Did not work for me, maybe because I was also having to jumpstart the car. The fix was pulling the 30 amp fuse under the hood for the starter, afterwhich I was able to jumpstart the car. When I was able to swap out the battery with a new one the anti-theft deterrent was again activated and the car wouldn't start so I pulled the same 30 amp fuse for the starter as before, put it back and the car started no problem
I'm not sure if this fixed the problem as I tried multiple solutions... But one solution was to take the cap off the driver door...use the actual key unlock door and hold for like 30 seconds... then try to start it... that worked for me.. I also put my key fob in the small part in the arm rest for when the key gob battery dies... and at the dame time I was jumping the car... I know it's a lot but that's what worked for me.. I tried the key fob in the arm rest and jumping and that didn't work by itself...
Hello. I had such a problem. Chevy impala 2014 did not start intermittently. The ignition clicked, the anti-theft mode turned on. The problem was in attaching the battery ground wire to the car body. The nut was badly tightened from the factory! The connection got very hot and that was the problem. Look for it along the path of the ground wire from the battery.

I have a question im having same problem and Chevy is trying to charge me so much money.. $110 to tow $200 to take the theft thing off.. I need help
