In my humble opinion Ghostbusters 2 is just as good as the first one. I know a lot of people feel it's inferior but I don't. They're a perfect set of movies. If only we got a third! Damn! But they're still good. Have yet to see Afterlife. Never going to see the 2016 one lol
@@bern1223 Yes I've started playing the game! It is fun but I started it on the hardest difficulty and it's so hard haha, I should play on easy to just enjoy the story but I'll have to start back from the beginning
I highly recommend purchasing the documentary called 'cleaning up the town'. It is 2 hours devoted to just the making of and the development of the first Ghostbusters movie
This film is beyond legendary, great cast, amazing SFX, it literally blew my mind as a kid! Also looking forward to see RIck Moranis back on the big screen, such a great comedic talent!!
I recently studied this movie . They did some good design work on this movie. For instance, in the beginning library scene, the color of the book covers the librarian picks up/has on her cart match the colors of the clothes worn by the civilians (one book that she handles downstairs in the basement matches the maroon color of her sweater) that walk past her and behind her. This foreshadows the scene in the library's basement only moments later, when the librarian restocks books on the shelves as unbeknowst to her books mysteriously float from shelf-to-shelf seemingly on their own. In effect, the clothes worn by the characters you can physically see foreshadow the book covers carried by the ghosts, characters which you can't see. It's almost as if the characters alive upstairs float by the librarian in as ghastly a manner as the books downstairs.
Moranis is one of those guys I consider a "movie star". Those days are over though. As in.... Now that I'm older it's hard to look at actors the same way. They are just random ppl in, "That movie I saw." Hard to explain. I miss all these guys too. Especially Rick Moranis. When he got punched recently that shit pissed me off.
