Hi Rich, we had like a snow fall week now. Every day snowing and temperatures around 14 degrees Fahrenheit. All the snow cleaning and driving in 1 feet deep snow was difficult 😨😨😨😨😨 From today on we will have like 52 degrees and son, go figure. So the snow will begin to melt and some RC fun will be possible. Had to change my stock Traxxas servo with a new one, but it held over a year💪💪, with no stripped plastic gears, it just got weak, doesn't have the power to turn the X-Maxx's wheels anymore 😨😨

I was really hoping you would hit that snow/hail, so I could say nice snow bash brother...:P That is crazy that it was still just hanging there and not all melted. We are in a cold snap again and got more snow yesterday. It was all gone and I was thinking spring and then boom snow. Kinda tough to miss the water when there's much of it, might as well embrace it at that point. I don't know how you land on the wheel sometimes with those chaotic flips. You make it look brother!!

Clarence Anacleto it's honestly better to run the full BLX200 Nero combo. You definitely get more power. That said, I'm running the Nero motor with the BLX185 ESC in this rig 😱...Lol!!! They have different size connectors. Some run 4mm to 5.5 bullet adapters. I'd recommend either the full matching combo or have your BLX185 ESC connectors swapped out from 4mm to 5.5. Hope this helps brother.🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😨😎💪👊👊

I never had good luck with hot glue. First time plastic flexes it separates. Does it not do the same for u and if not WTH kind are u using haha. I've had the best luck with small pilot holes and small zip-ties . Same process as we use for broken or cracked plastics on dirt bikes and ATVs. Works great 👍🏻👍🏻

I’m having second thoughts, and I’d like your opinion, but first off I’d like to ask what tires are you running? Second is I realize that the outcast is the crazy basher type rc, but what would you suggest vs the kraton? I do bashing, a little racing but I’ve got racers. I’d like to have an rc with the strongest diffs. I’ve heard the diffs are different on them but don’t remember which had the best. I just want to know what you’d suggest outcast or kraton
Andrew York I was running vented Proline Shockwaves 3.8. The Outcast and Kraton have identical diffs and share several other key parts. Both are BADASS rigs. It's up to you on wether you want the longer, more stable Kraton or wild nature of the Outcast. I personally love both of them and wouldn't part with either.😎💪👊👊

I picked up a small Ryobi screwdriver drill and it works perfectly. Nice and small too. If had it for a couple years now. Just needed a new battery. They are only like $30 at Home Depot.

sRCparadise thanks so much Steven 👊!!! I'm just making certain my receiver lid is on right. I've never found more than 1 drop of water at the bottom of the box. I usually spray my rig with either WD 40 or Silicone spray before a mud bash and do the same after cleaning. WD is good for water displacement and cleaning but doesn't lube bearings, pivot balls, hinge pins...etc like silicone spray or Teflon.. Still prefer bearing oil and manual cleaning of course. This type of running is hard on them, no doubt. I also use lots of marine grease in my diff cases to help keep water and dirt out. 🤘🤘😨😨😨😵😵😎💪👊👊
I was on the fence about buying a udr or something else ...buying one of these end of story.. I've been into rc for 35years and have had every vehicle they make but never seen one take a beating like that and just keep going like nothing happened. If you dont mind what battery packs do you run because that are bad axx to take those impacts..
Thanks brother 👊!!! You won't regret getting an Arrma 6s😜. I did a more recent vid a few weeks back about Kraton upgrades "building a Beast". I do the same upgrades to my Outcast 👊. Use to run SMC, but they'd drop cells too often. Now running mostly Hobbystar 4800mah 50C 6s hard packs. I use a piece of yoga mat under my packs religiously now. PS, the all new M2C Racing 7075 4mm chassis is a serious upgrade to consider (m2c3005). The Kraton version has proved simply incredible 😍🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

I broke the rod end on my GPM shocks for the Kraton. Do you thing the Tekno rod ends will fit it? I need to find rod end that fit a 4mm shaft. I know you have a set of the same shocks. I'm pretty sure they are 4mm shafts.....another great bash!!! ✌️💪👍🤙🤘👏👏👏👏

Bakerboyzzz RC well brother, I just tried to fit both Tekno MT 410 and RPM #80472 ones that Thomas P did a video on for V3 Arrma replacements. It's possible to drill them out a touch, but it'll leave you with hardly any plastic. The GPM ones are indeed much beefier around the threads. Tried both, but it wasn't happening.😢😎💪👊👊

Rich question about the Tekno MT410, the max 8 esc has two seperate deans, do you run 2 seperate 2s batteries or bridge the esc to run a single 4s brick?? Thanks so much, sorry so many questions but I sure appreciate your advice!! Thank you AH
AH Hobby no problem bud. I like keeping it simple and run single 4s or 6s hard packs. I cut the extra loop off and run single EC5 connectors off all my ESCs. 😎💪👊👊
Rich Duperbash I was thinking either Deans or EC5 however my Senton and batteries are XT90 for now,, you run the SMC 4s in the Tekno MT410 but a lower mah, will the larger 4s 6000 hard packs from SMC fit in the Tekno?? Sorry so many damn questions,,👍🏼
AH Hobby don't use Deans connectors, go with either XT90s or the higher rated EC5s. That 6000mah 4s should fit just fine and give you good run time. I wouldn't go any bigger than that personally or the weight starts to add up. I run the 5400 mAh 4s SMC hard packs. 😎💪👊👊

Hi Rich, we had like a snow fall week now. Every day snowing and temperatures around 14 degrees Fahrenheit. All the snow cleaning and driving in 1 feet deep snow was difficult 😨😨😨😨😨
From today on we will have like 52 degrees and son, go figure. So the snow will begin to melt and some RC fun will be possible.
Had to change my stock Traxxas servo with a new one, but it held over a year💪💪, with no stripped plastic gears, it just got weak, doesn't have the power to turn the X-Maxx's wheels anymore 😨😨

Clarence Anacleto it's honestly better to run the full BLX200 Nero combo. You definitely get more power. That said, I'm running the Nero motor with the BLX185 ESC in this rig 😱...Lol!!! They have different size connectors. Some run 4mm to 5.5 bullet adapters. I'd recommend either the full matching combo or have your BLX185 ESC connectors swapped out from 4mm to 5.5. I never had good luck with hot glue. First time plastic flexes it separates. Does it not do the same for u and if not WTH kind are u using haha. I've had the best luck with small pilot holes and small zip-ties . Same process as we use for broken or cracked plastics on dirt bikes and ATVs. Works great 👍🏻👍🏻

Second is I realize that the outcast is the crazy basher type rc, but what would you suggest vs the kraton? I do bashing, a little racing but I’ve got racers. I’d like to have an rc with the strongest diffs. I’ve heard the diffs are different on them but don’t remember which had the best. I just want to know what you’d suggest outcast or kraton
Andrew York I was running vented Proline Shockwaves 3.8. The Outcast and Kraton have identical diffs and share several other key parts. Both are BADASS rigs. It's up to you on wether you want the longer, more stable Kraton or wild nature of the Outcast. I personally love both of them and wouldn't part with either.😎💪👊👊

I picked up a small Ryobi screwdriver drill and it works perfectly. Nice and small too. If had it for a couple years now. Just needed a new battery. They are only like $30 at Home Depot.

I don't like having to run specific size packs and wasn't entirely convinced with the bulkhead support front or rear. I sorta pictured myself breaking it. sRCparadise thanks so much Steven 👊!!! I'm just making certain my receiver lid is on right. I've never found more than 1 drop of water at the bottom of the box. I usually spray my rig with either WD 40 or Silicone spray before a mud bash and do the same after cleaning. WD is good for water displacement and cleaning but doesn't lube bearings, pivot balls, hinge pins...etc like silicone spray or Teflon.. Still prefer bearing oil and manual cleaning of course. This type of running is hard on them, no doubt. I also use lots of marine grease in my diff cases to help keep water and dirt out. 🤘🤘😨😨😨😵😵😎💪👊👊

I was on the fence about buying a udr or something else ...buying one of these end of story.. I've been into rc for 35years and have had every vehicle they make but never seen one take a beating like that and just keep going like nothing happened. If you dont mind what battery packs do you run because that are bad axx to take those impacts..
Thanks brother 👊!!! You won't regret getting an Arrma 6s😜. I did a more recent vid a few weeks back about Kraton upgrades "building a Beast". I do the same upgrades to my Outcast 👊. Use to run SMC, but they'd drop cells too often. Now running mostly Hobbystar 4800mah 50C 6s hard packs. I use a piece of yoga mat under my packs religiously now. PS, the all new M2C Racing 7075 4mm chassis is a serious upgrade to consider (m2c3005). The Kraton version has proved simply incredible 😍🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

I broke the rod end on my GPM shocks for the Kraton. Do you thing the Tekno rod ends will fit it? I need to find rod end that fit a 4mm shaft. I know you have a set of the same shocks. I'm pretty sure they are 4mm shafts.....another great bash!!! ✌️💪👍🤙🤘👏👏👏👏

Bakerboyzzz RC well brother, I just tried to fit both Tekno MT 410 and RPM #80472 ones that Thomas P did a video on for V3 Arrma replacements. It's possible to drill them out a touch, but it'll leave you with hardly any plastic. The GPM ones are indeed much beefier around the threads. Tried both, but it wasn't happening.😢😎💪👊👊

Rich question about the Tekno MT410, the max 8 esc has two seperate deans, do you run 2 seperate 2s batteries or bridge the esc to run a single 4s brick??

AH Hobby no problem bud. I like keeping it simple and run single 4s or 6s hard packs. I cut the extra loop off and run single EC5 connectors off all my ESCs. 😎💪👊👊
Rich Duperbash I was thinking either Deans or EC5 however my Senton and batteries are XT90 for now,, you run the SMC 4s in the Tekno MT410 but a lower mah, will the larger 4s 6000 hard packs from SMC fit in the Tekno?? Sorry so many damn questions,,👍🏼
AH Hobby don't use Deans connectors, go with either XT90s or the higher rated EC5s. That 6000mah 4s should fit just fine and give you good run time. I wouldn't go any bigger than that personally or the weight starts to add up. I run the 5400 mAh 4s SMC hard packs. 😎💪👊👊

hey bro I came across a video of someone wrapping fishing line around the trencher tires ands then taking super glue and gluing it down around the tire. He gave your channel a shoutout saying that is what you told him to do to stop ballooning his tires. Do you have any advice for me on the process.
