Just outside Harrison’s Cave is a lovely little restaurant called Celestine’s with delicious authentic Bajan food. All the tour drivers go there to eat while the tourists visit the cave highly recommend
The fruit the millipedes were on are avocados (we call them pears). The machineels are usually only on beaches and the trees are highlighted with a red ring. You also don’t need to worry about them unless you eat the fruit or stand under them when its raining. Hope you enjoy my home Barbados! 🇧🇧

Barbados very name was inspired by the bearded fig tree which you saw in Welchman Hall Gully. Portuguese explorers sighted Barbados in 1536 en route to Brazil and referred to the island as Los Barbados or the Bearded Ones or bearded fig trees. The trees were plentiful on the local landscape during the period of Portugal's colonisation, from the 1530s until 1620. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay.

One of my fave Caribbean islands! Knowing you guys love surfing, you must rent boards and head to Silver Sands and/or Friar's Bay for some fun surfing. If you want to watch some extreme surfing, head to Bathsheba. Have fun!
I am from bim. I am not trying to be rude but I wanna point out some things u all missed or incorrectly said. Just doing this for any one coming. 1:46 pebbles is actually the opposite way just after that yellow jetty 11:39 that is a millipeeed not a centipetde, millipedes are harmless. And centipedes have antennas on the front and when they sting they hurt. 11:47 they are not poisons to humans but their sap when wet gives u blisters. The trees are usually marked with red paint so don’t stand under them when it rains. 22:34 I would not recommend to be at that beach past 8 at night it is not the safest most others beaches are fine though. Thx again I am not trying to be rude just informing.🙂🙂🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧
I was in Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos a few weeks ago and the weather was perfect. I’m currently in Cuba and didn’t have any bad weather either. I have been very lucky this year with no signs of hurricane weather. It’s the best time to travel because everything is super cheap. Hope you had an amazing time in the Bahamas.😊😊

The fruit you saw at 10:33 looks like an Avacado, and the insect is a millipede. In Trinidad and Tobago we call them Congaree, when disturbed they curl up. The restaurants you visted at 14:21, did Carol have flying fish?

I was there in 1975, it was my favorite Caribbean Island. Loved it. And it always had the world highest literacy rate.
