Thanks man, informational vid.
Thanks bro for content and useful information! 👍☮️
No problem🙌🏾
Great video man, thanks for the info. Here in my area (Central Florida), and I can only speak from my experience, it’s very difficult if you’re new. Not a bunch have been willing. Only only solid leads have been Swift and Knight
Im in Orlando as well and i can vouch for this comment. I dont wanna go OTR
Good vid🔥
Why you sound like Cassidy tho?! 😂😂😂
Was boutta comment this 😂😂
The Bars are here 🤣!
My dog house got a backyawd 😂😂😂
Almost to 100 subscribers bro
Only way to go is up🙌🏾
easiest way to get a job with no experience is by shunting, shunting trailers for a company is better than OTR in my opinion, your paid by the hour,12 hour shifts and home every night, back in the 90s and early 2000s otr trucking was cool but now it sucks
Is that similar to what yard jockeys do? If so that’s how I even got started on the path of getting my CDL
Food service really not that bad. I work for Cheney. I don't love it but I don't hate it. It's just about learning the products. The more you know the products the better it is and the speed will come. Food service is the best local trucking jobs but like homie said it is physical but it can be done.
I applied to Sysco last week here in the San Diego area. Just got my CDL about 2 weeks ago with no work experience, I got rejected tho.. I guess they aren’t as desperate as they were before
So I applied to Pepsi & CocaCola this week but still haven’t heard anything from them, I’m hoping for call back from someone soon
The wait is killing me 🙄
Try Schneider
@@jtrell4297 No! 😂
Any update on your job hunting?
I’m in Cali just like you. Everybody out this way on bullshit when you fresh out school.
I applied for Sysco here in San Antonio and they seem like they fuxking with me I just graduated in May but you ain’t lying this shit is nerve wrecking also was told Trans System accepted me too I ain’t going to no company that does hair follicle testing either
Yea them Amazon is a great local start. Even doing regional is not bad.
Yeah definitely a nice gig when getting your foot in the door to gain some experience and to be home every night.
There’s a difference in City driving and otr.. usually local runs require about 2 years of experience since there’s more traffic and obstacles to maneuver around.
I’ve noticed the requirements are different, there’s still companies that will take you on with at least 6 months experience locally.
Prime is 50,000 miles of training. TMC flatbed is best starter when i did my research fresh out of school if u hustle u can make 86k first year or more. But ur going be put for 4 to 6 weeks even tho the tell u 2 weeks out then weekend off. Prime if u can get pass that 50k is great company pay is top notch too.
I’ve don’t flatbed for a month with a stone company it wasn’t that bad, It’s something I would consider and recommend as well.
No experience required = We will rip you off
Do it for the experience not for a lifetime
@@PEEK_5lol screw that underpaying new guys just because they new is crazy
Why dont you start hiring new guys at hirer rates then? 😂@@eyob4794
@@eyob4794yeah you have to work your way up we all did it! New guys are a risk they don’t know how to drive!
every year of experience gained is worth money in it of itself
I recently started my new cdl job but it took me 7 months to land my job after cdl school I live in GA
Where …? I’m in Ga and am thinking about getting my cdl but waiting 7 months to find a job is crazy I thought they’d be hiring like crazy
*No Experience
NCI - 6 months but offers (Student Program)
PFG (Performance food group) offers (student program)
Coca Cola
Gordon Food
Sysco
6 months experience
US Food
OTR No Experience
Schneider
Prime
3-6 months experience
Transam
Fastenal, core mark, SFS Foods hire no experience and under 21 100% correct its not the company its their insurance provider that determines whether they can hire you. Local crane companies hire too good pay I was hired at 18 in 2022 no experience saw lots of cool stuff
I started at Gordon food service with no experience and I’m have a four day work week grossing $2000 weekly it is very hard work even though I go to the gym regularly and I’ve been training mixed martial arts for years you’ll definitely want to quit at times but or no experience the money is there especially for being local
Nice man I’m 22 Monday morning got a meeting to start my 4 week program 160 hour training for my cdl. I train martial arts too and getting in the best shape possible . Let’s go!!
@@kevinkordzadze7654 good shit!! Hope everything goes well for you
Thanks for the info 👍.
You're disciplined ‼️ You can handle it I'll be getting my CDL license, this fall.
You getting wheel time (experience). and that will be able to.. move on, to better driving opportunities. Best thing is after the Elections,...... Reverse all the stupid Political decisions 😡, that put our economy in a tailspin. Stay safe out there 🛣️.
@@RomulanWarbirdDecloaking-sd2ir thank you! I keep telling myself im not going to be here forever but its a good opportunity for someone thats new and willing to work. Hopefully freight get better and i can get my own truck next year. Good luck to you
@@RomulanWarbirdDecloaking-sd2ir trump put us in a tailspin nut
Been applying everywhere but no luck including Coca Cola finished back in November
I can feel your frustration it’s definitely tough, you would think once you get the CDL your opportunities are endless, but don’t give up keep looking you will eventually land something
@@rydewithty it is fustrating , despite adding hazmats and tanker and double triple endorsement it’s not enough 😡😡
Amazon be blowing my phone up but I got 6 years experience. No way I’d drive for 23/hr. Prime is an okay place to start for OTR. I say okay because it comes down to who your trainer is as there isn’t a streamlined way of training over there. Everyone has their own methods and not all of them work.
Yeah man $23 isn’t worth it, I get more than that but this is just to get my experience in anyways. I did hear Prime is a good starter for OTR but I don’t want to go OTR I’m staying local for now
@@rydewithty I know with AFP it depends on the area as far as pay goes but those cats still be holding on to the money. Here in KC, they start at like 23-26/hr. A recruiter called me up talking that mess and I got her right off my phone
Good video bro. Do you have to sign a contract to drive those amazon trucks locally with no experience?
I believe if they pay for your CDL because I signed a 6 month contract because they paid for my CDL school.
Well, I am in ct. And even if you have a cdl but no experience, they are still telling you that you have to sign a 9 months contract smh if u want the job..
New subbie. From Kenya 🇰🇪
Welcome, thanks for the support 🙏🏾
WEL Companies hires new drivers with a CDL. They are out of De Pere, Wi (Green Bay)
I spoke with a recruiter and the training is 3 to 4 months 😢
@@M.Dawg.Thuggin it is. They have three parts: class/range, OTR trainer, and then Cteaming (not teaming but running the truck with another trainee who has been with an OTR trainer until you reach 25k mi. Def longer but worth it. I went thru training and it was only 5.5 wks back in 2012. When I got done I was green as can be! Seems long but prepares you better.
REPENT AND FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST BEFORE ITS TOO LATE 🔴JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY HOPE 🔴
Why don’t you repent and stfu? I’m sick of this garbage. Get help brother. You aren’t well
Do one put for under 21
You can get a job but alot of them are willing to really school you.
Most want at minimum 3 months experience. It’s tough to land a job with no experience at but that due to insurance not the company itself.
i just came to look at his fitted, shits fire af.
Appreciate it 🙌🏾
Its tough because how else do we get the experience they want?!
Right! They claim to want/need drivers but also want only experienced ones it’s a catch 22
Wow
Do these companies accept from abroad without experience?
I know it's related to other things, but is it even possible?
You can get hired you will just have to obtain certain employment documents and any other documents required. I’m not that familiar with it so try googling you can find more information there. Good luck!
Western Express, Swift, TMC, Stevens Transport
Steven’s Transport requires 3 months, I spoke with a recruiter there
@@rydewithty if you are fresh out of school they will hire you though. Then you spend 3 months with them afterwards if choose to stay with them you can, if not you leave but you leave experience that you can take anywhere.
@@rydewithty by the way I start with Stevens Transport next month and I’m fresh out of CDL school
Western express is shit, TMC flatbed is great starter company pay is great. It's where I went for first year of my career but it's hard work.
@@xavcuttinoakatheinspiratio4353 I’ve considered them but the OTR is not what I really want to do but good luck! Come back in a few months and lmk your experience there
What company will hire at 18 years old ?
EPES is a great company
Did he say 9 bad trucking companies that hire with no experience?
Gotta start somewhere😂🤷🏾♂️
My man sounds like Kendrick
First time I heard that one😂
Bro took 2 min and 30 seconds just to get to the point lol
I do be rambling a lot lol
PRIME wants 6 months at least for me out of florida
Yeah, there were some changes made to the requirements
Gotta go to a company that runs reefer
Not only that my brother, you have call these recruiters as well to get your Information, listen at the end of day i want be the best I can be
With reefer, you need hazmat, some companies want doubles/triples and hazmats, mannn I'm like dam that's a lot
@@bigdaddyrick4481 you don’t need hazmat to drive reefer trucks. Reefers are just refrigerated trucks. That’s what I drive and I don’t have hazmat.
Thanks for telling me the companies that i tried to apply to said that you need a hazmat, why do the applications said one thing and the companies said another, that's false advertising for job or position
You sound a rapper. Actually you sound like the rapper Migu who used to rap with Timberland and Missy or Cory Gunz . Did you also used to be a rapper?
I see why you say that I can hear it a little too😂 but I actually did use to rap, I stopped rapping a few years ago
Ahh migoooo my times
corey gunns fasho.. good ear victoria
I hear cassidy too
@@coreyj.7776 I heard Cassidy before lol
It took me 5 months to finally land
Who you drive with?
Is Coca Cola considered experience for OTR
Some companies will count that as driving experience towards your OTR experience
Please if you any company they take new student let know please 🙏
Try Prime
avoid Welfare Express at all costs!
@nathanguillen5139 thats the name for western express
Amen
Any second chance company going be shit for real.
😅 I thought swift was bad
@@dfaro8453 it is. but at Welfare Express, they get em fresh from the penitentiary
Please do not say Amazon, I have applied two times and got turned down twice, and i work and drive for Amazon. I just say the states may vary my brother
I reiterated twice in this video that it may vary depending on your state and to call and do research upon applying. But that sucks, good luck on your job search I hope you find something soon bro
@rydewithty Good afternoon my, I'm looking for advice not going back and forward over a comment, I doing research everyday, yes I'm in Florida, the problem is these companies say one thing, when you apply it turns out to another, how a company gonna say no experience to drive for the company and turn around and sat you need experience, even when you apply for cdl student and you have the cdl license they don't call or give you the run around, especially Amazon
@@bigdaddyrick4481 It’s definitely hard for us new drivers bro, I don’t know much about Florida so I can’t really tell you but I do hear that food service are more open to new drivers & students straight out of school but it varies.
Prime yes the other one no
Correct prime will hire you, but if you have a moving violation like red light camera tickets, prime will not hired you, company policy is they have to wait one year and then you can reapply again
Tyson food is a good company as well but they very racially bias
Oh hell naw🙅🏾♂️
How you get on with amazon? I have my cdl a. I need to be local I'm a single father.
I tell how I got with Amazon
