As a melee & ultimate jigglypuff main I can confirm and she’s pretty overrated, she got 1 buff that got her (IMO) to the top of low tier. To make her reliably good they really need to make her rest kill earlier
@@MKsomething_ not make rest kill earlier, but rest setups be actually consistent. Also a combo throw would be nice
@@Amaling I fairly consistently hit rest, drill rest shouldn’t be 100% because it’s supposed to be a gamble/comeback-tool? but landing up-air and pound rest are quite consistent (for me) I hit them 19 out of 20 times. If you’ve ever played Melee you might understand why I would like rest to kill earlier. Just look into it.
@Agent Ombraura I like that explanation, people like Hbox (and myself) always try to push puff to her absolute best. There’s a technique for jigglypuff that’s called pivot landing which looks really cool and good but is really situational. Jigglypuff is not one of the worst characters, but she’s certainly still quite bad

Yeah I joined for a while (admitted in 2019) and it was an incomplete mess where the guides were made by no names and were disgustingly elementary. The biggest takeaway is that you already know how to improve by yourself, you just need to decide if you want to work for it
I actually enjoyed their guides, even though you're right, it feels like there's room for more content. But they also don't make it clear that you have to pay for a year in advance. Not only do they not have a monthly plan, they don't make that clear, and I don't recall seeing a total amount of $96 that I authorized. Shady company. Avoid!!!

Puff and Kirby kinda have a similar history. They were top tier in one game, average in another, awful, and now in Ultimate they are pretty good.
Pretty good as in relative to their other appearances? Because as far as I know they’re still both bottom of mid tier at best
@@liamconnor9235 Eh, I think both are mid, especially Kirby (bottom of mid at worst). But "pretty good" in Ultimate means mid tier. My rank scale is bad/ok/good/great/excellent. All Ultimate characters are at least ok.
Kirb is Low/mid tier and Jigglypuff is like bottom 5 in ultimate lol (Still way better than they were in Brawl and 4, plus Ultimate is much more balanced.)

puff is kinda bad but NOOOOOWHERE near how bad they were in brawl and smash 4. Also Kirby is high end of mid tier, y’all tripping. Puff is mid tier as well, but more towards the middle.

I wish they would bring back that green bandanna. I do like the green sleeping cap they replaced it with, but I much preferred the bandanna. I don't play as Jigglypuff much anyway as I'm a Sonic main, but that's what I think when it comes to alts

Do Bowser next! Every game he got better, and they treated him so good in ultimate. I will continue to come back here and annoy pro guides until they do it!
His Smash 4 redesign gave him very good new qualities, and literally every aerial except fair was changed. His air and ground speed buffs were badly needed, and he's very good in ultimate because of all the start and end lag on aerials being cut in half. 3f instead of 8f jump squat, air side b starting up in 6 frames instead of 17, bigger hitboxes on nair, fair, and up tilt, armor on everything, fire turning from useless to absolutely overpowered, down smash actually being useful, and although the distance of up be recovery was nerfed, it got a better hitbox.
Did I miss anything else? Bowser is awesome in ultimate.

She’s a soiled respectable mid tier with the right hands but sympathise with HBOX
the developers decided that instead of buffing/revamping her kit in meaningful ways so to fit the smash ultimate’s mould whilst stying true to her legacy, they instead opted to buff her weak moves to make more rounded
It’s the same story as the new smash ultimate’s heavyweights ranking lower then their veteran counterparts in the tierlists due to this “all rounder design > clear strengths and weaknesses “ design philosophy

Did you know with puff if you do it right in smash 4 you can run up and rest without jumping or anything..... I did it to my friend for a while night after I discovered it, I would just wait till he wiffed a laggy move or until I landed a sing and then I'd casually run up and rest him.... It wasn't ok
