I Really appreciate how much rarer canned food seems to be now, it used to be that you just hit up a few houses and ur sorted on food for the next two weeks. I like the idea that now you really should go to a Mall or convenience store to stay alive. Especially with the new Denser Zombie Pop there.
The horde night mod actually makes end game REALLY hard sometimes. it makes game like the ''they are billions'' game so after some time evry ... days day grow large and they come to your house. and it is only for b42
the hotfix is working great for me, but i'm still puzzled about crafting and gunplay while the new crafting UI is great, a vanilla crafting guide of some sort would be amazing as for guns, i don't really know how i'm going to use a pistol or rifle unless i train aiming on shotgun for a few hundred zeds.
On my first playthrough, I did a 9 fit and max strength build and didn't encounter muscle fatigue at all even when killing groups of 10. I think if you use fences then it reduces the number of swings drastically and lets you use your legs which makes the mechanics much more manageable.
Fitness must reduce muscle fatigue. The character I'm running started with 10 Strength and Fitness, and I barely even notice the effect. I occasionally get a brief flash of slight damage and then it disappears within seconds, for stomping, and for swinging I only need to just walk around for a little bit before they also vanish. If you want a combat monster where sustained combat "is" viable from the very start: Thin Skin, Slow Learner, Prone to Illness, Slow Healer, Weak Stomach, Slow Reader Fire Officer, Athletic, Strong, Cat Eyes, Dextrous, Wakeful Slow learner sucks, but it shouldn't get you killed. Pays for things that can save your life. (By the by, the reason they made high thirst only 1 point is because it's honestly worth about that much in terms of inconvenience. You just take 2 water bottles. It'll never kill you. It effectively reduces your carry capacity by the weight of a water bottle. I'll still take it if I actually need the point for something because it's such a non-issue.)
Its stupid that they nerfed high thirst. I didnt even see a low or high weight trait? With that you have to waive several positive traits. Bugs i have found was that what you have shown, i have had a door that was not animated and some lamps were just floating on the night desks but i think this is just a small thing. Somehow i dont have any option to throw zombies out of a window.
@@zxG777weird. My laptop with an i7 1260p igpu runs better than ever. 120fps+ on max settings at 1920x1200 when fighting horde of around 50 at 200% zoom, and around 200ish in a normal house with no zomboids at 100% zoom levels. It’s probably just because of max settings unlike the low settings I ran capped at 60 before, but fan speed got pretty high. If I cap the fps the noise mostly goes away.
They took away “pack mule “ that and strained muscles are killing me daily…🤨🤨🤨oh, and a pig scared the hell out of me 😮i guess vanilla on 41 was just as hard but that little 9 mil takes 3 or 4 shots to kill them with head shots !
I don't play Zomboid, though I plan to buy it during the Steam Christmas sale. According to a video I watched regarding Build 42, you can set the muscle strain multiplier to 0 in the settings to revert it back before it was added, or just decrease it a bit.
Bro i just got build 42 to work and OH BOY the lighting is beautiful its awsome asf i really like it also i played with low zom pop and weak zeds for abit cus i would instantly die is that cheating?
I don't know, I think the concept overall of asking for a point at endgame where you are not 100% safe is kinda silly to me. I don't find the idea dumb keep in mind, just a little silly. That said because of that there will almost never not be a "meta" because you will have *always* have people who will find out the very best way to do X and share it, you will always have people finding you the easiest way to do Y and share it, and last *you will always have a group that will find out just how far you can break the game in ways the Devs couldn't even dream up in their nightmares lol.* These are not good things, these are not bad things, it's just the amazing parts of the community of the game, you judge if you like those parts are not. All of this I remind you is before you even touch the modding community which is hardcore in this game. I can't believe how many people updated their old mods as well as all those who came up with new mods darn near day one, and the people making new mods are just getting started. Then there are those who make all the amazing guilds of which I would be lost myself on SO MANY THINGS. While I am suck waiting on New Years or after (on Mac), I am so sucking down 42 guides like a fledgling vampire who is far too young to have "had enough". I guess my overall point is that you will reach a point like before where when you die nine out of ten it will be because you got WAY to lacks due to running around an armored god with an axe in one hand and a broomstick in the other hand. Given enough time players will conquer the darkness, created the most perfect farm....then automate them (lol), and figure out how to kill the zombie population there size of Texas with maximum muscle strain without breaking a sweat!.........THEN TOTALLY MAKE NEW CHALLENGES I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH!

They just reduced the muscle fatigue by 60% 👀
What!! Really?? Thank god for that
But is balanced? I mean, 6 attacks with a knife isnt the same as 6 attacks with an axe anymore?

I honestly feel like we can’t really have any danger at the end game till npcs are official in the game

The zombie flop when they fall seems to be them swapping as they bump into you... it was present in b41 too
Was it really? In all my time in B41 I never experienced it but in my first 10 mins in 42 it was like every second one flopped😂

I don't know where i am, why I'm here or what I must do. All I know is I see Tweak on PZ, I like.
We need coyote or wolf to threat the farm animals and add dogs to like border collie or livestock animals or guard dog and train them with books to
That would be so damn cool!

I need a guide for blacksmithing. It seems interesting to play around with.
My PC won't even run it. How did they take a game that runs on a toaster and make it impossible to run with a single update?
Yeah, they said it had better performance and yet my pc is trying to take off... in build 41 my pc was basically silent
