I actually have one with a 2017 date code, I was unaware they were hard to get and I’ve been carrying it everyday since. It’s a September date and I’ve had it since it was a month old, got it brand new and I love it. Still very cool to see that they were “hard to get” knives

The slightly curved belly makes this tanto looks appealing, to me anyway. I like tanto with a straight spine, but always feel that it looks harsh that way. That little bit of a curve on the belly makes it look so much better.

I swear that action on the Microtech OTF is almost exactly like my Taiwan Lightning OTF, which by the way has never misfired, still has a sharp as hell blade (type of steel unknown), great paint job and was about $35.00. Just saying....
