I followed a couple of other YT videos but, it wasn't helpful for my case. Had to google to configure my bios and learn how to make USB bootable but the rest of the steps still works as it is without any changes. Somehow, my Microsoft account was changed to local account without giving me access to pin or security questions. And, it seemed it had password from local account 4-5 yrs ago. Thanks to creator like MDTechVideos who puts a lot of effort to help us. Still works in 2022! Keep it up, man! Lots of love and support!

When youre closing the Windows install screen, you might get stuck on the starting screen. Just press on the poweroff button and restart it. Great video, helped alot!

OMG! This worked perfectly (Aug, 2022). You are amazing, thank you very much. I had a problem with finding which one is the correct letter/drive. Had to check other videos, and the "dir" command helped me to identify which drive has the windows folder.
The other's solution through Safe Mode is not relevant, because on the newer versions they still ask for a password to enter the Safe Mode, which we don't have! You are a lifesaver. But, how to I reset the Ease of Access back to normal? Is it okay to just leave it that way?

Thank you so much!! While I was not able to reset my password (Microsoft account), that last part I was able to set a standard user as admin and use that account to re-enable "normal start-up mode" on the msconfig. That allowed me to finally login to my Microsoft account!!!

After 30 minutes i found laptop working slowly so started diagnosis and wizards said some changes failed to apply Please try to change in safe mode.... By doing so.... I have restarted laptop in safe mode with surprise for me Login wizards says enter password (i already forgotten) now there reset password or similar services also not working due to safe mode ... Tried to restart multiple time but every time this evil waking up in safe mode only.... After watching this video I was able to get access on cmd on login page... ( That didn't helps too in Microsoft account) and in advance option i added one more account with no password By signing in that account, i got access to disable this nasty safe mode😂😂😂😂🤣🤣 Love you bro you saved my work
I just wanted say thank you for your time and dedication to make this tutorial,It help me to log in to my pc. The only thing that I had to work around a little bit, because it didn't gave me the option to reset the password, so I had to removed it, but when I restarted the pc , It asked me to enter a password,so what I did was to go to advance option and from there I was able to removed it, so that way, i was able to bypass the password.
Clear and precise! Worked perfectly on my Window 10 local account. Thank you! I wasn't real clear on the "net user administrator /active:yes" for linked Microsoft account. Is that the only change? Not sure when you would execute that command.

At 7:04 when I hit enter after cd windows, I get a message saying "The system cannot find the path specified". I am using a USB flash driver. I see other people in the comments are having the same problem as well
Thank you. It helped since I have the windows 10 bootable usb drive. I changed my win 10 password yesterday and could not login this morning even though I think I have the right password. I guess Micro$oft played a practical joke with me for the April Fool's day.
To revert changes, load windows10 and get back to command prompt. Follow previous steps to get back to where you were. This time you’ll del utilman.exe then we will rename utilman1.exe utiliman.exe Next will del cmd.exe then we will rename cmd1.exe cmd.exe
@@liannateruel wasn’t able to change them in this tutorial. I did change them using the webb my phone. If you have trouble accessing your pc or have been locked out. Just make a another user. Then on the new user account, find your pc mail app, log in your Microsoft account. Then switch to your main account, you should be able to log in.

@@suvoghosh6560 my system drive doesn't have a letter next to it . I tried os which is the letter c and volume one . Didn't work . I tried volume 2 which is d and data but that didn't work either I have system recovery and restore left but none of them have numbers next to them
