qui Gon, knew about it all. The corruption, the blinded order. It's sad he never got the chance to let his ideal out. I'd simply would rather be a force user who uses all its power instead of focusing on one over the other. If you focus on only one, regardless of which one you pick you'd be weaker. You would never reach your max potential. With true balance is only when you have the most strength and knowledge. Unfortunately with Disney in the ropes I doubt we'll truly see any really balance orders. Ahsoka in my opinion is the best example of balance. Luke still grasped certain parts of the old order. Which I feel caused kylos fall.
It's interesting to view the dark side as not being evil and the light side as that of evil. Both sides view the other form a point of view. So what is evil if not forcing g one's will on others, being oppressive to all as one rules over all. "It my way or nothing...." As said, dealing with absolute. The dark side can never be the way.
Id its true that The Grand Inquisitor opened the doors for Vader and the 501st to the jedi temple .Surely he would of seen Anakin/Vader and therefore know the identity of Vader?
Vader couldn't beat Obi Wan, much less have the stamina to defeat so many Jedi and their Masters. His power was still juvenile versus the stone cold and hardened Vader we see now.
ngl i really need to know if it's true/canon the grand killed them because i believe i heard that all the guards were left for Vader and for no trooper to deal with them for how tough they were during operation knight fall and i also believe that if this did happen grand must of know of Vader before knight fall to do this and in the Vader comics which are canon grand and Vader fought after the whole new Empire not knowing who is who until The Emperor told him right after their fight that they are allies and this is when Vader found out about the inquisitors so in my view I'm just going to take this as your opinion/theory about what could of happen

Now... Im fairly sure of the obvious, inevitable outcome either way... BUT had all or nearly all the Temple Guards NOT been killed and was ready to aid in fighting the 501st would the Jedi have had any real chance of making a serious difference?? Since there'd only been more Jedi to fight an gun down OR would somehow they'd beaten off the Clone Forces... This, and Order 66, sound like hand-wavy bullshit to me. No military operation has the success rate across such a wide variety of engagements that Order 66 had. The idea that a single skilled Jedi could kill all his numerous peers so successful is preposterous. Many Jedi would have survived, and the Temple Guard would have been disciplined enough to notice their attacker before complete destruction. All these Jedi and Temple Guard were the best of the best. But All of them were completely defeated? It sounds like the opposite of plot-armor. I'll call it plot-lethality.
I haven't ever seen more than 5 at a time.he could have killed them in pairs. They wouldn't be expecting what amounts to their commander killing them. They may even have been unarmed. Poor writing.
Because they were mere jedi .
Because if you aren’t a skywalker or blood related you don’t matter much once the hit the clone wars smh
Becsuse Vader was coming the halls. You saw how easily he fought off cin drallig
Would you consider doing a video about all of the Jedi that Vader killed with lightsabers other than his own? He seems to have been rather resourceful.
I have a strange suspicion they might have been guarding a temple
Props to you for yet again trying to explain away a glaring continuity issue 👏
Honestly before Rebels my friends and I all thought that Vader killed them first or sent a group of clones to take them out first before he attacked the Temple.
I still don't like how easily Reva had it with him. I thought he'd see that coming for sure and put her down but he moved like a robot as well. When the grand inquisitor is an acrobat and skilled in multiple lightsaber techniques he's extremely perceptive I just don't think he'd get caught off guard like that unless he too was so blinded by finding Kenobi but I still don't believe that.
It was his plan if you watch the 5th episode. It’s also a way to make Reva look stronger.
@@cherm722 yea I know that I really didn't like it still so he did that rather than strike her down then and maybe got Kenobi right then he had to of know how close he was. I fully expected Kenobi to duel the grand Inquisitor that episode.
Those double bladed yellow lightsabers go hard
well. That's one way to fix a plot hole about temple guards not existing before the making of the clone wars show.
The GI's monologue in the cantina reminded my of Monty Python's Spanish inquisition scene
How did he kill the Temple Guards though? There’s no way he took them all at once in a straight up fight, what did he do to end them all?
One at a time, it would be like your best friend sucker punching you in the back of the head without suspecting it.
@@theflyer68 it would have to be one at a time,Yoda or WINDU would of sensed it otherwise
Probably killed most of them in their sleep
@@IAmTheSenate_66 how could they sense it when it happened right b4 Vader & the 501st got to the temple during order 66.. It’s too much going on..
poisoned their lunch? :P
Not getting those records from the library was like not getting into art school.
Love your content as a huge star wars fan
4:28 His chair clunks while recording the voiceover, I though my chair had done it and then I went back and heard it on the recording XD
I have been absolutely destroying your content here lately bro! Thanks!
Temple guards were OP
Maybe the actor that played the role of the grand Inquisitor in Kenobi was the best one and was deserving of it but I really don't like the way they made him look. Same with the 5th brother. They don't look intimidating they just look Goofy. Maybe they went overboard with the prosthetics and makeup! The grand Inquisitor had a skinny face with boney cheeks. I don't know I think they just could have done a better job but if he was better get acting then the rest of the people auditioning that is a small sacrifice to make.
You should just be happy disney didn't make him a Lesbian, Transgender male.
I would love to see it on the screen representation of at least a few palace guards putting up a fight.
I would love to see the temple guards in a tv show.
it was like this to me before you expanied it. youngling: help us temple guards the clones are going rouge. temple guards: sorry we're on lunch
Did Vader have knowledge of darth maul running crimson dawn? And if so did he know his past and consider him a threat or equal in the dark side?
Most likely him and Palps knew about his business and didn’t see him as a threat to them, perhaps a threat to the Grand Inquisitors in combat & strength in Sith’s abilities
Great video mate.
now that is note worthy flash back in live action
When I looked up which Jedi had the yellow lightsabers there was only two types of Jedi that could carry yellow lightsabers Temple guards and Jedi Sentinels Temple guards had hidden identities and dual bladed yellow lightsaber sticks Sentinels had full blade lightsabers and we're usually single blade Temple guards were basically security and Sentinels was the cops that hunted down Jedi that turned on them and Sith Lords. Both of which is main job was to stay in the background unless needed.
lmao at the idea that the dude more on Kanan's level killed all of them himself
When was the first time the grand inquisitor spoke to Sidius?
I like the design of the Jedi Temple Guards.
Even the best warriors would eventually be overwhelmed by a large force. If the entire 501st Legion accompanied Vader, then yes, even the Temple Guards would have been overwhelmed, especially if they are completed surrounded.
Can anyone do some information videos on Jedi Sentinels plus the differences between Sentinels and Temple guards?
Imagine in a Plot Twist if it was Senator Bail Organa the secretly had the Jedi Temple Guards work for him and go into hiding, only emerging when he or the Rebellion under attack from Vader and the Inquisitors.
Lol Inquisitor? What is he gonna do, question me to death? laaaaame...
But wait what is the name of the background music that’s playing at the end there that’s my biggest question lollll
Thanks for the video bro
It's really simple... stop theorising about it. The Jedi Temple Guards were NOT in the prequel trilogy hence they were NOT there during order 66. It really is that simple.
Always wanted to know this. Sentinels are my favorite Star Wars characters besides Talon Kaarde
This all makes sense
5:09 “Jedi Dogma”
@@thaiylooze8217 I like theory better than “the grand inquisitor killed the others”
The live action Grand Inquisitor looks like Quan Chi from Mortal Kombat 😅
The flash back fight between the grand inquisitor and I can’t remember his name doesn’t make since considering he was a padawan when order 66 took place
It’s not a flashback
i don't think it needs a deep conspiracy to explain their sudden disappearance.
Its shown in the comic
I find it hard to believe that the Grand Inquisitor could have killed every single Jedi Temple Guard when he lost to Kannan Jarrus in single combat.
Edit considering how big the Jedi Temple is there must have been dozens of Temple Guardsmen and only somebody like Yoda, Palpatine, Mace Windu and pre-suit Vader could pull that off.
Fr he’s weak as piss
This is a great vid
Cool vid
Deep!
Which I feel caused kylos fall.
the light side in its true form is balance of the force. The dark side is imbalance and corruption
Expecting to be able to buy some Star Wars Merch from the 1st of January 2023!
It's interesting to view the dark side as not being evil and the light side as that of evil.
Both sides view the other form a point of view.
So what is evil if not forcing g one's will on others, being oppressive to all as one rules over all.
"It my way or nothing...."
As said, dealing with absolute.
The dark side can never be the way.
The simple answer is temple guards didn’t exist during revenge of the sith
Id its true that The Grand Inquisitor opened the doors for Vader and the 501st to the jedi temple .Surely he would of seen Anakin/Vader and therefore know the identity of Vader?
Do we know that he doesn't know?
Vader couldn't beat Obi Wan, much less have the stamina to defeat so many Jedi and their Masters.
His power was still juvenile versus the stone cold and hardened Vader we see now.
how long did the inquisitors last They were not seen or mentioned in a Star Wars "A new Hope"
Man took 5 minutes to answer the question, talk about planning the run time
It’s called the “Winter Soldier” playbook
Imagine how different the Star Wars universe would be if the Temple Guards were still alive...
The Grand Inquisitor in ObiWan is an imposter. The real Grand Inquisitor is in StarWars Rebels.
Probably the same person when you look at the speech patterns and species. The only thing that’d make me think that is the time between the two shows
ngl i really need to know if it's true/canon the grand killed them because i believe i heard that all the guards were left for Vader and for no trooper to deal with them for how tough they were during operation knight fall and i also believe that if this did happen grand must of know of Vader before knight fall to do this and in the Vader comics which are canon grand and Vader fought after the whole new Empire not knowing who is who until The Emperor told him right after their fight that they are allies and this is when Vader found out about the inquisitors so in my view I'm just going to take this as your opinion/theory about what could of happen
You keep saying that the Grand Inquisitor is unnamed, but he does have a name. The Grand Inquisitor's real name is Rakesh Thanos.
Ya know as Secretive as they guys where in honestly don’t think there all dead I wouldn’t be to surprised if there where more than a dozen Temples still out there with these guys still protecting them and the Empire being none the wiser
Bro how many more videos do you you wanna make for this one thing
I never knew this
In my star wars their was 1 jedi temple grard is still alive and he is hiding in the unknown region with special holocron that he save.by orders of grand master....
Which honestly, makes no sense for the Jedi seeing as millions of angry clones can come in from all directions to back them up if such a scenario had ever happened
They would have held Vader up an extra 41 seconds.
@@jameshyde022 lol yeah, that's sounding, about right... ESPECIALLY seeing as 1 old Venerator SD or air strike, or sma set of arty cannons could stand back an pound them from a distance while riot guards move in to back them up would be my guess in such an instance...it's what is do if it was me an my orders was to take care of them
I thought more than the Grand was converted to "inquisitors"
Distracted by free food in the break room.
So the Grand Inquisitor turned before Vader did 🤔 😳
And literally because Vaders Padawan was put on trial... talk about late to the party, sheeeesh
Lucas hadn't thought about them yet so they weren't there.
Why dose He & some other's have Sith! Eye's ... would be a next cool story to know about ..
Yeah but it's all speculation. What proof was ever offered that indicated he opened the temple doors for Anakin/Vader?
Huum isnt it another known Jedi that is supposed to have oppened the doors for Vader ?
(Or is it legend ?)
Ok so at some point everyone is going to have to realize that obi was the sith lord the whole time security training the child to become darth vader. Consider that then everything else makes more sense
As for the Jedi in the temple, Vader was worth any 5 of them and you had the 501st. if the Jedi sought only to flee I could see more living, but they wouldn't have abandoned their brethren.
@@jameshyde022 I could see the Temple Guards being killed if there were only 5. But I was under the impression there was closer to 75 to 100. The Jedi temple is huge. I'm skeptical that 5 guards would be their total. But I can't say for sure. As far as actual Jedi in the temple, I assumed there was closer to 1000, but that's also a guess.
Barriss Offee was right 🔥
It makes wonder how are.would that operation be if they were there
How many temple guards were there? I'm curious how many the Grand Inquisitor killed on his own.
There is a huge flaw. Like wouldn't the jedi had wondered what happened to all the temple guards?
