I love when even family friendly/accessible games like this include at least a tiny bit of extra hard, optional content for the people who like a challenge to get some of that sweet, sweet satisfaction. The feeling that comes from finally beating it after a half hour of it kicking your butt is so rewarding.
Splashing sprint was a nightmare! hardest of all the side levels/lost levels or whatever they’re called. I legit had to have a break then go back to it fell like I was going insane 😂
Looks easier than some of the other lost levels but much longer so thats probably for the best given lack of checkpoints, i juat unlocked it but my controller is about to die so hopefully i can clear it once its charged up a bit
Took about 2 hours of attempts but I got it, id say there's about 2 difficultish parts and the rest is just being consistent without any silly mistakes.
When i rescued my last bot, the one in To the beat level, i thought im gonna find some delicious prize on the top of the statue. Well i didnt expect another challenge, im telling you. Still got to beat this one to get my plat.

Nah, it's the challenges that make you a better player. The game has content that my littlest kid can do as well as harder content for myself and my biggest kid.
They made unlocking all of the content and beating the game fairly accessible and easy to do. Some of the last challenge mission can be hard, and if it's not for you - that's okay. The Platinum Trophy in a game is meant to be exceptionally difficult to get so having it means something.

These levels were meant to be a serious step up from the base game for those looking for the challenge. That’s why they are optional. If you think this is too hard then you should try completing Super Mario 3D World.
Some of the void levels I found to be fun and worth my time even though I had to go back to the beginning multiple times due to a silly mistake or bad timing with the hazards, yet there were a few where I thought that they had taken the thing too far so that a hazard became only passable if you had perfect accuracy and muscle memory. As of writing this last level is the only one that I haven’t finished and the closest I got to completion was the fire lizard managing to kill me with a fireball just as I killed it.

Had 4 void levels left to climb the golden statue and now I see once I go thru that the prize is just another hard level to beat? Ok no thanks now I’m happy to trade it in at game stop.

Not that hard to be honest, sure it's a single try and no Checkpoint, but it's also not a Time Trial so we can progress through it slowly and calmly. Sackboy's "String it Together" Trophy was a real pain to deal with, for those who never played it: in comparison to Astro bot you had to clear every single PlayStation Shape Challenges in a single run + less than 10 Min Time Trial... It took me +4 hours to be able to clear that thing 😖
Yeah I don't understand that either. I've been searching everywhere for info about this and can't find anything. But starting today 10-17-24 we got speed run levels added. By getting "building speed" completed in under 45 seconds you get 2 more bots.

To increase your bot count to 304, you have to rescued 4 special bots from Astro’s Playroom. Once you rescue them, they will appear in this game. Hope this helps.

I enjoyed this game but the game would've been better off without levels like this i got all but the golden bot and the one on splashing sprint i tried for 3 hours and can only get halfway. Edit: I literally just got the golden bot and the bot on the splashing sprint you just gotta take a break when you're on a solid standing point then take your time and learn from your misstep from before

Took me about 75 minutes to complete, but felt so accomplished once I did.
I have a major skill issue on this one 😂 beat all the others collected everything along the way. But this. Nah. Im going to bed. Got work tomorrow 😅

Definitely a good challenge took me about an hour or so it’s nowhere near some of the most challenging platformer levels like Eggmanland
It was really worth it to find out who the special Gold Bot is!!
This is probably the best final challenge I’ve seen in a 3D platformer. Very satisfying to complete.
Honestly, this level is so difficult that I die every now and then.
It’s like a much easier version of the challenge level (I forgot the name of it) in Super Mario 3D World on Switch.

Took me atleast an hour for this it was frustrating at some points but it was fun.
Holy fucking hell some of these missions were brutal, besides these levels the game was basically perfect, NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER! 😂
