We’ve done the euro tunnel 4 years in a row and it doesn’t get boring
As usual well worth the wait - very informative and we are very surprised at how much Euro Tunnel have catered for our 4 legged friends and Bentley seems to be loving it. Roll on the next part of the adventure 👍
The Euro tunnel is a blast! Feel like a 12 year old every time we get on board. Btw it's so cool of you Bently, taking your humans to Europe. 😁😉
We took our Campervan on Eurotunnel for the first time last week too. We loved it and thought it was a brilliant service. Love the way they are pretty relaxed about which train you take. Turn up early and you can get the next one (if there is space). I also have to say we thought the English side was much better organised than the French side. Their policy of getting all border and security checks done as soon as you arrive meant unnecessary delays
CaliBob CaliDeb you were lucky , sometimes they can be a pain in the arse, particularly if you have to use the large vehicle carriages. Quite often they have broken carriages and I have been sat there waiting for 3 hours to catch a train!
This route looks so much easier than the ferry. Love the dog facilities too 👍. We’ve never taken our dog overseas but will definitely look into this next time we go to the continent. Looks like Bentley enjoyed the ride 😍

Le Shuttle is great isn't it? We've used it 4 times now, once in the car and three times in the Motorhome each time with dogs. Have a great trip.

Auto rail been doing Scotland - London for many years - driving on off at the rear carriages - but not quite as classy as this I must say - great video - thank you for sharing !
The euro tunnel is fab! We have taken our two boys ( miniature schnauzers) several times over to Croatia and Spain via the euro tunnel- even met Andrew Ditton and Dougal

Great Video you two. Eurotunnel looks very well organized. Lovely dog walk area. But I'm claustrophobic, so a train under the ocean? Never ever. We will take p&o in 4 weeks to Hull and then up to a three week trip to the outer hebrides. So excited. 👍

Good video - well done! We travel on the Eurotunnel regularly, err, but I know you said they were sponsoring you, but you never said if Eurotunnel are paying your fare! Looking forward to your Episode 2, to see if you use the Sanef-tolling electronic pass (so much easier and quicker at the autoroute tolls. Select a lane with a 30 sign!); and Liz mentioned you were going to look for free overnighting somewhere - we presume you mean an 'Aire' - will look forward to see if you mean an autoroute 'Aire', or one in a town! Best wishes.
lets see if they use Sanef tag at the tolls in part 2, it's simple

Good intro the Channel Tunnel. Any info on the toll road set-up and of course, a look at the facilities offered by your chosen camp site would be great.
Can I recommend an app, park4 night, it covers UK and Europe, it gives you good info on locations and photos of most sites. Have a great trip looking forward to more blogs.

The UK and Europe, this split view is really what i thought a common Europe would overcome and finally would settle.
We saw empires in history and that said, I am Austrian and know what I am talking about - we also see times change and we move on in dignity.
Guys, we hate to see you leave this union, as for us - the UK has always been a part of Europe. To me - a very dear part.

I do like Eurotunnel, I store my caravan in France and have a frequent traveller account and it only costs me £46 each way
Hi Great video again, you have helped convince me to buy my first camper. I have a couple questions if you can help. Part of the reason for buying a camper van is so we can take our Labrador away without worrying about finding a dog friendly guest house.
Can I ask where Bentley sleeps at night? How do you deal with disposing of his No2s ? Is he comfortable in such a small space on those rainy days and nights (I suppose you use the awning for him as much as possible).
Any tips on having a dog alone for your adventures?

Be sure to strap your Doors from the inside, so that when your Locks are Bypassed they still can not be physically Opened.
Other TH-cam Van Lifers were recently robbed of $6,000 worth of everything whilst they were asleep in their Van.

I have driven in Canada and lived in the UK and drove a left hand Kombi around for a
Couple of months it was easy, but in Canada as I followed the head car around the corner or intersection I was fine. Reflexes were a little slower as used to driving in Australia
Perhaps I should reach out to Eurotunnel to sponsor a video of me traveling with my wheelchair and two dogs through the tunnel!

another great video but can I ask about the dog. In the video it sounded like you got special permission from Eurotunnel to have the dog in the car with you. Is this the case?
No special permission required they allow everyone to take their dogs (or any pets) in the car with you! 😁
