Glad to see you made it all the way though! Not something I would normally do but since I did I figured it would make a good blooper. I used to always do bloopers at the end. I’m glad to be doing vids again. Thanks for watching em!
Wasn’t too bad. It’s a pretty kewl old truck. One man’s junk I suppose. It was actually headed for scrap before this last guy got it. He said he got it to start and it ran so well he decided to buy it. Everyone gonna know when I head out for work. This thing will blow your ear drums out. 2 stroke diesel monster!! Maybe we can get to hearing it run in the next video. Thanks for the comment!!
That part about the defrosters, when the controls inside fail, like a vacuum leak, they always default to the "defrost" position for the same safety reasons.
Awesome! Thanks for the info! Been trying to get back to ya all day but internet has been down around here. I’m guessing the tornados had something to do with it
Oil...CF or CF2 rated 40wt or 30wt. The CF is for 2 stroke diesels. No multi weights like 15W40. That valve in the back is for your brakes. It is either for the service or parking side.
I have added only 40w oil. When I get ready to do all the fluid changes and put it on the road I will do 40w as well. Can’t really tell what’s in it from the previous owner.
I used to ride in one of those in the early 80s, I would help my uncle on his route to southern Minnesota delivering liquor and wine to 18 to 25 different liquor stores. I'm not sure what year the truck was but it had a DD 6 cylinder 2 stroke not sure if it was 92 or 71 I can remember hearing the turbo, that truck sure was fast.
Thanks for your story and thanks for the comment. Ole barney has been sitting a minute but I feel like this year will get closer to seeing it on the road.
The homemade dead cat was great but licking the camera was classic. 🤣🤣🤣

Well, I don't know anything about the truck. But I sure would have enjoyed watching you drive it home with no brakes! 😳😁
