- If you're wondering where and how to start with rolling fasts, let's discuss various fasting methods and practical tips to make fasting work for you. My goal isn't just to share my weight loss journey but to empower you with knowledge and strategies for successful and sustainable fasting practices.
I fast for 48- 60 hours, eat 1,200 calories while working out, and have healthy lean calories for a day, maybe two, then fast again. Once I have abs, I'm bulking. God bless anyone wanting a healthier life. One day at a time .
I finally started back on my rolling fast journey. It's the most effective for me to lose the weight while feeling good. It also has helped me change my relationship with food. I'm at the end of my first rolling fast, 82 hours in so I have 10 more hours until I hit my goal.
I've incorporated cardio and lifting into my routine and I feel like the weight loss is quicker. I was feeling hungry yesterday and I think it's because I've been working out during my fasts so I drank some coffee with HWC and it doesn't seem to have effected my weight loss.
I've lost about 90 lbs so far on my fasting journey and I still have about 70 more pounds to go. I'm excited that FINALLY I know that I'm going to get to my goal.
Fasting has the only thing that has worked for me. It's also simple and so much easier than calorie counting. I NEVER EVER could calorie count to save my life.
Plus fasting has changed my relationship with food. I can bake and not even want to taste or eat any of what I've baked, which I think is incredible to me. Or if I say I want one cookie, I'll eat one cookie. Nothing more. Like who am I right now?!
When doing back to back fast how long is your eating window?
How long did it take you to loose the first 90lbs?
As an experienced prolonged faster, I have to say that for weight loss, a cycle of 24-48-72-90s is perfect… choose your options wisely and start slow.
Women tend to struggle more due to our hormones so choosing days right after your monthly cycle is advisable due to cravings.

Most people can’t do what you’ve done for your first fast let alone 28 days worth. You’ve already proven you can do it again and I can’t wait to see you hit goal weight again.
Very impressive! :D I did a 2 week fast one time long ago. I remember only it was a shock... Going extreme sometimes it can be positive,i think it can give motivation, adrenaline. But going slow it's also a necessary skill to have for reaching goals. For me going slow means eating 2k calories a day and fasting 48h once a week or every 2 weeks, eating legumes instead of rice, limit not satiating food, and things that mess blood sugar.
I am happy you being your self I just started my rolling fast journey on my eat days I’m eating what I want so I can build a healthy relationship with food but I do want to eat more healthy food I try to get better with food people want you to eat super clean if I ate super clean I will hate food and that would be damaging to my journey on my journey I got so scared to eat it was not healthy so if ima fast for days ima eat what I want on eat days in moderation

I’ve been refeeding 1 hour after a rolling 92 and usually eat poached eggs, butter , steak or any meat variety with sauté mushroom and caramelized onions and no sugar. Caramelized onions when I do ribeye or any steak. 🥩 🍤🐟🐔🍤🦐🥓🧈🍳🥚😂
I’m doing this for an autoimmune disease
If I need something to help me get to my goal I will add HWC or butter to my coffee and I use LMNT for electrolytes and will put small granules of Himalayan salt under tongue or ever bone broth . I definitely limit it .
I do it and it gets me to my goal!

I just found your channel and it is great so relatable. I do 4-6 days fast seasonal. I have never done a rolling fast but this is exactly what I need to start and can do. Jerome, I have really loved watching your journey and have started doing rolling fasts myself. Can’t believe I never heard of it before. One question for you. I’ve tried cutting out my pre-workout supplement and drink because it has 0-10 cals and a few carbs, so I know it’s effecting my fast. However, I really feel like my workouts lack without it. Do you think it truly breaks and diminishes the fast to drink this? Or is it worth taking it to get a good workout and do the effects really limit the benefit of the fast? Any advice helps!!!
I'm like you Jerome, I'm an All-or-Nothing kinda gal! I plan to do rolling 72hrs once I hit goal weight.
a) because I will still have my ill health issues that will worse again if the weight creeps up
b) because I can stay disciplined when missing 2 days of eating...I was eating more than my body needed when I was doing OMAD
c) I will make sure that my Refeeds allow for social occasions that I've missed out on these last 3 years...and I'll not have to watch what I eat on those occasions
I'm determined to get to my goal weight, and hopefully my determination continues at keeping the chronic condition flare ups at bay.

I started April 1.
I started a few days before also. I'm down 6 pounds! I do 4 days, reseed then 3 days. Even when I refeed on carbs I still don't go out of ketosis! It's exciting to actually see the scale go down.😊

Can you please tell us how you make up your electrolyte drink? You keep saying you will.... and haven't done so yet! You keeping us in suspense or what! Lol!
I’m not sure how he makes up his electrolyte drink but I do know you can take magnesium as a single dose with minimum to no stomach upset and zero diarrhea. Magnesium oxide is a laxative magnesium glycinate is used to relax the muscle and for sleep. There is about 4-5 types of magnesium and each have their own purpose. I’ve never had an issue with stomach upset or diarrhea from taking 250mg of magnesium glycinate at night. I have had diarrhea from magnesium oxide though. 😅 I hope this helps.
Could you stop using the "M-word" quite so much? I wouldn't have an issue with "don't wait until tomorrow". But hearing "that word" on a really nice sunday afternoon is a bit jarring. You're still a role model to me even though we kind of rode the same roller coaster for a few years.
