that's on a motocycle the buttons are always on the left hand side. But with a car sometimes you need to make a left u-turn then followed by a quick right turn, that's when the steering wheel is all over the place and the buttons may be flipped on the other side.
I test drove the X, the S and this new 3 and I hate them all for the lack of stalks. It's just to cut cost and increase margins.

I have no issues with my buttons on my refreshed M3 LR. It's not a big deal for me. Once in awhile I press wrong spot but from muscle memory I know where to press and thus I don't need to look away from the road.
Next time your in your car and you want to put your car in park there is an easier way instead of opening door it is so small yet so life altering😂 literally unbuckle seatbelt and that's it done it goes into park. It's literally that quick.
For your blind spot your car has the little light in the A pillar that will light up when a car is in your blind spot and will blink rapidly if you signal while a car is in blind spot and they still work if you don't initiate the turn signal.

its mostly a problem with us in europe specially a few countries where we have round abouts everywhere and in those its very diffucult to know which signal is which when ur wheel is turned and its way too much too think about that it actually makes it a bit dangerous bc we put the focus on that instead of avoiding crashes etc.

Tesla model 3 2022 is the best year to buy Tesla. The 2022 year has ultrasonic sensors, heat pump, that was added in 2021, Rizen updated chip that was implemented in 2022. They took away ultrasonic sensors in 2023.

I was excited to hear you really only supercharge as this is my way of charging and like you it is not an issue. I live in a condo and it will be several years until they are able to install chargers. My work should install them at end of year. I end up supercharging once a week and I charged in the morning when it is cheaper. It's only .21 / kWh. Because it's summer I only am losing like 35 mi of range. I only charge up to 85 and charge between 10-20 percent but because of hotter temps in Phoenix I charged at 2 percent and my cost was 14.07 total for month is 40 and next week around 54 which is still cheaper than my Corolla which would cost around 65-70 per month. I have no range anxiety as this car is spot on and the navigation is spot on with what time I will arrive and SOC. I have the refreshed M3 LR and my car is ridiculously fast , I'm even faster than a crotch rocket , true story. He even said man your car is fast!!! I said I know but this isn't even the performance 😂😂. I love this car. It puts a smile on my face every time I get inside. The minimalism and tech are amazing. I love no stalks , auto shift is amazing, taking off seatbelt puts car in park. I love the OTAs. My car feels even newer. I received the spring update and with just software I have an automatic opening trunk when approaching no hardware upgrade mind blown. I love Tesla and will only buy Tesla

I haven't been able to decide on a color, so I've been delaying my order for a week. When I look at Stealth Gray, it seems the most beautiful; when I look at Black, Black looks the best; and when I look at White, White looks the nicest. But now, after watching your video, I've decided to order White. Black is a very sexy color, but it looks too dirty if you don't wash it often, and Gray is too common. Couldn't agree more, I like the S buttons much more. They work much better being capacitive vs these physical ones. The Cyber Truck has a different set of mechanical switches that work nicer and feel a lot nicer too .
The blind spot monitoring is in the speaker grill now. It will be a red light when their is a vehicle in the blind spot. 🙂
That slot on the bottom where the metal plate slides into is for NHV for the doors. Talked to an advisor at Tesla about it, they did great. Doors sound solid now on closing.

I’m hearing the buttons on these M3P vehicles are an issue with all other owners. This isn’t good, Teslas needs to fix this or give us better steering wheels where we can easily feel for a turn signal. This could be very dangerous for some people & you can get a ticket for failure to signal. 🤦🏽‍♂️ The model S has better push buttons.

Nice review! I had a 2018 M3LR before the performance, and on the speedo i got used to it really fast. I like that i can position the steering wheel where i want and not have to account for looking through it to see speed. It'll be really apparent after you own yours for a while and then get in a rental -- the steering wheel will feel really high haha. On the turn signals, it's taking some getting used to but i like them ideally. Especially since I'm left handed, my driving hand is by those buttons anyways. But like you and Jacob, my buttons seem to stick often, either being harder to actuate or the sweet spot moving off the arrow graphic. I'm taking it in on Friday to have it looked at (along with a Homelink install), so hopefully they can address that. But in all this car is a well designed performance beast with an interior and sound system to match. Definitely the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. Keep up the great content, and looking forward to your track day

I own a Tesla Model 3 performance, 2023 and like the headlamps and stocks much more then the latest version. The fact that you can't rotate both tires because of the tire differences from front to rear. Is going to get expensive. I imagine buying two different size tires is going to be more expensive. I know the new model goes two tens faster 0-60, but you're really not going to notice it. My car flies like a rocket 0 to 60. I honestly would not trade it in for the new model. Though I do like what has come out with the new 3 performance!. I wonder if I can get a speed boost like the long range 3 got with the model 3 performance?

Great overview. I still feel the M3P needed the HUD to distinguish it from lesser models. And still no adjustable (via paddles) regenerative/1 pedal braking. It is either On or Off in a Tesla. And no V2L/V2G/V2H capability. A massive shame with such a big battery sitting there. An EV that is not as versatile as it could be. A much more competitive EV market now. Other brands can offer more. But they are not as efficient at this moment in time than Tesla. But they will get there soon.. And it still looks a bit boring in spite of the new front bumper design.

Things missing from Teslas that other EV cars have. Yo! It's 2024 folks!
    1. Front camera access while parking
    2. Working auto-wipers
    3. Pre-heating/cooling car
    4. iPhone/Apple Watch App
    5. Overhead 360 camera
    6. Ya'll complain about not having to deal with dealers, but you know what, I like accountability and if my BMW has issues, I know my dealership will take care of me and also serve me some hot food and drinks while I wait in a nice setting. Also, they can be reached by phone, and it's a person you're talking to. This whole do it through the app thing is sub-par for such a large purchase.
    7. Hotspot
    8. Auto and separate climate controls for driver passenger.
    9. Blind spot warning that's not a cheap-ass led that's hardly visible
    10. Garage door opener without paying extra. I mean come on! Really?
    11. Heads up display.
    12. Stalks, stalks, stalks! You can have your crappy buttons lol
    13. Quality paint jobs.
    14. A worry free purchase process that guarantees your car will not have defects.
    15. Navigation that has options, like avoid highways
    16. Apple Carplay, Android Auto
    17. Free charging, BMW gives you 2 years free.
    18. More buttons for basic things!
    19. Oh shit handle
    20. Light up door handles
Ya'll are so damn brainwashed with Elon's musk that you have willingly given up features that should be basic in 2024. You're buying one man's vision of what a car should be like, and not what the customer/consumer should be entitled to receive. I spent a month trying out all kinds of EVs and the only thing Tesla can claim is their 0-60 speed, which let's be honest, you won't be drag racing people in traffic or in real life. And even then, my i4 M50 does 0-60 in Sport+ in 3.3 seconds, plus it soothes you with Hans Zimmer sounds. Shit, even Kia is doing it better. There's no comparison anymore, and you can smell people who are still high on that Elon kool-aid a mile away, trying hard to convince people that it's ok to shell out 10's of thousands of dollars for a sub-par car with basic features. Not to mention ya'll are addicted to pain and going through a frustrating service center experience. Horror stories, and who wants to be left in the dark on what it's going to cost you to repair a car when the issues weren't even your fault. Look, do what you want with your money, but for all those looking to get into an EV for the first time, don't think Tethlas are the only option and really take the time to explore all other options. Ford, Volvo, Kia, Hyundai, BMW, VW, etc... All great traditional manufacturers who have caught up and offer a better experience. And lastly I will say one thing positive about Tesla. The only thing I enjoyed was the hassle-free demo drive experience. That is the one thing traditional dealerships should take note. Walk in, demo, leave, without any pressure.

Great list! Teslas do have some of these things like preheating/cooling and passenger climate control, but still great feedback

    • @user-os1nh7xq1z
      @user-os1nh7xq1z 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lets go through your list:
      1. I have a front camera
      2. My wipers work fine
      3. I have preheating and cooling
      4. I have an iPhone app
      5. I dont have a 360 camera but I have a 3D image render of my surroundings. perfect? No. Does the job I need? Yes
      6. Dealers are stealers! Tesla come to my home to do basic stuff like tire rotation, cabin filter changes, small maintenance jobs etc. I just paid $1500 for a scheduled service on my ICE. Standard service. Yikes Audi and Yikes BMW. Rip off money.
      7. Hotspot? Why? My phone is a hotspot.
      8. I have separate climate controls and auto function.
      9. Blind spot works just fine. Cheap ass LED? Every car uses LED for blind spot warning! I don't need or want a blinding light as I know how to drive and position my mirrors correctly!
      10. Many manufacturers charge extra for garage openers. I personally don't use it as I use Apple HomeKit, and it detects when I am arriving at my home from my phone and opens and closes my garage doors. Zero cost.
      11. Heads up display is not required. Not all EVs/ICEs have this. Nice to have? Maybe. Worth additional cost? Nah.
      12. I don't need stalks. Buttons are easy. Stalks to me now look old fashioned.
      13. My paint finish is just as good as any other car in my opinion. No problems at all in my previous white Tesla not my current Ultra Red.
      14. The purchase process could not be easier. You get to inspect your car BEFORE accepting it. No issues at all and certainly no worries!
      15. I agree this would be a nice addition but it does have options like avoid tolls.
      16. Apple CarPlay is not something I miss. I have Apple Music but CarPlay Maps sucks.
      17. BMW give you free charging because they desperately need to sell more of their sucky beaver-toothed cars! LOL
      18. No more buttons needed thanks!
      19. No issues with handle AFAIAC
      20. Never ever had an issue with not knowing where door handles are!
I think it is a case of you just being anti Tesla if you bring up this factually incorrect (most of the time) list. You then give it away when you say you have a BMW i4 M50. That is a $20k additional cost compared to the Tesla Model 3 Performance. Hans Zimmer sounds? LOL. You sound as though you have HUGE buyers remorse by actually creating this list (which in most cases was completely incorrect!). As for pain with service centers..it is exactly the same with stealers, oops dealers. I run 2 ICE cars (each one over $100k) as well and they are very expensive to keep on the roads. I guarantee your regular service on your BMW to keep the warranty will cost you an arm and a leg compared to a Tesla.
I am happy you enjoy your BMW but it is kind of strange that a happy BMW owner would create a list like this. I would imagine only unhappy owners would do this as a way to try and justify paying $20k more for a slower car. Your car also has HALF the cargo space as a Model 3 and no frunk at all. OUCH for road trips!
