Nidhog is actually more a pun than a character reference. Nidhogg (also written as Níðhöggr) is a giant snake/dragon said to gnaw on the root of the world tree in Norse mythology. There is a Nidhogg in God of War, but it is not an actual hog. Cute idea for a boss though.
Would love to see more Astrobot content!! There’s so much to talk about on this game, especially when the news is so dry regarding the next 3D Mario and Switch 2, there’s really nothing more to say about either of those now! Would love to see more rankings, reviews, DLC ideas, etc of Astrobot!
Thank you for making this! I forgot about some of these bosses and seeing them again made me relive the moment of trying to beat them! Incredible game and I’d highly recommend it to everyone who owns a PS5!🎉

I played this game and honestly this might be my favorite video game of all time, my favorite type of game are platformers and this game has everything I could have wanted and stuff I didn’t know I needed, better than any Mario game I’ve ever played.
Very cool to see you branch out! Makes me long to see you cover a multi-platform/3rd party game if you are ever dry on content…Tunic is pretty amazing for example
My friend let me borrow his PS5 for the week so I could play this game and I've spent the past 3 days straight doing nothing else. It's one of my new favorites for sure! I'm normally not super into boss fights and just see them as a roadblock, but some of the Astro Bot bosses were really fun. This one game has me kind of wanting a PS5; it takes full advantage of all of the console and controller's features, so I finally get why things like adaptive triggers are a selling point! I'll definitely wait till it's less than $500, though.

Nin10doland you told us to try this game which I really want to but I just can't because I don't have a PlayStation and will not be able to buy one for 500 especially when I am trying to save up for Nintendo Switch 2. This game does look really fun and I am still going to watch the video
Fun fact: Astro bot rescue mission had a very similar final boss where you had to use every ability and shoot things thrown at you by space bully nebulax (Yes the alien is the villian in that game too)
The final boss of this game was so hard for me because I was a child and when I started my gaming career I start making these videos well for some reason I think space nebulax should be at number one I got to say

Not gonna lie, I was super confused by the peg leg skeleton mini boss cus I 100% the game and never fought him. Turns out I got the secret ending of the level after also collecting all bots and puzzle pieces 😂
