Take it from someone who has been working in the sneaker community for some years now. UA’s are made by the same companies that are making the real pairs. They are using the same shoe molds to make the fakes that they use to make the real. The only reason they’re called UA’s because they are using the real company’s shoe molds with out their authorization.

Thats why I'm like there is no real way to authenticate a shoe outside of have a order of confirmation email and order number or an in hand receipt.
The reason I say this because *There is no such thing as a perfect retail pair/pairs.* If a retail pair can come right from nike and it looks off something looking funny on it and Authenticator deems it fake because of it. *HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU SEPARATE REAL FROM FAKE?*

Had UA version of these University Blues for 2 months now. It's not 2005 anymore. UA is THE SAME SH$T! No one can tell the difference on foot. Heck, most can't tell the difference if they had both versions in hand. If nike doesn't want my money, guess who does... At the end of the day, I will rock the shoes that I want one way or the other. Respect sir. Regardless of how anyone feels about retail vs UA. At the end of the day, they are just shoes. A lot of people talk about pocket watching, but quick to call someone broke for not wanting to pay resell. You, and others with platforms have a lot of influence. It's dope to see you tell the truth, that's it's some people's preference. That's an important lesson for the younger generation that is more easily influenced by what you and other TH-camrs have to say. At the end if the day, it ain't my business what you wear, how much you spent or where you shop. I do not care about what the next man has or wears. I'm too busy looking at women. Life is too short and I spend more time living my life. It would do good for a lot of other people out here. We not in high school. Mind your business and keep it pushing.

I’ve only bought 1 shoe for resale but at this current time, you either have a bot, paying resale or out here buying UAs. Personally I’ll just take my L and move on, but I can’t hate on someone for doing what they want with they money.
I worked for Timberland in Dom. Rep for my first job at around 16. In that era there was also Nike & Rebook in the same spot putting together "Authentic" and Unauthorized sneakers. Keep in mind, we did the same shit at Timberland. During the day all the "authentic" stuff shipped out the proper way and 3rd shift handled all the shit that went out the back door... So many of you would be butt hurt to know that you all rocking the same shit! Not all places do the same, there are spots that do use different materials and its easy to tag as fake... I am 40 now, Nike & Reebok are no longer on the island but Timberland continues to feed us a bit of both real and unauthorized Tims.
I have been lucky enough to catch at retail everything I have wanted. Would I rock Unauthorized? Hell yes! Truth be told at the end of the day both Sneakers regardless they are "Authentic" or Unauthorized. They all come out the factory at tops a $15 to $20 sneaker. 24 years later it was even cheaper what Nike was paying the factories for a finished product. Importation fees and Nike selling to retailers may bring the kicks up to $35 to $50 depending on the kick and then they throw their suggested retail on them...
At the end of the day shoes are meant to be worn on you’re feet no matter where they come from or brand. Authentic or UA. Just don’t try to pass them off as real and sell them.
Quick tip for UA the factories are actually starting to get crackdown rig now so production been kinda crazy lately with some factories people ❤️

Everyone has their own opinion and it should be respected. I appreciated your perspective on this hot 🔥 UA vs Authentic topic. It all comes down to personal preference. My son loves both.........his ideal scenario is to own an Authentic (if he is lucky enough to get/afford a pair)..........but buy a UA to wear when he is just handing with his friends. The stories he has about himself and friends with rare authentic getting damaged/scared the first time they wore them out is truly epic. He likes knowing he actually has a authentic in his collection, but can wear and not worry when he is wearing his UA to hang with his friends.

I got homeboys who wear UAs and I don't think there is anything wrong. Something I don't like is that since people wear UAs others think they're broke N can't afford the real ones. In reality they can afford the real ones but just use that amount of money to something with my value.

For me reps are more than ok to wear as long as no materials are switched and with good quality. In the end of the day, no one will legit check your shoes when you're wearing them... If I don't hit on retail, I go option B instead of giving my money to scalpers/resellers... ✌

I use to only wear authentics ONLY then I got older and started to realize the difference between UAs and Authentic shoes are nothing literally nothingggggg!! You must find the perfect seller who sells the best batch of UAs then you’ll realize how crazy good these sneakers are nowadays. I have my sellers and they never lets me down.!! Shoutout REPFAM!!!
I'm a watch guy, and can't justify wearing a fake. But some of these sneakers that are going to get dirty and are supposed to be worn, I don't get the big deal with wearing a "ua" shoe.

I sold my UAs, it’s hard to tell if they are authentic or not because they are top quality and I sell them for good prices. I don’t tell them they are UAs because if I do then I wouldn’t be able to sell them. It’s part of the hustle and the grind. trying to make money to get by and survive. I Know it’s not right but I needed the money so as long as I got it, I can care less. 🤷🏾♂️

Compared my Turbo Green Jordan 1's (UA) with the one's my brother got from actual retail and there was not even a single difference to him and to me to find. Used to buy retail and some from resellers here and there but spending money like that for something that absolutely no one cares about except yourself has nothing to do with being broke or being rich, be smart and spend your money wisely. Unless they somehow ban bots or make limited sales per person/company etc.. i'll stick to UA's/fakes/replicas (whatever you wanna call them) from now on. MK got me into this mindset 🙏

when you say preference, you are assuming people who wear U.A's prefer to wear U.As and that sir is not the case... of course people would prefer to wear the retail shoe but some people love a specific shoe so much and because of bots/backdoors and ppl who have connects (i.e trophy rooms) ppl don't have a chance, they're are some ppl who haven't hit on snkers in over a year... you saying to just move on as if people don't move on already, how many times are people suppose to move to the next L?? so instead of taking L after L they go to china and buy U.As so they can wear them, these U.As are getting so good that you can't even tell they difference most times.. so NO people don't prefer to wear U.A's its just that the sneaker game has become a resell business that real sneaker heads who actually wear their kicks are left with no choice...

I like the way you explained this. I agree, wear what you can afford....I don't care if you wear fakes or not...But we absolutely have problems if you try to sell them off as real/authentic.
I wear UA’s and when people ask me if they are real I straight up tell them “no, they are UA’s” and when they ask me why I wear UA’s I tell em “because I want my outfit to look good and I’m not dumb enough to pay 500-1700 for a pair of kicks”.
The way I see it, if you collect sneakers go for it, pay the money for the legit ones and most respect to you buy if you want to just have a drippy outfit and look good go for the UA’s, just don’t be that guy that tells people they are wearing the real deal.
I respect your stance on it bro. My issue with UA sneakers is there are people out there that will attempt to sell them as authentic and have been successful in doing so. We've heard of those stories about people buying from Goat or StockX then get disappointed when they realize they were sold a fake. I've even seen resell shops just glance at a shoe and accept it. Without diligently evaluating the sneaker. There are sneakers I'm willing to spend the extra bread on but don't because I can't trust it's not UA. Like you said if I don't hit at retail it's on to the next one.

The prices are crazy now day's to a point. The main problem is not being able to get a pair. Everyone is either hyping a shoe and or promoting all the releases. If it's wasn't for social media yah probably have more of a chance of getting the pairs you want but can't. Resellers be hitting on the head after paying retail and ya'll wonder why specific shoe prices are the way they are when they release.

I sell unauthorized shoes as real all the time and the ppl that bought them from me couldn’t even tell anyways. If they didn’t check the shoe to see if it’s real or not, then it’s their fault. I don’t care how anybody feels, if I need my money I’mma get it! I’m a hustler, so that’s what I do.
Honestly UAs are the same as the retailed ones. Mk the truth reviews and wears ua an they are the exact same. He recently did two videos and cut them up to see if it’s real materials used or if they have technology in them. They had the same material it better because it’s real leather and and use the same air units in the Jordan 1s. That’s kinda sad if the ua has better material then some retail. Not to mention that some retail has a lot of flaws. I mean look at the Jordan carmine 6s. The after market prices for shoes is crazy and some people don’t even wear them
