    So all the links that were promised are below, here is a quick little blurb on my hawk 250. 4479 miles at the time of this video, my hawk is a 2019, it has a 110 main jet. Has lots of improvement mods, but no performance mods. Everything I have done to the bike has been documented here on TH-cam, check out my hawk 250 playlist below to see everything I’ve done to the bike! There are also lots of hill climbing and riding videos in the playlist as well.
    At the time of filming this video I had
    Miles: 4479
    Hours: 141.8 (keep in mind I put this hour meter on the hawk at roughly 375 miles)

    I recommend buying the eBay pads, they have the most bang for your buck. When buying front and rear pads separately you can see your paying more, plus the eBay pads have more pad and include front and rear pads. Keep in mind the front eBay pads need trimmed. obviously your not going to brake the bank with either purchase, but I always like saving a few bucks. Small saving over time add up to big savings 🤑🤑

    Thanks fellow ohioian! I just ordered my bike and at last min thought how the hell ima change my breaks

    • @goodolboys713
      @goodolboys713  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hehe no problem! Those were my thought exactly when I first bought this bike! The good news is that these are very simple bikes. Almost every single part on this bike is generic and very common. luckily it is very easy to find parts from sources other than the manufacturer. And obviously it’s hard to get in touch with the manufactures of these bikes considering that there Chinese lol

      Txps, or a few of the other parts and bike suppliers out there have the parts. I know I have seen the rear and front caliper assembly’s on their websites, they aren’t cheap but you can get them.

    Help! I bleed my brakes to get break in fluid out now I have no brakes, what do u do?????

    • @goodolboys713
      @goodolboys713  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s an interesting problem lol. I would recommend going over the simple stuff, make sure you doing the correct procedure, after that, check seals, make sure you have enough brake fluid, make sure all the lines are good, master cylinders can go bad but that’s doubtful if you just drained the break in fluid. Hopefully this helps! Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for the video, it is very helpful. I am in need of new brake pad sliding pins for my front and rear brakes. Do you know if any of the Japanese bikes have pins that will work?

    • @goodolboys713
      @goodolboys713  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately I don’t, Iv never had that issue on my bike, so I haven’t had the pleasure of looking for slider pins yet 🤣 the best advice to give you would be to measure the pins and do some looking around. Or see if txps can get the parts, also there is a guys called hawk250 parts on eBay now that has many parts for sale from the hawk. He might have what you need. Hopefully this helps! Thanks for watching!
