Thanks! Happy to see you recovering. I spent three months on bedrest for a pressure ulcer and it was no bueno.. if you guys ever travel to the SF bay area, you are more than welcome to stay at my place. I help run an electric assist handcycling program in San Jose. Would be happy to take you guys out for a ride and show you some cool trails out here..
Thanks so much for becoming a member and for the super thanks! We hope to spend time out west and it would be great to come to your program when we are out there - we currently use a hiking wheelchair but an electric assist bike would be awesome to try.

I know the excitement. I was excitedly nervous to get my Nephrostomy tube and also a had a stent from kidney to bladder. It was so exciting but nervous because the nephrostomy was in my back to my kidney..but it went great. Glad you are relieved 🎉

Were you really sore for a while after you got up in the chair? I laid down so long that my muscles werent use to sitting up so it hurt for a while. I am so happy for you to be able to start moving again.

I wanted to ask if they make any air cushion pads that would be better for your bum? Or what kinds of pads/cushions are the best for you?
One of the best cushions are roho cushions currently and I got a new one to use after surgery! I’m going to try to get a purple cushion or a stimulite for the shower and to use in the car but haven’t decided yet! When mining or on my bum out in nature I use “Vicair all rounder” cushion which clips to my legs and bum and helps in the crystal mines and forest. It also helped during our van build.
