"BIG Red" ARRMA Outcast 8s Rips Sacramento Valley RC Fest!!!

- Here's a glimpse of all the fun that went down at the 2nd annual Sacramento Valley RC Fest at beautiful Folsom Lake this past weekend. So grateful to make so many new friends with great weather, fantastic music, and delicious food!!! The vibe was absolutely awesome. Huge thanks to Dwight with Fast Track Hobbies in Rocklin, CA for organizing such a wonderful, family oriented event!!! If you missed it, plan to go next year. There's nothing like it on the West coast and plenty of things to see and do while in the Sacramento area.

Pretty cool. I've never seen an event like that with all types of R/C's before. As someone who does a bit of bashing and flies RC helis too, I would love for something like this to be near me. I enjoy all things RC.
Thanks John 🤗. There's a regular group of guys that frequent this same spot to fly their helis and planes. I get out to Folsom Lake at least once a month and see guys crawling and bashing too. I'm fortunate to live close because it's truly a wonderful place to hike, bike, boat, fish.... etc. 🍻

I live in illinois and Horzion Hooby a huge 2 day event in Monticello , Illinois every summer. The long jump contest is my favorite. Hotels get all booked way in advance.

You had a couple of shots of my rigs jumping the big ramp. And my fat-ass running to retrieve my rig. (Not a pretty sight). Lol. That ramp was killer. Super wide, you couldn't miss it. I was going to launch the Promoto off it, but I broke all my rigs and luck was not in my favor. Lol. The whole fest was an awesome event. There was more than I figured. Good times, and I will be back next year. Be sure to post so I can make plans. Lol.
Ps. For medical reasons, I had to head back after the first day. I was pissed!

Props to No Limit RC Sacramento for bringing their super wide ramp setup 🚀🚀. I saw your ProMoto and my son Andrew even commented "they make RC motorcycles?" 😂. You were sending it off the dirt double on the asphalt. I wanted to grab a shot of it, but the timing didn't work out. Definitely an awesome event Brother. Hope you're ok and we'll definitely connect if you drive south again next year. This event will only get bigger and better and Folsom Lake is the perfect venue for everything RC. There's tons of stuff to enjoy nearby, but the lake is a gem and the vibe there is simply awesome. 😎💪👊👊

There were 3 food trucks to the left of the music stage and 2 more specialty trucks near the boat ramps 😍. Really good brisquett, pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ, street tacos... etc. Vibe was awesome Brother 🤗. Andrew actually left his rod at the house 😂. Forgot he had taken it out of the car. We went pond fishing together after RC Fest Sunday and hooked up 😍. Andrew has been killing it fishing wacky with watermelon red fleck dingers. The bands were awesome!!! Think that was School of Rock from Rocklin 🤔. Not sure if they have a specific band name, but she had a wonderful rasp at vocals. Hint of Janis Joplin. Epic weekend at the lake 😎
What a cool event, I wish we had anything remotely similar here (Alaska) I was wanting to take a trip down there this summer for an event, the Arrmagedon one in Florida At Cleet's Freedom Factory would be sick. Did you get smacked by TH-cam for the live music?
Yes indeed Brother this was a great event 😍. I'm sure Florida would be awesome as well. Such a cool place to visit. Yeah I got a copyright slap for the live music 🤣. WTH is wrong with today's world. Youth bands learning music and singing their hearts out at a family oriented event. Truth is Velvet Revolver/STP's Scott Weiland (R.I.P. 🙏) and Slash would probably appreciate hearing this rendition from these awesome budding musicians. TH-cam can kiss my ass. Everyone had a blast and that's what really matters 🍻
It frustrates me I couldn't get a straight answer from anybody on the exact location of this event until a week before it happened.
It was really weird that a few that advertised for this event were keeping the location a secret on the bay area bashers FB page.
That's unfortunate my friend. Fast Track Hobbies in Rocklin is the organizer and sponsor. The event was on blast on their Facebook page. I've been sharing the event details on my channel the last several weeks/months. We had several guys show up from different parts of the bay. Sounds like the bay area bashers page was the wrong source for clear info 😔. This will be a yearly event that will only get bigger and better. Dwight is Fast Tracks owner and does things right. Contact the shop directly next spring or reach out on the channel. I'll have the details on blast in advance here next year too 🍻
