The presentation is incorrect and makes no sense simply because he is trying to adjust the glorious correct Vedic description of the Jambu Dweepa into the fake preposterous fictitious absurd globe model. Our Earth is level (horizontal) and stationary. All religious scriptures from all faiths describe earth as level (flat) and stationary. Our whole known Earth is Bharata Varsha! Jambu Dweepa is the innermost concentric island on Bhumandala and Bhumandala is the 8th parallel level realm (counting from the bottom) out of 14 parallel level realms INSIDE of our gigantic and yet enclosed system called Brahmanda. In the center of Jambu Dweepa there is a golden Mount Meru that reaches to Satya Loka where Lord Brahma resides. Our enclosed universe aka Brahmanda is one of countless similar enclosed brahmandas, all motionless and supported by the heads of Adi Shesha. Hari Om! Stop believing so much in the Western sciences. Majority is made up nonsense.

Aratta is mentioned by sumerians with sanskrit name to the east of Susa and anshan of Iran. And sanskrit texts mention it to be west of Kuru panchal. After akkadian conquer sumerians it disappears from western records but continued to exist in indian texts as aratta and later as aratta-Bahlika(aratta-bactria or balkh).

24:20 Exactly, Sanskrit itself is a poetic language, and writing shlokas(poetic texts) in Sanskrit adds an extra layer of Figures Of Speech to it and to decode the real meaning, we need to have an understanding of Literature + Philosophy.
    Here's what i further think:
Karna as Suryaputra - perhaps this is a personified title given to Karna; as Sun is considered one of the most disciplined and reliable planets - so was Karna - much disciplined and trustworthy. Perhaps that's why Karna is referred to as Suryaputra - so disciplined and reliable as Sun is!
I believe it's not the case that Sun actually became a man and came to Kunti and then became father of Karna - it sounds quite unscientific to be true. However, Karna being called Suryaputra due to qualities like Sun (disciplined, trustworthy, following rules rigidly) sounds quite possible and even aligns with the way Sanskrit Literature is written - using metaphors and personification and other figures of speech.
Ravan as Dashanana - According to Sanskrit, "Anan" not just means Body head, it also means Leader/Supreme. So, Dashanana also means the Head of/Supreme in 10 directions (4 cardinal directions, 4 sub-directions, 2 altitude directions (up, down) - total 4+4+2=10).
Also, your mention of Lanka as a much wider geographical location rather than Sri Lanka alone aligns well with the fact that Ravan was King of much elaborate geography rather than Sri Lanka alone (maybe Sri Lanka was his kingdom's capital).
Also, regions of Dandaka forest lie on the boundary of Lanka you showed in video and Ravana indeed ruled regions of Dandaka forest. So again, Ravan was ruler of entire Lanka region and not just Sri Lanka.
Bheem as Vayuputra - Vayu is term used for "moving air" and moving air, as we know, flourishes things that aligns with its path but disrupts anything that obstructs its path. Similar was the nature of Bheem - protecting and providing those who aligned with him but absolutely destroying those who disrespected/obstructed his goals. Perhaps that's why Bheem is referred to as Vayuputra - possessing qualities like Vayu (moving air).
    Also, there's another speculation i have -
    we know Shiva created Lanka
also, Shiva is known to have given the concept of time and prime meridian (that's why he is referred to as MahaKaal/ Kaaleshwar)
also, according to many texts, Lanka was indeed used as a prime meridian to measure time then.
so, i think when our scriptures say "Shiva created Lanka", maybe what they actually mean is that Shiva created the notion of prime meridian and time!
Over time, perhaps people have mis-interpreted these things and called them Myth!
i may be right or wrong? what do you think? what's your take on these?

How beautiful the river names are! Only Gadavari and Krishnaveni have retained their original names. It will be wonderful if the other names are brought back to use as well.

Wonderful research. I had heard of Jambudvipam but did not know about the 9 varshas. Interesting how different characteristics were assigned to different latitudes and kind of beings and experiences they offered.
Considering different environments produce a tendency for different experiences, beautiful how this knowlegde is encoded in the metaphorical descriptions which can be read literally as well but feel many layers are hidden when examined through different lens. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for Beautiful and clear explanation .. There is absolutely no doubt that Both Ramayana and Mahabharata are a part of Bharat’s History. But I am also sure that trade and communication and advanced technology existed even 10000 years ago too.. which was lost cannot be explained.

I am currently living in Ireland. There are a lot of Hindus here, and many of them do various Pujas on different occasions. I know Jambudweep is what we call Eurasia today. So I asked some of my acquaintances to say "Jambudweepe Yavankhande Celtic varshe Erin deshe" while chanting puja mantras. I am still not sure how to further rectify it.
Also, Pattan usually refers to port cities, but it can be applicable to other cities as well e.g. one of the name of Kashi is Rishipattanam.

Jai Jagannath 🙏🙏🙏 Only those who have divine vision or Yog Siddhi can see the entire Jambudweep. Otherwise only fools will call it mythology because understanding it is beyond their status. To know in detail about the entire universe, one should read the 5th Skand of Bhagwat Mahapuran, this is a clear proof. Hare Krishna Hari Bol 👍🙏😀

Excellent analysis 👏👏👏 definitely all our scriptures needs to be analyzed from scientific perspective rather than just devotional.
Couple of examples : in the first chapter of Ramayana itself valmiki says start reading this epic without any prejudice .
In Mahabharata , Vyasa Maharishi himself says , this Mahabharata will be like history book for those who are interested in history , devotional book to those who are interested in Bhakti , book of laws to people who are looking for nyaya Shasta , etc …
Fortunately both writers like valmiki and vyasa says what it has completely in it, yet our people have only reduced them to devotional aspects and gave chance to westerners and atheists to cast doubts constantly in them .
