Why is she speaking in this awful, creaky 'Vocal Fry' voice? At times, her articulation and diction are so bad, that I am having difficulty understanding what she is saying ( and I am a native English speaker!)

Love the video. I'm a beginner, but I find that the amount of pressure you have at your disposal massively differs depending on your contact point. Towards the fingerboard, the string has a lot of give and will bend and "detune" but close to the bridge the strings can take a hammering

It’s lovely how no 2 fiddler players are the same as you use pauses and straight lilts, I tend to throw Ornamentation and mordents around like confetti 🎉🎊 Sharon Corr has a straight edge like celtic etudes, Martin Hayes likt’s his slides and creates a different dynamic Irish fiddlers are individual

Hi Liz, I really enjoy your videos. They are quite varied and helpful when trying to learn something new. Perhaps you've responded to this before, but what kind of strings do you use on your violin? I'm certain all fiddles will produce their own unique sound depending on the kind of strings being used and I was just curious.

Currently learning this on the Mandolin, this is a lovely version of it! I feel like it it would go well with Geese in the Bog and the Lilting Banshee?
