    I stumbled upon your lesson today. After severe frostbite on all my fingers from racing on the Iditarod Trail I haven't play for years. You inspired me. So good to be playing this tune again. Thank you so much.

    Thank you! I am an adult learning an instrument for the first time. I have been learning exclusively from TH-cam videos and really appreciate you taking the time to do this

    I heard this tune and thought 'oh yea, I could learn that' but it's proving to be a very difficult one to get right.

    Thank YOU! 🥰 It's about time I added this to my rep...My fiddlers always had it in their back pocket, and I just thumped away on bodhran, or whistle...Now I can multi-track I with guitar! YAY! 😀

    You showed excellent didactic and playing ability. I might go purchase a plastic violin from ALDI and learn it in the next several days for our coming local annual fiddler's convention . Musicians come to it from all over Australia . Unfortunately I lost all my old violins in a fire . This one all falls into place at 3:45 . Thanks.

    This came up on my recommended, after I was just playing some Irish jigs and reels. Spooky! Have subscribed as I'll be coming back to this to play it. Thanks for the great video !

    Your fun approach combined with such clear explanation and smooth bowing makes for the perfect combination in teaching. In my opinion you are the best out there! Genuinely considering the patreon approach, although I have an existing list of fiddle tunes that I want to take to the next level so not sure if via patreon subscription I can influence your choice of tunes that you create content for?

    Liz, I LOVE your tutorials! Thank you so much for sharing your expertise with us. Plus, you're absolutely adorable. : ) I notice you hold the bow higher up the stick than a traditional bow hold. Why is this and when is it appropriate to do so?

    • @philip5940
      @philip5940 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It seems appropriate for fiddle style playing to help develop that pulsating rhythm more easily . There's a noticable difference in feel and I've observed violinists holding their bows fiddle style when playing Four Seasons too .

    How do you add the “swing” to the song? When you play it slowly you don’t have it but at the beginning you play it with the swing. Idk how to add that

    I really miss you teaching shorter sections of a tune. Easier for me to grab the notes. Thanks

      Try clipping a short piece of the lesson. Its one of the utube functions below. Works well for me😊

    Is your fiddle a Neuner Hornsteiner?

    • @LizFaiellaMusic
      @LizFaiellaMusic  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's not! It's an old factory-made fiddle from France, apparently.
