This video is great except for the Mercator part, that thing is a complete red herring here. We were discussing about the Indic perspective and it was strange to bring in a European perspective in between.
The Puranic version is the actual true model. In the Bhagavad Purana 5th Canto is the exact description and dimensions of the entire creation. The Bharat Varsh is the southern most tract of land of the Jambudvip. In the Hari Vamsa Purana it is stated that upon disappearance of Sri Krishna at the end of Dvapara and beginning of the Kali Yuga the tract of land known as Bharat Varsh became isolated from the rest of Jambudvip so that the residents of the Bharat Varsh could be subjected to the effects of Kali Yuga. The rest of the Jambudvip is not affected by the Kali Yuga! In order to understand one needs to completely disregard the cgi images and the version of nasa! Thank you for your work, great videos!

When sage Vaishampayana was narrating Hari Vamsa to Janamejaya during the serpent yagya he briefly made a reference to this just By saying that in another Purana, I believe PADMA Purana, it says that. I’ll have to find the exact chapter and verse, I didn’t take a note. But 100% it is stated in Hari Vamsa like that. If you’d like read Hari Vamsa, and that will direct you to that Purana where it’s elaborated. Jay Sri Krishna!
Please don't provide us Max Muller reference as he misinterpreted our vedas.Max Muller was poor before he was appointed by the British to misinterpret the Vedas and the Upanishads. He was very qualified in Sanskrit though he couldn't pass the 1860 election of the Boden professorship of Sanskrit. He did not have practical first hand knowledge of Indian culture and customs. The biggest evidence found is a letter which was written by Max Muller to his wife in which he has himself mentioned that he was appointed by the Britishers to translate the Vedas in such a way that the Hindus lose faith in them. And nobody could counter him because it was a time when Hindus themselves did not have much knowledge of Sanskrit language. The Gurukuls had been shut-down...🙏

You're partially accurate. But Bhadrashva in my view is Xinjiang and Uttarakuru is Siberia and not Russia as such, which is a part of Europe. Mount Meru is definitely not K2, but some other mountain.

The earth we know of today is just one part of Bharat Varsha, which is a tract of land in the southern part of the greater piece of land known as Jambudvipa. Just like the earth we live on today, there are eight more similar lands in the other parts of Bharat Varsha. Only we on this earth are experiencing Kaliyuga, the rest of the Bharat Varsha are not, and jambudvipa never experiences kaliyuga. The way to these other lands have been covered by nature so we cannot travel outside of our earth. And yes Vedas clearly state we live on a flat earth
