I'm glad to see you mentioned the Magic Trackpad. I only tried out the Magic Trackpad 2 in the store, but it felt great and very similar to my MacBook Pro's force touch trackpad. Compared to the non-forcetouch generation input devices, taptic feedback devices are easier to use because you can click anywhere on their surface, using the same amount of pressure. The older ones didn't work so well with upper region clicks. Great content, keep it up!
Nice history video. The Apple mice from the 90s were nice. But in the 2000s with so many problems with the hockey puck & Apple Mighty Mouse, I used Logitech mice. The Magic Mouse 1 works well for basic computing (the one with replaceable batteries) especially with side to side scrolling. For gaming I’ve used a Logitech mouse.
My favorite Mouse is the 2000 Apple Pro Mouse it has the best design and it is so comfortable to use. I bought it a couple months ago to use with my M1 MacBook Air. Best mouse ever and very nostalgic
I’m guessing that’s how he makes the videos so quickly. Just take a bunch of photos from google and read out a Wikipedia entry on the product/s and there you go
@9:15 You skipped over that mouse. It was a wireless mouse with a glassy case. Looked similar to the Pro Mouse. Used Bluetooth and disposable batteries.
As far as trackpads go ....the workflow on a MacBook Pro for actually working on projects (for several serious hours, multiple apps open etc) macOS and its trackpad can’t be beat. The only thing I’d really like to see for the desktop is a unified keyboard and trackpad combo like the thinkpad series but with the super responsive gigantic trackpad. 😫 I just love it so much! Never have I ever been able to get soooo much done without crazy carpal tunnel issues 😂
I know it's probably an engineering impossibility, but my god how cool would it be to combine the aesthetics of the Apple Pro Mouse, with the functionality of the Magic Mouse.
Interesting to see how the Xerox Parc mouse was 3 button. I've been a 3D animator, and 3D/CAD apps have almost always depended on 3 button mice (as they're easier for doing the three axis pan, dolly, orbit). Never understood why Apple wanted to eliminate buttons. I now have a MacBook Pro and really like a customizable trackball with it.

I had the Magic Mouse with my 2012 iMac, it had a tendency to use up batteries extremely quickly and the design itself was terribly unergonomic. I use a big chunky Microsoft Bluetooth ergonomic mouse with my Mac mini which is much easier on my hand
7:50 the ALL CLEAR PRO MOUSE i would buy a windows compatable 3rd party look alike to retain that design style, for my speakers and keyboard too, why arent there more crystal transparent pc products?
You shouldn’t be able to use the Magic Mouse while charging cause you could just let it connected all the time. It’s intentional, people shouldn’t like cables cause the perfect mouse wouldn’t need one even for charging.
I will saw that, while it looks silly, I don’t think the ports placement is as big a deal as people claim. Doesn’t it last a month at least? I’d just charge it once a month when not in use.
No offense to anyone, but apple's mice are the worst pieces of crap I've ever used. The Magic Mouse is terrible, and the apple pro "Glass Bubble" was not much better. They should stick to track pads. At least they have sane design decisions there!
THANK YOU for starting with the Lisa. Most people would have started with the Macintosh
Indeed. A nice touch.

I love these history videos
Mighty mouse is my favorite and the one I currently use!

You can still buy the Mighty Mouse in the Apple Online Store.
Where?
You can't, they don't make them anymore. Will still take your money tho
I got one from a store throwing them away
The magic mouse is my favorite mouse.
Brent Wheeler
Its beautiful, but an ergonomic nightmare.
Brent Wheeler me too
Me to
I prefer the Corsair M95.
It's good to use on a daily basis, but it is impossible to use for gaming because you could click the wrong button.
Apple recently released a set of iMessage stickers that are based on classic Macintosh icons
I am obviously subscribed so i dont miss an update and i am a tech fan and love these videos
Did anyone else notice some of the info was word for word taken from Wikipedia.
I’m guessing that’s how he makes the videos so quickly. Just take a bunch of photos from google and read out a Wikipedia entry on the product/s and there you go
@Boring Person I read it all the time and I like it.
He sounds like a robot- probably a voice changer
I know AppleOS lmao what
Pour one out for the Apple Desktop Mouse II... the greatest mouse of the roller ball era. I can't add up all the hours I logged on that mouse.
@9:15
You skipped over that mouse. It was a wireless mouse with a glassy case. Looked similar to the Pro Mouse.

Nice. I have every Apple mouse starting from the 1987 ADB version.
U have improved alot
6:05 , haha i didn't know that Malaysia had apple's assembly plant long time ago..
so proud

The 1st gen Apple Desktop Mouse ftw. Still good looking. Looks like a 1980s sports car.
I love these videos! Im subscribing!!!!
Thanks for the support!
Another awesome video! 👍🏻
History of apple keyboard!or history of steve jobs
Thanks for the good suggestions, I'll add both to my future videos list.
The music is so loud and repetitive, it drives me crazy. I can't watch this video after four minutes
Wilson Hobbs same
For real the music doesn’t even fit it’s so upbeat. Solid video otherwise though, thanks.
dont be rude about it please
what part of any of these comments is rude? It's just criticism and he can choose to act on it if he wants
I don't see the problem.
Incredible video!
At 8:07, how do you scroll????????
How many buttons? 1,000,000,000,000 buttons.
How load of a click? Make it ear bleed.
Thank you so much for the great video 😆
Our school still has a few mice from 8:09 and the all white one with grey buttons on the side. Didn't realize they were that old!
The mighty mouse has 5 buttons.
I have no idea why but I love The mighty mouse
Fun Fact - Plural for computer mouse is “mouses
”
I actualy remember using the clear and opque wired mouse with the apple imacs at DVC middle school! But tbh the new magic mouse is super unconfortable
YES! I wanted this to happen
Apple Pro Mouse is my all time favourite design.
I know it's probably an engineering impossibility, but my god how cool would it be to combine the aesthetics of the Apple Pro Mouse, with the functionality of the Magic Mouse.

This is an early history of video
the current apple mouse is perfect
Except in every way. It is the least ergonomic mouse, and the charging socket is the most stupid design idea ever.
Call me crazy but I actually preferred the old spring trackpad that really clicked. So satisfying
what those side buttons of Mighty mouse do?
I had the Magic Mouse with my 2012 iMac, it had a tendency to use up batteries extremely quickly and the design itself was terribly unergonomic. I use a big chunky Microsoft Bluetooth ergonomic mouse with my Mac mini which is much easier on my hand
Everyone has criticized apple for putting the charger at the bottom
You Forgot the Wireless Apple Pro Mouse, But Good video Though
Luca Richards True
Did you just agree with yourself
FrizzVictor 01 lmfao
FrizzVictor 01 maybe someone deleted their comment
There were 2 magic mice the first used batteries and the other was chargeable same for the track pad
The original mouse was made by a firmed called IDEO
My favorite is the hockey puck mouse... it was perfect for me.
I thought the magic mouse used USB C for charging. Or is that a 3rd gen that was released after this video was made?
Nope. Still uses lightning, and is the most ridiculous design ever.
Still using a Mighty Mouse (2nd Rev) and a Magic Trackpad 1 + Magic Keyboard 1.
I thought that mice ate cheese and crackers. Or apples eat mice?!
The Lisa Mouse - now featuring B-B-B-BALLS OF STEEL!
Still use the Mighty Mouse (wired) pretty nice mouse if ya ask me
I remember having the black pro mouse back then
Do a video on Microsoft mice!
now do "History of Apple Cats"
its crazy they never made a good mouse since before the 2000s
pro mouse yessss
7:50 the ALL CLEAR PRO MOUSE i would buy a windows compatable 3rd party look alike to retain that design style, for my speakers and keyboard too, why arent there more crystal transparent pc products?
how cute mouse
You can tell it's one of those ancient TH-camr videos when they're getting started and the production value is way off.
i just wanted to say that i hate the magic mouse. okay thats it. i'll keep watching now. the track pad is a bomb tho.
People are mad because we just put one button in our mice?
Make a zero button one.
1:10 turn on subtitles it says homie Kelly
My Favourite Mouse by Apple is the Microsoft Mouse
People complains about trackpad price
Apple: here’s a more expensive one
Man thus videos its cool xozo
My dad has the mighty mouse for his MacBook Air
History of Apple keyboard please
Yep, they might look good,
but a plain old iPad was as expensive as the Surface Pro
They should of kept the pro mouse instead of the all white mighty mouse that I got with my imac
I still feel like the Apple mouse makes no sense. It should be smaller even to this day given how it only had one button.
Do a history of apple keyboards
129 for trackpad is ridiculous
Mate, you are literally reading direct from Wikipedia.....
Magic mouse and pro mouse are the best imo
Wait I subscribed to your channel a while ago. Why is it having me subscribe every tine I click on your video?
I find it funny that apple has never made a good mouse
The cost of a new Apple //c mouse was $100.
The trackpad looks like something a pro osu player would use lol
Also 69 dollaroo$ nice
I like the apple Mighty Mouse
I hate every Apple mouse I ever used. I'm sorry I mean their trackpads are amazing, but those mice wtf Apple
Why Apple Makes Mice With So Few Buttons???
I think it’s because Mac OS is very simple to use with just one button. But you can always enable right click if you want
i have the hockey puck lookin one
This mean apple mouse never had right click??
You shouldn’t be able to use the Magic Mouse while charging cause you could just let it connected all the time. It’s intentional, people shouldn’t like cables cause the perfect mouse wouldn’t need one even for charging.
Just because it's intentional, doesn't mean it's inspirational.
I will saw that, while it looks silly, I don’t think the ports placement is as big a deal as people claim. Doesn’t it last a month at least? I’d just charge it once a month when not in use.
Who here took the title too literally 🙄
I really hate the pro mouse
no apple cat?
1:49 AMOGUS
Hockey puck
mouse*
Apple mice were eaten by cats.
we have one hand on the mouse at one time, what Apple is doing is not for humans :)) Do they know sthing that we don't? :)
LOL APPLE MAGIC TRACKPAD PRICED AT THE FUNNY NUMBER 😂😂😂 69 HOW ABOUT 96
🍎🐭🐹
All of the Apple Mice have one thing in common....... they suck.
Parang walang buhay naman ang video na to.
Music is annoy.
I thought it was actual ‘mice’, smh....
No offense to anyone, but apple's mice are the worst pieces of crap I've ever used. The Magic Mouse is terrible, and the apple pro "Glass Bubble" was not much better. They should stick to track pads. At least they have sane design decisions there!
What about history of "apple sheep"
Jeffrey Borycki What about the history of Microsoft trolls?
Dana W well played
that music sucks!
aint no givin shit to the music, this aint a music channel you dumbhead
