Ever since I switched to Garmin watches, I'm not going back to the cute lifestyle watches. Battery life is phenomenal, health tracking is consistent, and build quality is solid.
Is there any major difference between this Watch and venu sq music ? Beside the workout animation and display plus the calling feature , any other differences? Should I upgrade? And which color look better ?
This is one of the best Garmin watches i've ever used. The only downside for me is the size of the watch, it could be larger. My other complaint is the plastic body clasps. Using different watch bands in different colours do not suit well due to the plastic grey clasps. Other tha that it's great, i'm getting 10-12 days battery life in a single charge with 3-4 workouts per weeek.
One of the best watches for sure. The black edition probably would be better for changing bands but the grey limits the color choices. 10 days is impressive!
Fully agree in the plastic claps. I just bought the Venu 2 Plus but also have the Vivomove Luxe. Wish the Venu looked the same as the Luxe. If Garmin work on the design Looking more like an old fashion watch for sure they will get more customers.

I was thinking of getting the Venu 2S because of the smaller size but the 2 plus also has the hardware to do ECG and it has been recently approved for the 2 plus to have the app to do ECGs and I like that it isn't as big as the Venu 2. Too many watches look like the person has a dinner plate on their wrist.

Just connect your BT headset to your phone.why complicate things with BT from phone to watch then watch to BT headset when you already have your phone with you

Even though the sensor is the same, the heart rate accuracy on the venu 2 is better than the venu 2 plus. Garmin needs to address this, and if a software issue, fix it
No. The venu2 plus probably just needed a firmware sensor upgrade since I last posted. I'd also suggest checking out the quantified scientist on youtube. If heart rate is important to you there are lots of options.
@@brucelin5842 I have tested the Garmin Enduro2 and the Apple Watch Ultra ($1,000+ smart watches) for example. Neither of these watches are as accurate as an inexpensive finger pulse oximeter - and even that finger pulse oximeter is not as accurate as a consumer heart rate strap. The issue is what I call runaway - the pulse will go below or above the actual pulse rate for a period of time - sometimes seconds, sometimes a minute or so. The error mostly does not effect the overall accuracy of the average heart rate and average heart rate variability for these watches. They indeed closely match after a training session. The better the watch sensor and the environment (skin colour, perfusion etcetera.) the better the granularity of the data - but at the end of the day 100% accuracy is mostly not needed nor available with current technology.
The weather report rarely stays connected or updated. It is either blank or gives weather data from several hours ago, so weather is worthless. This "smart" watch also has NO maps. Imagine a smart watch with no maps. Bizarre!
If you're asking if it has cellular built-in,it doesn't. If you're asking can you call using your Bluetooth connection via your phone to an esim..of course.
