@@csick11 they list that figure on their website that does not mean that's what they average. Companies use numbers like that from unique situations to lure candidates in. I went from this to soda and it both sucks. Soda you put away and stock shelves. But there’s no digging. Food service is extremely hard work a lot of 12 hour days and 14’s and quick 10 hour turns around if your a floater or do not have a route. Beverage doesn’t pay enough either but some days I have 8 hrs and now that the weather getting nice I work 12’s but weekends off. Even if the money was great it’s not good. Cases on wrong pallets , every day , electric pallet jac only for the older workers , for you pump jack ! , wen you finish they ask you to go and help the lazy guy, you go to warehouse at 4 am be working until 5 o 6 , when you new Avery day new route. And on and on …..

Have you seen the price of living in Seattle and the surrounding areas there's a reason this location pays that much
@comment5398 nah 92k is more than enough to live in seattle! Especially when the job doesn't require a degree! Yes the cost of living is high but you can live comfortably with that salary
@@csick11 they list that figure on their website that does not mean that's what they average. Companies use numbers like that from unique situations to lure candidates in. For example they could have lost a lot of workers through turnover and had a few workers work insane amount of hours to get close to those types of numbers.
Do they have cameras faces inside the Sysco trucks ?
Yeah most food service do
Do you know if they hire people in the SAP program?
Use the ramp lol 😂 you have room inside the trailer
I turned them down twice.
I'm going to need a cocktail of 500mg of Testosterone Cyphionate, 50mg of dbol plus one ball of coke to be capable of doing that job.
Which terminal you work at sir
I went from this to soda and it both sucks. Soda you put away and stock shelves. But there’s no digging. Food service is extremely hard work a lot of 12 hour days and 14’s and quick 10 hour turns around if your a floater or do not have a route. Beverage doesn’t pay enough either but some days I have 8 hrs and now that the weather getting nice I work 12’s but weekends off. Even if the money was great it’s not good. Because you pay with your body. All your stops should be separated. Easy part is driving the truck. Down steps up steps. Basements tight coolers and freezers. Buisness know they are getting a delivery but don’t make it easy for you to get to there coolers and freezers
Hey brother, been selecting for 5 years now. Interested in going to trans and driving. How hard is it? Training and the job And all? Appreciate any response my man. 🤙
Yo! It’s not hard at all. You Just have to have the mind set to get it done.
@@thefoodtruckingguyld3352 That's what I do everyday, your mind control everything.
Do they pay good
@@thefoodtruckingguyld3352 This response just made me subscribe! I love POSITIVITY in food service because I barely see it.
It’s all mental bro. Like any job it’s going to b bad days and good days. I use to b a order selector at us foods for a year and a half I’m a driver at Sysco now. To me driving isn’t as physical. I came off the road before I got hired at Sysco so I had gotten out of shape but when I started it wasn’t that hard. Some stops might get tiring depending if you gotta go upstairs or if they get alot of heavy meat but overall it’s not bad. Just stay positive and motivated you’ll like it
I have an interview for them but I have a class D felon on my record from 2016 do they hire felons ?
👍🏽
Very often Organized that’s funny you should bring a shovel with you because the name of the game is to dig
I have 10 years experience in driving. am I eligible for this company. I'm out of Canada.
How much do they pay
Trying to get hired
Good
Thank you. Keep watching for more content.
Man Sysco horrible bro I’m here now
Do they put new guys on nights?
Cool
Do Sysco hire sap drivers
Well I'm going to Sysco from McLane don't really see a difference
Anyone work for Sysco in Dallas area is it teamsters union and what’s the hourly pay thanks in advance
So do they work only night shift?
The shuttle drivers do the rout drivers start at like 3 am
How to apply for the job bro??
Most Sysco don’t have lift gate. Or that thing that move the pallets. They have a ramp that’s heavier than Mike Tyson. And you got to constantly slide it in and out of the truck.Their ramps are soo primitive……
And if it does have a liftgate there's a good chance that the liftgate won't work right (in my experience)
In North California. Most Food Service companies have lift gates.
Nice video, I am interested in Sysco in my area. I did food service in the past so I know the drill, however I was much younger then. I am 52 in decent shape what are your thoughts? I have 27 years CDL class A experience most as an owner operator. Thanks
U better leave it alone
At 52? Nahh
Does anyone know if they hire sap drivers? Someone please answer. Thanks in advance
Idk about that but they'll hire someone who has a dui over 3 yrs old, not sure if they go by convct date or arrest date though
Do they hire sap drivers ?
Don't go into this type of business. You will not enjoy it or get paid good enough. It's long hours and hard work. So many people involved to make your day longer and more frustrating.
Way to be negative
How about, instead of "way to be negative", being, thanks for being honest
@@ericmorris5860 way to be negative
Honesty isn't negativity
I work 1 year for Cheney brother , as you say every buddy is work hard on making you day harder , the loader load the truck wrong every day! Cases on wrong pallets , every day , electric pallet jac only for the older workers , for you pump jack ! , wen you finish they ask you to go and help the lazy guy, you go to warehouse at 4 am be working until 5 o 6 , when you new Avery day new route. And on and on …..
They just offered me $30 an hour in little rock
They just offered me 32.80 in California
Class B in SoCal they offered me $22/hr to start. 😕
@@elyl78well it’s class b…
@@Norrr3 there's usually not that much of a difference between the pay rate of class A and Class B drivers at the same companies. Definitely not a $10 an hour ish difference.
@@elyl78 every place I’ve been it’s a big difference.
😷🙂
They check dac or psp
You gotta put the food up in the freezers or coolers thought that was the job of the restaurant staff
I work for Sysco we deliver early in the morning they close, but gives a key to go inside there business. So we have to put it in freezer/cooler
No helper?
Do you have to wear these uniforms?
And what time do you normally start and end your day on average ? And what are your thoughts on all the people complaining about the job ? Is it as bad as these quitters say?
Yes indeed uniform is mandatory as soon as it is issued to you. Job is tough it will make a man out of you and also earn every penny. For all the hardships you will face every day you got to adapt to the situation and overcome. In the end your paycheck at the end of the week will make you forget all about it 😜
@@fordfanatic3307 Can a woman do this job? I have 3 yorkies I'm not willing to give up and need a home daily cdl a job since I can't take them all over the road. I have 8 years factory experience. Any suggestions?
@@spillingtees313 Yes absolutely women can do the job but it is a very fatiguing and tiring as well as stressful. I would suggest a company that has local daily truckload routes were you can be home every night and possibly still take your dogs with you. There are a lot of companies starving for drivers right now and the ball is in your court.
@@fordfanatic3307 thank you. I believe I just got hired in working for a food delivery company making drops at speedway convenience stores. I hope I can handle it.
