Match 2 Opponent had a sick one, but I feel like Cavern hindered more than it helped. Didn't see any other duals from them. I think U/R is much better positioned against Boros and others as the B/W deck has very little play against Sunfall.
The literal only good target for it is Beza, which they probably only have 2 copies of at most, 3 if they're a psychopath. Against everything else monowhite plays, barrage is going to, like, kill one (1) 1/1 token.

You need the card draw, and unless everything goes right with the drake hatcher I feel like it doesn't go as wide as I'd like with balmor
I could see a version of this with Balmor and Faebloom Trick, but it's a considerably different deck at that point.

You do have the risk of not drawing land to hold negate tho
