For real, before they announced the re release I bought the yeezy bred for 970$ and am pretty sure I got a fake pair. I compared them with my dads which he got straight from adidas and it seemed that my pair was off on some things.

ebay really needs to get recognized for how good their customer service is
they arent always the best 70% of the time ebay goes with the seller and not the buyer so like if a seller sold you something fake and you started a refund process and the seller says its real they are most likely going with the seller

Also StockX tags can be taken off one shoe and put on another, the eBay tag can’t , it also has a nfc reader and shows all the details of your purchase when you scan it. But I’m sure you can still somehow get scammed.

There shouldn’t be bad experiences when they’re guaranteeing that the item is authentic, and charging you for getting it authenticated
its inevitable that there will be some bad experiences people are human and make mistakes after all but the problem is that instead of trying to fix the problems they try to hide it
Bought a simple $100 Travis shirt, said it got delivered but was home the whole time and even have a Ring camera and nothing ever came. Contacted StockX and they said nothing could be done without a police report.... for a $100 shirt. Police report wasn’t even applicable

bruh i don’t even think there’s a live chat. i tried emailing support@stockx about an issue with an order and it sent me an automated reply saying that they don’t do live email support anymore. literally sent me to like an FAQ type page. trash customer service, or nonexistent, rather.

From my experience Ebay sellers are actually nicer and more responsive about their products bc Ebay has a ratings system, so a top seller isnt going to risk their reputation so they comply with the buyer
I’ve become aware of the fact of it’s the sneaker industry. I’ve had an issue where I bought vast grey dunks and after receiving them they were B grades and the stitching of the toe box became undone after not even a full day of wear.

Glad this gets recognition. I bought off white air forces and the stitching was so off it was atrocious. The shoes were also scuffed up but were labeled as dead stock and not used.

I was sold defected Nike Posite 3s with broken straps as "new". Stockx refused to do anything offered me $25 on a $350 pair of shoes. The same shoe still up on stockx no one buying them for this reason and they keep selling them.

My Experience: I bought a pair of Jordan 1 hyper crimsons from stock x. When they came in the white “Nike air” logo you would see on the liner where your heel touches the shoes was half scraped off. Like parts of the logo were balled up and all over the shoe. I was actually confused as to what that was because it was my first pair of Jordan’s. Once I figured out what it was I tried to return them. As their policy states they don’t do returns but rather suggest you resell them to get you money back. So I listed them and tried to sell them on stock x. Found a buyer, and guess what? IT FAILED TO PASS THEIR INSPECTION BECAUSE OF THAT SAME ISSUE WITH THE LOGO. So it passed through the first time but not when I try to sell it? I tried them on one time to see if they fit, they were not worn at all, no other issues. I have since only ordered from GOAT with no issues. Fuck stock x.

I never had an issue with stock X but I did get a broken box once years ago; it was like someone sat on them. And I emailed stockx only get some "coupon". like 20 bucks is going to make it feel better when the shoes are 20x more. That really annoyed me and should be annoying any sneakerhead. I wish they sent me a message saying, "the box is is damage, do you still want it?".
I feel like these issues happen more often in th US. As an EU sneakerhead stockx is the best place to buy stuff. Goat doesn't cover import fees which are very expensive to pay on your own. I've ordered 3 times from stockx and haven't had any issues.

Hey I just bought my first Jordan’s for 164 and the total was about 200 should I be worried? I’m very scared.
I dont know how the pay out to sellers work on StockX, but if people get paid as soon as it goes through their authentication, then I get why full refunds for already processed items might be a problem. I believe they should just hold the money at least until the buyer gets the items in hand and verify the authentication itself. If they r happy, money goes through, otherwise they will only occasionally lose some money through shipping.
This was my thought exactly. Why not hold money in escrow for a set amount of time.
better solution is for the rich company to take a L for their incompetence or for their worker dropping the ball. I don't think they should make sellers wait especially if someone needs the money for their rent in a week or whatever.

But real talk, they blew up so mistakes happen. But their customer service is so bad like ridiculously bad. They have no accountability for when they mess up
2022 update (in Europe):
Seller lvl 5, with 1243 sales right now. Had like 10 issues overall with packages (mostly due to UPS delays), including 1 with system error, where I got my order cancelled due to problems with generating shipping label. Otherwise - the experience is superb.
I've honestly only had good experiences with their customer service, can't talk for everyone of course. I've made over 20 purchases over the last 3 years and had 2 problems and it usually took 2-3 business days to solve it.
I'm currently arguing with stockx right now because they sent me a pair of banned Jordan Ones with ripped stitching. I'm not sure why I got a bad feeling from The Moment I Saw the box is sitting on the front door so I recorded myself throughout the whole unboxing process. And sure enough they offered me a $20 voucher and sent me on my way. Very unprofessional.
One of my friends ordered a pair of J1 from StockX, and it took months to ship. They lost the shoes, and she had to pay extra money, for the time the shoes they spent in the facility they were lost in, even though it wan't her fault! Such a scam!
Honestly speaking, the flaws on retails make it hard to tell. Not even the shapes are consistent at times
I bought a shoe through them before. One of the shoes was a 9.5 and the other was a 11.5. Getting a refund was a gruesome experience even though it was their fault as they didn’t check both shoes and only checked one. They need to hire some better people ngl.
i’ve only ever used stockx once and the order didn’t go through. i bought a bape tee for $100 and i was constantly checking the order status and it just said enroute to stockx for weeks. i got tired of waiting and emailed them to see what was going on and they replied fairly quickly saying that something went wrong with the order, probably seller didn’t ship, but they refunded the amount in a few days. their replies were quick but they weren’t transparent in their answers not telling me what happened with the order and not telling me what was going on with the order while also holding $100 from me.

i got a few pairs from stockx, i think if youre REALLY worried just buy a pair that isn't being hyped/above $250/not super common. all my shoes ive gotten have been $400+ and at that range no one is really making fakes because not as many people are going to buy those shoes for that price.

Have had a similar bad experience with them. Brought a Yeezy 380 reflective ones got a non reflective one and when reported they went away after the first response. The whole process of refunds and returns took a long long time. I was also promised a $20 voucher which never arrived!

I purchased air max 95 neon and one shoe was worn, fabric misaligned, and looked fake. Yet passed inspection so I sold back to them and the rest is history. I’d buy from eBay now
I bought 3 pairs from them and two pairs were fake. I sold only 1 pair through them (AJ1 TS), and they claimed I shipped an empty box. Since then, I have not and never will do business with them again

I’ve bought the mochas few months back. The didn’t pass authentication and I got an email say I’ll get a refund of ZERO dollars. $400 for absolutely nothing. Don’t buy on there unless your willing to burn that money.

No the problem is just when you receive a fake you have the damn right just to send back the shoes and get a refund, which should be guaranteed god damn. How a company like that can make millions per week but cry about one customer who legit wants his 250$ back because he got a fake pair?! This is the only bad thing about them, every person knows the feeling when you are uncomfortable and just want everything back and they act like "no see you in hell" like WTF.

I bought a pair of jordan 1 lows early this year and I had some problems and I must say their customer service was incredible. But that's only on one instance so yeah.
I bought a pair of Air Jordan 1 Off-White Chicago's off of their website back in 2019 for over $4500 just to find out they were beyond fake. The text was off and the swooshes were badly stitched. Sent photos and got absolutely nothing back. Would never buy again.

oh man, i recently bought a sheet of Supreme X MOB griptape from them, THEY FUCKING FOLDED IT UP AND SHIPPED IT, and then when i disputed that it was fucked up, they told me "this is how supreme ships this out" when you cant even get the damn item online, and only in store

Stock X sold me some yeezy cleats that broke in the matter of a week and once i attempted to reach out and return the product for ineffective use, they tell me i only had a 3 day return period.

My personal story with stock X is I had bought Nike dunks and I noticed that they looked off and went to get they legit checked then I had also realized the stitching was off and I showed them to the person who was legit checking them and they were fake.
