DESCRIPTION
Arma 3 Jets (est. May 2017*)
Fight in the sky with brand new Air-Superiority jets and use advanced targeting systems to shoot down the enemy. The Arma 3 Jets DLC will feature three new fighter jets, a new Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV), a new Showcase scenario, new Steam Achievements, and more. The Jets DLC will be accompanied by a free platform update introducing a sensor overhaul to enhance targeting, an improved fixed-wing damage model by extending the number of hitpoints and damage effects, dynamic vehicle loadouts, and various other jet-related improvements.
Arma 3 "Orange" (working title) (est. Q3 2017*)
While the exact theme of the Arma 3 "Orange" DLC (working title) will be announced at a later date, this upcoming new package will explore an interesting and unique perspective on the battlefield. The Arma 3 "Orange" DLC will include new vehicles, new clothing and gear, new decorative objects, a mini-campaign, Showcase and Challenge scenarios, and more. In terms of size, the "Orange DLC" stands somewhere in between the Arma 3 Karts and Arma 3 Helicopters/Marksmen/Jets/Tanks DLC.
Arma 3 Tac-Ops (est. Q4 2017*)
Plan and execute to successfully accomplish your mission objective in a series of 'tactical operations'. The Arma 3 Tac-Ops DLC will deliver new singleplayer scenarios that focus upon challenging, replayable, and authentic military gameplay - making the best use of Arma 3's sandbox terrain, vehicles, and weapons.
Arma 3 Tanks (est. Q1 2018*)
Following our well-established DLC model, the Arma 3 Tanks DLC will build on the experience of armored combat in Arma 3 by delivering 3 new armored vehicles, new playable content, and more. The package will be accompanied by a free platform update, which will implement new features and improvements related to tracked and armored vehicles.
Also, to finish my copy paste, the ARMA 3 Malden map will be out in July of 2017, which WILL be free, yay, free stuff!

A man is driving down the road and his car breaks down near a monastery. He goes to the monastery, knocks on the door, and says, "My car broke down. Do you think I could stay the night?"
The monks graciously accept him, feed him dinner, even fix his car. As the man tries to fall asleep, he hears a strange sound. A sound unlike anything he's ever heard before. The Sirens that nearly seduced Odysseus into crashing his ship comes to his mind. He doesn't sleep that night. He tosses and turns trying to figure out what could possibly be making such a seductive sound.
The next morning, he asks the monks what the sound was, but they say, "We can't tell you. You're not a monk." Distraught, the man is forced to leave.
Years later, after never being able to forget that sound, the man goes back to the monastery and pleads for the answer again.
The monks reply, "We can't tell you. You're not a monk."The man says, "If the only way I can find out what is making that beautiful sound is to become a monk, then please, make me a monk."
The monks reply, "You must travel the earth and tell us how many blades of grass there are and the exact number of grains of sand. When you find these answers, you will have become a monk."
The man sets about his task. After years of searching he returns as a gray-haired old man and knocks on the door of the monastery. A monk answers. He is taken before a gathering of all the monks.
"In my quest to find what makes that beautiful sound, I traveled the earth and have found what you asked for: By design, the world is in a state of perpetual change. Only God knows what you ask. All a man can know is himself, and only then if he is honest and reflective and willing to strip away self deception."
The monks reply, "Congratulations. You have become a monk. We shall now show you the way to the mystery of the sacred sound."
The monks lead the man to a wooden door, where the head monk says, "The sound is beyond that door."
The monks give him the key, and he opens the door. Behind the wooden door is another door made of stone. The man is given the key to the stone door and he opens it, only to find a door made of ruby. And so it went that he needed keys to doors of emerald, pearl and diamond.
Finally, they come to a door made of solid gold. The sound has become very clear and definite. The monks say, "This is the last key to the last door."
The man is apprehensive to no end. His life's wish is behind that door!With trembling hands, he unlocks the door, turns the knob, and slowly pushes the door open. Falling to his knees, he is utterly amazed to discover the source of that haunting and seductive sound......

armbot Because lakeside was designed by young modders and it's made for a mod, bohemia is a huge company with professional game designers that went to college for many year to be good at that. They should be able to make a better map than boring ones they've been making.
many community mappers are great to, often out doing Bohemia on things such as layout. Like Lingor to this day is my Favorite layout even tho it doesn't really make much scene, and to say that the vast majoraty is life mods is bs to see where the modding community really is just going into the arma modding discord and see what competent moders are working on
it's cute really, people complain about the prices, yet Arma 3 offers vastly more gameplay than most games. I personally have 1000+ hours on it, and thats a timid number. So many people have 2000+. Imo, $125 (all the dlc and base game cost roughly) is well well worth 2000 hours of gameplay xD
Jordan Tinsley Yap I have over 2000 now and saw people with over 4000 or even one over 7000... then you look at BF1 120€ with DLCs and people play it 50, 100 or max 500 hours.

From my time in milsim/i&a, I can safely say jets are commonly used though only usually used by one person as CAS. The problem is: there is only 1 jet that is for CAS mainly and they just get shot down.
DLC 1 >>> 2:18
DLC 2 >>> 4:29, and really begins at 4:52
DLC 3 >>> 7:23, and really begins at 8:06
DLC 4 >>> 9:15

What do you talk about 100€ on DLCs? Arma 3 is now 4 years old and the DLC are worth their price, and then check out the Battlefield 1 DLCs... 60€ game +60€ DLCs after 2 months.
Honestly, jets are cool and all but arms 3 lacks 2 seater jets. I know this would be op, a pilot and a laser designator do pilot for him, but it would be really cool to have it.

I gotta say I agree with Lewis in regards to buying ARMA 3 for the sole purpose of playing mods. my son may have played the campaign a few times, but my 5000 hrs in ARMA 3 all come from playing mods. I lied I'm level 32 on some KOTH servers but you get my point. I've bought three copies and all the dlc for 3 machines in my house.
I wish BI would try and develope a few dope game modes. While maintaining it's current game modes.
They're using dayz standalone to test out new engine tech which will be the base for the Arma 4 and later

The arma dlc's should be mire likely seen as "donations", as they only offer bonus vehicles, maps or missions, but all new features are implemented in the arma updates anyways. I do not understand the problem

No you have to buy the 2nd bundle.
What Waldo said -- the only buyers who get ALL DLCs are those who took a chance on the "basically ultimate edition" which was only available before the game's launch... I say 'took a chance' because that game edition stipulated "this acts as a season pass IF we release any Arma 3 DLCs".
+Chortles G. I believe Bohemia was praying that people buy Arma 3, after selling Arma 2 and its expansions for $5 they took a huge beating.
Ehhh, people could buy into the game at US$33 and then US$45 at the time that US$92 Supporter Edition was available... though said edition actually included all of the series up to date as a Steam Gift key for the Arma X Anniversary Edition (plus a second copy of Arma: Cold War Assault as a Steam Gift) while the "All Future Arma 3 DLCs" bullet point had the disclaimer "If any, does not apply to standalone expansions or sequels."

+TheRossdlf The base game plus the DLCs total up to about 125$. That is reasonable considering most games nowadays sells you half the game for 60$ and the other half for 50$.
Funny thing is you even complained that your channel is stalling and "dying", because you pretty much solely play ArmA....
Don't complain anymore about it if you aren't going to put effort into bringing new games in to play on the regular

Bohemia cannot keep going down the road of free DLCS they did it all through Arma 2. Now they have a bigger team and must pay more people. They cannot afford to give you free DLC constantly.

Honestly I think it is stupid, 1 whole year for some tanks? I mean on other games like COD & BF you get 4 maps and some guns etc. which is so much more than you get in these arma packs. Obviously COD & BF are very different to arma but just think they should really just work on optimizing the game tbh, I don't like what they are doing basically.

I have a contact in Bohemia Interactive, He confirmed to me that any future Arma titles will be on a new engine. So the reason that most of this DLC content is asset based rather than being "big new code based features" is because all of the coders are working on this new engine. Expect to see Arma 4 news coming around 2020.

Considering the amount of time and effort they put into the game, maintaining and improving it for 4 years running... Their prices make sense honestly, don't you think?
Check out their changelogs for all the updates they've done, it's so much work.
Maintaining it is how you'd justify it? They should fucking maintain it regardless, they made a killing off its initial sale.
Well I've already given them 100€+ for all of the DLCs, and that's just for Arma 3, I've purchased DayZ Standalone twice, I've purchased Arma 2 Complete Collection twice & I've purchased Arma Cold War Assault once. (I wanted to have the games on my now main Steam account) That's quite a bit of money, and Bohemia has a lot more, unless they've mismanaged them.
Also either of the DLC bundles costs a little less than the 24€ I paid for Tanoa itself, which I think is extremely overvaluing something. You don't get a new map, you don't get a new campaign, you don't get any meaningful vehicles, (Those helicopters look nice, but like I've never used them due to cover or their futuristic looks) you did get some guns but not a ton nor a lot of cool ones. The DLC bundle has too little content for what it costs. And making another DLC bundle won't fix their financial problems if they even have any.

Compare the content in this game compared to ArmA 2 there were a helluva lot more vehicles in A2 and none of them were behind a paywall either the game launched with 3 fucking plane jesus it's honestly the biggest pisstake ever, There still isnt even a transport plane in the game and there's still a whole load more vehicles in A2 compared to A3 even with all the DLCs and the future DLCs.
