I grew up eating pickled eggs and pickled onions, my dad was English !
I didnt think I needed this type of video but I love them now!
I’m allergic to peanuts but can eat peanut oil because the oil no longer has the protein that causes the allergic reaction.
I raised 4 children and was very frugal. The kids are grown and I am still frugal....I love finding a good deal when grocery shopping even now with just my husband and I. I read all ingredient labels too. It made me laugh when you showed the 35 lbs. of peanut butter. Thank you for sharing this!!!
I still have my sturdy Panpered Chef Pizza Cutter for ten years....pizza, pita, biscuit, cookie bar cutter. My grandmother's kitchen was filled with restaurant supply mugs, dishes, utensils and huge pots for her huge family and Sunday suppers for 20-30 people. Torani syrups are great for ice cream, yogurts, cake and cookie baking as well as for drinks.
Love these grocery videos and eating while watching 🤌🏽
I adore the Winco Cleaver I got from there. Dirt cheap, robust, weighty, and made of stainless steel. You can't beat it.
I even picked up their 8" Chef's Knife bc I was so impressed.
This video is the only reason why I know this store exists O:
Benji, my husband and I were just talking about how we wish you could one day appear on a show like Master Chef or Next Level Chef or even Chopped!
We have US Foods Chef store here in Dallas but I’ve never gone inside. Now I need to😀
My dad loved the old cash and carry stores. He hated buying stuff from grocery stores and rarely did.
Would love to see an Aldi shop. See how you would rate the food and what you would get.
Unfortunately we don't have Aldi's here in the PNW :(
clarified butter = ghee
I sure do hope I can locate one of these stores near me!!
My parents used to shop at Cash and carry in the seventies. They had to present a business license to shop there.
wait until you find about the restaurant store , it’s mainly on the east coast but very similar concept
Sysco foods has something similar. they are a competor to US Foods. Just check your area for one.
Did you spot the Cyber Truck? In a store like this, the people picking up stuff for a restaurant would come in the morning and be doing so quickly as they have other stuff to do. I think there are other versions of these around; I know my sister-in-law got a bunch of food for a re-wedding they had, and they do a lot of the cooking for their large family events.
Refilling tapatio bottles on the table, you're welcome.
Wish there was one in Springfield Mo or poplar bluff Mo, maybe some day!
Not sure where you are but down south we can get 5 gallon bottles of LouAnn peanut oil. It’s what we use to deep fry turkeys.
They would use the really big bottle of Tapatio (better value per litre’ to fill up their smaller bottles they will have sat on the table (smaller nicer bottles at a higher cost per litre)
That is the same with the kikomann, they will also probably put it in a smaller container then using it to cook but will also fill up containers on tables
I don’t know why I don’t see more people shopping at restaurant supply stores, especially the large family vloggers. After 30+ years in the restaurant business, I guess it seems more normal to me. It’s definitely worth it to investigate what your area has to offer in the way of these types of purveyors. My area also has a produce purveyor that not only sells cases of produce to restaurants, but also breaks up the cases and sells to the public for incredibly cheap and the variety is fantastic. I agree that this is a great way to equip your kitchen if you want to skip the thrift stores.
I once worked at a british fish and chip shop and the owner always used peanut oil. His food was the best
Hahaha who edits the videos 🤣 Benji a Blue Curacao is used for many different cocktails and mocktails .... a AMF is a Adios motherF 😂
Love these videos by the way Benji. I also love the vlogs I've been a long time viewer of the vlog chanel from 2010.
Huge fan! Much love from Australia 🇦🇺
We go here often because my husband works for US FOODS as a delivery driver so we get a discount 🤑 Loved watching your picks , now I have a list for this weekend 😝
Thanks Benji. I never knew there is a store like that. Dedicated to restaurants.
Hell yeah it’s a great store!
Love watching these videos! Not a shopping related question but is there anything special you do to clean your utensils/cookware after cooking chicken? I have a fear of touching raw chicken and cross contamination. So I totally use cooking gloves and disinfect during/after cooking and wash things with scalding hot water. Are there any other tips you would recommend or do you just use the regular ol' sponge and dish soap?
Those cold foams are meant to go on top of coffee they are coffee flavoured whipped cream! Juat got some at aldis can't wait to try!❤
Hi Benji my parents own a restaurant and we use it to refill the little bottles 😂
Not sure if you have them near you benji but it does require a membership but check out a restaurant depot sometime. Snag a chef with a card and go
That store has alot of goodies! The syrup isle is insane! Lol if u drink u know what blue Curacao is😂
You can check all prices before you go on the web , you can see all prices for things before you even go
Omg you should do Aldi
Monins lavendar is an amazing flavor mix with gin
Thank you for referencing peanut allergies.
I just googled this place and I have one 6 miles away from my house.. I am definitely checking this place out.
Movie theatre popcorn always gives me a headache when I eat it so I haven't has it for many years now.
Our house is in Illinois and the closest store is in Oklahoma....we're going 😁
For the syrups, did you see if they carry Bossen syrups for boba?
Benji can u give us a video on diff spare rib or short ribs marinades pls
What about IKEA? I know that place can be overwhelming but I think they have some cooking supplies.
Where im from (Victoria BC Canada) we have a store called the wholesale ckub and alot of restaurant people go there
The Costco executive membership fee can be covered by the executive rebate check and credit card reward. So it can be more of a pro if u spend a lot at costco throughout the year.
“35lbs of peanut butter” sent me😂
Monin is used widely in Italian coffee and gelato shops.
Frying in peanut oil on your deck or garage went out like 10-15 years ago
35 pounds of peanut butter had me dying
Lol the carts are so small
Yes i love resturaunt quality stuff why not they are meant to last! That bell is too good! Welcome to benjiman tv diner can i take your order? Order up ding! 🛎🎉❤
To refill the small bottles of tapatio. Saving money at their restaurant.
I wish there was one go these close to me
The seperation of the popcorn oil is because coconut oil is often a solid at room temperature. So below 75 ish degrees it would be a solid
The Cloverdale hot dogs are great so big I definitely recommend these stores are a great place to shop if you have a large family
The solid at the bottom is probably the coconut oil since it is solid at room temperature. that's my guess. I worked at a movie theater a million years ago and we had a huge bucket of the oil for the machine and it had a heater to melt the solids so it could pump the oil in the popper hopper. The machines that they use to squirt "butter flavor" on is also heated to keep it melted so it can squirt appropriately.
Wish they were here in south Florida
What is Matt's Utube channel call? I really enjoy watching all of yours.
Good video. Great information. 👏🏾👍🏽😊
Hei Benji those syrups are for cocktailes fyi, monin is the best one an curacao blue mixed with vodka and lime juice 1/1/1 is the best kamikaze drink 👌👌
This is a good place to shop for many items. But most meat prices (sausages) are not quite as good as Walmart and you don't have to buy 5 pounds. Rice is a lot cheaper at Walmart.
US chiefs is the third name since I've been shopping there.
Me too
That's my husbands company
$10 per lb for ribeye is not a good deal when going to a meat market/butcher. Atleast here in cali
Let’s goo new vid ❤
The chef store looks really cool! Great recommendation 🤗
If you're a home chef, this is your store. I've been shopping there for 45yrs or so, most of the items that it takes for great meals.
better than COSTCO?!?!
Costco is not for business Restaurant Depot is the best for businesses
Canola oil is sooo bad for u! Omg
Great vlog, thank you. 💖
Why did you get the bell?
To ring your partner when the meal is ready, or you need a dessert brought to you....
Get ready for ANOTHER name change. It's coming. It will always be cash n carry to me lol
💖💖💖🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🙏🙏🙏
God Bless po ❤❤❤
Your videos are great but $16.89 is not "only 16 bucks". LOL
Better than Costco?? The store is empty !! You're the only one there! Looks like it fully stock, because no one is buying anything.
It’s my private chef store
