Hi Mickey I’m glad that your good man I appreciate that one time u came to bonfire that time with Vic I aswell suffered health condition had sepsis I had surgery as well best way is the way you said it stay positive never let anything bring u down
Brother, I'm going through cancer treatment right now. I know what you went through. Stay strong, and I will not let cancer beat me either. You are an inspiration Mickey thank you for sharing your story with us.❤
I just lost my grandfather to terminal liver cancer 3 weeks ago. It’s been a little hard for me to cope with the fact he isn’t here anymore. But watching you guys puts a smile on my face. Thank you!
Prayers for your recovery Mickey! My father experienced similar cancer/treatment (two times) and it's heartbreaking, but I'm thankful we have treatments in this day and age.
Thank you for raising awareness of how important it is to see a doctor if things don’t seem right. Thrilled to see you are in recovery. You seem like a great guy and there aren’t enough of them around. Wishing you all the best!
Same here Mickey, between October last year and February this year I had cancer removed from the right side of my face and also my thyroid. Tough times but I’ve been given the all clear. Strange thing is that you and I both have half a thumb, lost my left thumb in the millennium. Glad to hear you are pulling through man. Take care of yourself. 🙏🏼🇬🇧
Cancer sucks and is terrifying man. My dad passed away from it late last year and it’s horrible. I’m glad they caught it early and you’re doing good. And cancer free. I’m extremely happy that you’re here. I’m happy for as many people as possible recovering and winning from it. Looking forward to more content from you. ❤
I needed your inspiration. Ive had a bad year too. House fire at beginning of the year. We just go back in. Then wifes jeep needed top end rebuild, also covid hit us. Now one of us needs big dental work. You inspire me to keep pushing forward instead of finding a hole. 11:20
So grateful you’re ok Mickey. You are an inspiration to so many, including myself. I’ve been a full time caregiver for my mom, and my dad had a similar tumor to yours last year in his sinus. I’ve seen the horrors of chemo and I’m so happy there was a surgical intervention.
Hi Mickey So sorry to hear about your finger accident AND about your stage 2 cancer. I’m happy to hear that your surgery, prognosis and subsequent test results are favourable. I’ve lost both my parents to cancers and I know it’s an unpleasant journey. So glad everything has come back positive. The Throtl team and management hats off to all of them for standing by you and giving support. You’re an upstart guy and one I can relate. “The quiet achiever” but mate, did you need to go through both traumas to be noticed ? Keep fighting and stay strong. Like all the guys at the throtl shop, you’re awesome.. Look forward to you returning regularly but only when you’re up to it. Cheers from Thailand
I've been through cancer myself. It's not fun, and hearing those words are TERRIFYING. I'm so glad you got to hear those words "cancer free" also. It truly puts life in a different perspective. It's good to see you back and healthy!
My mom is now cured of breast and lymph node cancer after a year. I know what it's like and how hard it is, I'm standing by you and I believe that everything will be fine, I'm sending a lot of support from the Czech Republic...
Man, I am so happy I stopped to talk with you the two times we have met. You are such a positive guy and very very respectful. I am so honored to have met you and had the two conversations you and I had. You’re an amazing, cool guy
Damn Mickey life seems to have thrown everything it had at you in these months. I have nothing but admiration for you, the sheer ability of being able to look forward and fight is hugely inspirational. People at Throtl are really lucky to have you by their side, and vice versa, I’m sure of it. Yall are not only extremely passionate and knowledgeable about your trade, but deeply care about every single Throtl employee. Cannot wait for your secret project, I’m sure it will be the best build (yet)!
I hope the best for you! My dad Had throat cancer as well 5 years ago. He was cancer free for about 6 months ago. Cancer came back strong to a few places in His body. I’m actually here at the hospital as I’m writing this now. Good luck to you! I hope this thing NEVER come back 🙏
I can only speak for myself, but for as long as I've been watching you guys I feel invested in you all as people, not just personalities. So glad that everything worked out and that you're cancer free. I'm not much younger than you and I've been in a similar position, and know how completely terrifying that feeling was. Thankfully the tumors they found in my sinuses were benign and I'm still here today. I echo what you said at the end. If something doesn't feel right, get it checked! Again, so glad that you've come out of this cancer free, and I'll be praying for your continued recovery.
Damn Mickey, I’m so sorry to hear it brother. Prayers and thoughts are with you bud. I lost my mom to throat cancer almost 5 years ago. Stay strong brother
Cancer sucks, I'm in remission since 2020 after dealing with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I battled near death during it and came out the other end strong. 18 months ago, I had a serious mountain bike accident that put me in hospital for months. I had to relearn how to walk and I lost the ability to use my left arm due to tearing nerves off my brachial plexus and breaking my back in 6 places. Forward 18 months and many surgeries I'm still unable to use my arm very well but I'm still strong. You either fight, or you let the fight beat you. Keep being super strong Mickey!
42 years young and had my gall bladder taken out this year and checking and testing. For I can describe as the worst pain in my stomach and abdominal region I could possible have. Yet still cranking and working on my cars and going to work as much as I can. I totally feel this
Mickey, I’ve been fortunate enough to meet you in person 2x. And you are a big inspiration to me. Not just for cars, but how you interact with people. I’m so happy to hear you’re doing better, and keeping a positive mindset towards everything. I’m excited to see what you’ve been working on, and will continue to be working on. All the best brotha!
Mickey, bro appreciate your candor my brother. I am thankful God is working in your life, sometimes we think man what the heck is going on in my life but, I think challenges refine our characters as individuals. It strengthens us and helps us recognize we are not immortal our purposes are much greater than what we think. Thanks always for you and the team’s positivity. Love you guys, someday I’ll make it to visit from PA. 0:15
I was worried your absence was because of something like this! My husband, in June experienced the same situation with his kidney ☹️ Mick, so glad that it worked out and you are cancer free now 🖤
Holy cow Mickey! So glad to hear you made it through that scare. Looking forward to seeing you back on the youtubes.. -your old friend Seth from the Nicoclub convertible forum.
Truly sorry to hear that brother. Glad to see youre doing better and taking vare of yourself. Thats the absolute main priority is you looking after yourself dude. Youre awesome value and we all need you sround for content. Look after yourself. Thoughts and prayers are being sent your way man. God bless
Crazy I see this today after having these same symptoms the last two weeks. Went to an ENT and felt like the dude was a used car salesman for nose surgeries and tried to get me in for nose work. This is making me reach out for a second opinion! Glad you’re doing well now man!
Doctors usually will push through any cancer related diagnosis and treatment as insurance allows. They had me in for a biopsy so fast I didn't have time to take in the news. Wishing you the best and a healthy life!💯
Super happy that your cancer free man! My father lost the battle to esophageal cancer a little over a year ago so I totally understand how scary that can be. Hope you continue to make a speedy recovery!
Cancer sucks! I'm glad to hear you listended to your body and got checked out. Like you, I was blindsided by cancer in 2017. I had a bad cold and fever that would not go away and tried to tough it out. I ended up in the hospital on rotating antibiotics for 11 days, and during the tests and scans for that the doctors found a big tumor in my abdomen. Surgery and chemo took care of it and I'm cancer free now. Which is cool because I get to watch all of the great Throtl stuff you folks put out. Glad you're ok!
Congratulations on your recovery brother. As a long time viewer I new better then what the comments were saying and knew something would come out about it eventually. But all in all just happy, safe and healthy man.
Shocked to hear your news. I'm glad things hv gone well in both situations you've been through. Scary stuff. I lost my dad to Fing cancer.. he only got a yr out of fighting it down to the last second he took his last breath in my arms. I'm glad you were much more fortunate. Keep on your health and keep that garbage from coming back, as best you can. Remember, it's not just what cancer does to you, it's also how it affects those you love. So love yourself more so you can cherish that love from others. And don't be afraid to accept the love around you when you are not at your best. It could literally save your life. Best of luck to you and the future. We will be right here with you. ❤
Mickey glad to hear you’re doing better! That’s some very scary stuff to deal with in a short window of time. Thank you for sharing your story. As you said, I hope this video can help at least one person from your shared experience. Also let’s give Rickie a massive shoutout for acting in a fast and effective manor! That’s the kind of person you want around in those situations!
Hey mate, I was in a very similar boat around treatment - I had testicular cancer that they decided to focus on solely with surgery. I feel really lucky I didn’t have to get chemo and become weak/sick from that. Can totally feel you about a total change of perspective on life too. Pleased you are doing well bro.
When I had to go through Chemo last summer for my second dance with cancer, your videos got me through the long weeks of hospitalization. I'm glad to hear you are ok and prayers to a long future ahead!
Glad to hear your doing better takes alot of courage to come out public with your personal life and health may God bless you 🙏🏼 and your family heal first and can't wait to see you back full time 😊 and feeling 1000%
So glad everything is ok with you. Was definitely worried about what was going on but seeing u in the background of some of the videos was good to see.
