First part of my walk along the Herriot Way. In this section I walk from Keld, over Gunnerside Gill and to Healaugh. Music: Natural- Endless Love (TH-cam audio library)
Very nice walk. It was all yours😁 Good to go mid week like you did if possible, I imagine Tuesdays would be quiet. Beautiful spot for tea 🍵 Nicely explained. Loved the river and views. Great tour of how it would have been👍 Keep 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♀️👋
Hi Carrie, superb video of your first part of the Herriot way, see the tractor near Keld is still there, loved all the old industrial building which now sit quiet, wonderful waterfalls on this section, ye also love total quiet apart from the sky larks, looking forward to part 2 cheers nigel
Hi there! Just subscribed to your channel! I've not visited this area, but I think it might have to be on our holiday destinations list - it looks beautiful! Jenny 😊
I thoroughly enjoyed this and the waterfalls at the peat store in particular appealed to me. Your videography is excellent and easy to watch. If one is permitted to pay compliments in this day and age, you looked as beautiful as the scenery Carrie. Keep the videos coming 👍
Hi David, Gunnerside is a fascinating area. I didn't talk much about the history of the area- I'm sure there are other youtubers who can do a much better job than me. It is a lovely walk though- the ruined smelt mills are very interesting.

Fabulous video and great hiking area Carrie. Was up Old Gang Smelting Mill area twice a couple of months ago, plenty of scenery on the tops there.
Yeah it's a fascinating area. Amazing to think what life was like there in the 19th century when the mills were active :D
Lovely walk. The industrial history is fascinating.

@@carriehikes We were at Yarnbury in Wharfedale this week which has a similar landscape due to mining.
@@davidhudson1994 Nice, don't think I've been over there 😄
@@carriehikes It's a nice walk from Hebden, or Burnsall if you want to make it longer.
@@davidhudson1994 I don't get down that way often, I'll check it out. Thanks
