To add on to the lock and unlock, if you’re inside and need to lock the doors or unlock them (for someone to enter) there’s a lock icon in the top of the screen. Took me a few days to find that. New Tesla owner for 2 weeks now.
my favorite way is to click my door’s open button as i’m approaching the person i’m picking up. if you’re moving and click the button it unlocks the car!! so if you remember as you’re pulling in you can just click it without looking, super useful

Also there's plenty of superchargers and free charging stations but you just have to know where... Definitely apartment friendly. I live in an apartment myself and got it, it just more cost efficient and a very nice car in general... Take the Tesla Plunge lol

Just picked up an M3LR AWD recently after owning many ICE cars and previously an EV6. Tesla far surpasses all EVs on the market today for it's pricepoint. Still love my specific ICE cars but Tesla is a great utility, everyday driver. The perfect combo to me right now is the Model 3 LR for daily and my 911 Turbo S for weekend and performance.
If you wear sunglasses with FSD, you can scroll the "scroll wheel" instead of putting the pressor on the searing wheel. I tell people it's like a remote-controlled car. When you let off the stick to make it move, the car starts stopping.
To power the car off put in park open controls, go to safety scroll to the bottom, you'll see the power off option open door before powering off once doo opens it turns back on

If there is a car in the lane next to me it doesn’t stop for lights… perhaps I’m just not brave enough to wait for it to begin slowing down. It will always brake and stop if there is a car directly in front of you. Then it will go again once they start moving again.

I figured out the difference for “park”. If you have your foot on the break it will ask for a tap and if you don’t it will ask you to hold it down.

Most of Tesla advanced features are Beta. You are fully responsible for any accidents during FSD, Autopilot, or Smart Summon. To mention a few.

Summon is a thing, but it's far from perfect. Newest 3's don't have that.
