I’ve been reviewing a number of videos on the Venu 2, 2S and 2 plus along with the Fitbit 3 & 4. Without hesitation of the 2 dozen or so TH-cam authors, your videos are by far the best. You’re straight forward, cover pertinent info, speak clearly at a good pace, use good graphics to make you points. Thank you so much Wayne, that's very encouraging! Update: a couple months ago, they removed the PhysioTrueUp from the watch itself and now it is on by default, but I realized that you can still turn it off on the Connect app itself! You can find it in the settings.
Just picked up this watch today after watching your previous video. You covered the sleep tracking problems and hydration app issues on the previous video, although this was a bit more in depth. I'm liking it so far, I think this will last me a while. Thanks for the realistic reviews

I just ordered one. Coming from a previous Garmin watch, I already knew that silicone band wasn't going to work for me. I ordered a replacement canvas band at the same time I ordered the watch.
I'm mad noone brings up the fact that the voice assistant RARELY works on android the first time you access it and then it loses connection for 30 seconds before it works again. It's all over forums. It's unacceptable for a watch this expensive
How accurate are the indoor walking & Run activities? . The watch manual states it’s self calibrating for these activities and there doesn’t seem to be any manual adjustments.
I must haev an updaded version. Mine tracks sleep quite well, even if I wake up for an hour and go back to sleep. I do agree that the strap isn't good. I am getting a rash on my arm from it. Maybe some allergy to the material. Battery life is about 7 days doing all the normal functions + voice assistant and notifications. I also do at least 1 GPS track per day. If I do a lot of GPS it sucks the battery down quick tho.
Good afternoon. I recently bought a Garmin Venu 2 Plus model. I love it and it has everything I need. There is one problem, can you tell me what the essence is. It's about paying with Garmin Pay. I watched earlier reviews in which bloggers claimed that after the watch is put on the hand and the code is entered before payment, then in subsequent times if the watch was not removed, the code does not need to be entered. After entering the code, I still have the opportunity to pay without entering the code for 10 minutes, and then the watch asks for the code again. I deleted and relinked the card but it did not help. I tightened the belt tightly so that the watch always touched the hand, but it did not help. Is it a marriage or raw firmware? It seems that the sensor periodically does not see the watch on the hand? What do you think about this? I really hope you can give me some advice. Reply

must your watch be paired with your ph via Bluetooth/wifi to make/receive calls? Can one link it to you phone via Mobile data and then leave your phone at home go for a run and still be able to make/receive calls?
I just got my garmin venu 2 plus and on the first outdoor run, the distance stopped tracking at 6km with the paces all over the place. On the treadmill, the distance and pace stayed on 0. Please help
Hey Ryan! Great review, I'm trying to decide weather i should go for the Garmin Fenix 6 PRO or the Venu 2 plus. Do you have any recommendation?? - Coming from Apple watch, will the (no touch screen) be a deal breaker, og can u get used to only use bottoms? :) any suggestions on the two watches? :)
Thank you! This is how I would feel I were in your shoes: the first few days using F6P I'd feel like I'm wearing a digital watch for two reasons. First, the lack of an AMOLED display (it's got MIP), second like you said because of no touch screen functionality. On the other hand the Fenix has more fitness tracking features than the Venu 2 Plus. Bottom line is both are great watches, but you should ask yourself why you would want to buy one over the other. If you work out a lot, especially if you run a lot outdoors and want to do open water swimming just go for Fenix and don't look back, otherwise V2P is more than enough for most people who want to have a healthy lifestyle and as a plus you can make and receive phone calls. (but since you have an iPhone you can't reply to messages). Hope this helps!
@@RyansTechMedia Thanks alot for the respond! - I am doing ALOT of crossfit, running, rowing etc. in general a really active lifestyle. Hi David! I'd still go for the Venu 2 Plus, but that's only because this watch suits my active lifestyle better not because the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is bad. BTW I have a comparison video of the Venu 2 Plus and Galaxy Watch 5 (base model) and also a recent Venue 2 Plus Review after 1 year that might be helpful. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the best review on this Garmin. I’m looking for a watch that has a good sleep tracker which includes napping. I did like the battery life on this.
Hi friend. Do still have this watch ? I'm in doubt to which watch to buy, between Forerunner 955 Solar or the Venu 2 Plus. I have a apple watch 4 that fit me well. Now I want to move to garmim. I like running, and I'm not a professional runner. I lie using my watch for daily duties, not much, basically see notifications, answer throught it some. Nothing important. Do you think that it worth the low price difference between F955 Solar and give up all Venu 2 PLus facilities, giving more importance to the metrics F955 bring to us, and not forgetting the lower resolution screen, or should I go and buy VEnu 2 plus ?
Howdy! Yes I still have it. I think if you like running a lot then the additional metrics on the Forrrunner come handy. Especially if you live in a place with a lot of sunshine, then the solar version is worth it otherwise the V2P is a great choice for people who are semi active.
Thanks for this video. I was getting a solid 8 days out of the battery initially (for 2 months). Then, this week it drained quick. I charged it yesterday morning and it's already down to 40% (zero GPS tracking during that time). I noticed Physio TrueUp was on and I followed your steps. Hopefully that takes care of it. I did notice another thing last night too. I tried to answer a call on the watch. The call answered on the cell phone, but not on speaker on the watch itself. Any idea what's going on there?
Thanks for watching! Yes, I hope that solves the problem. But based on what you said about the call, I'm guessing there is also some connectivity issue and pairing it again could help. If that's the case you probably had exactly my problem with the physioTrueup and connectivity. And also check that the spo2 monitoring is not on 24 hours. BTW have you recently updated the watch? I'd be really interested to know if this solved your problem, so please let me know!
@@RyansTechMedia Thanks. I will be sure to let you know if it works. I did pair it again, like you said, and tested the call again. Same thing happened. Maybe I'll try once more.

Hi Shule! I'm sorry to hear you have trouble with the watch. Let's see what we can do. Can you double check in the Bluetooth settings of your phone that the watch is not listed? If it is, completely remove it (forget it), then press the top right button of the watch for a couple seconds and turn off the watch, then turn it on again and then restart your phone and once the phone is on, once again check that the watch is not paired in the Bluetooth section. Then go to the Garmin Connect and then try to connect from there. If it doesn't find the watch try a few times. I'm fairly confident one of those attempts will work. Let me know how it goes!
