FIXING the Rear Brake - AMAZON HAWK 250 Enduro

  • Finally (Almost) fixing the rear brake on my 202 RPS Hawk 250 from AMAZON. The brake was basically non-existent due to some grime buildup in the pistons. Anyone have an alternative brake set up that you've been successful with?

    don't pump the brake when the bleeder valve is open. hold the brake down crack the valve for a secondor 2 then close the bleeder and pump it up again. repeat. when you have the valve open and you let up on the brake you suck air back into the lines.

    I don’t know about the grease on the pistons. It captures dirt, etc. worse case will drip on the disk or the pad making it useless. Apply break cleaner liberally to the pads and rotor to ensure you remove any contamination.

    What size/type of o-ring/seal to replace for cylinders?

      I honestly do not have that info. You might want to look on their website because they do sell replacement parts from the factory.
