Im sorry to hear about you’re heart palpitations. I know exactly how that feels, after having a chronic sinus infection that lasted for several months, and recurring chest infections during the lockdowns because my sinuses were blocked. And I later discovered that our sinuses regulate our heart rhythm, so, if you have sinusitis, like I have, if my sinuses start clogging up, because of my allergies, and if I feel under the weather, I get heart palpitations. So, having anxiety disorders on top of that, as well as certain foods can trigger palpitations, like excessive caffeine intake etc, it’s not an easy thing to manage. But I’ll never forget on one occasion the heart palpitations were so bad, I thought I was having a heart attack, and after ringing 111, and ambulance was called to my home, and I was taken into hospital. But during my time there, after blood tests and a chest X-ray they found nothing thankfully. And I feel they put it down to my anxiety, but never have I had heart palpitations like that in my life, even with anxiety. I believe what I had, having heart palpitations for several months, was myocarditis, because my left ankle swelled up as well, and I had frequent pins and needles in my hands and arms. It was a frightening experience, and after sometime when they started becoming less frequent my doctor suggested I have a ECG Test at my GP surgery to monitor my heart rhythm, but by that time they weren’t so bad, but they still do come and go at times, but at the moment are a lot milder. Looking back at it all I believe I had long Covid, because like you I also had and still have chronic fatigue and brain fog, but I have this a lot because of my depression and insomnia anyways. I wish you better anyway.

When I went to A and E they thought it would be either heart arythmia, because that runs in my family, or SVT. I am expecting it to come back as there's nothing there just so I am prepared for that outcome and then if they do find anything it'll be a relief in a way
