- Taking out the Sea-Doo Switch out for the first time in the Pacific Ocean. Breaking in the new Switch.
This Sea-Doo Switch is 21 feet in length and has the same engine as a Sea-Doo JetSki.

@Seadoo
Ive had mine for a month now and i love mine. Got mine to nearly 50 the other day. Handles the chop great, smooth at slower speeds and we got the boat off the water a few times at higher speed. Basically a family sized PWC.
Very nice! So where are you chiming in from? What state are you in?
Thanks for supporting the channel!
@@TheOceansideGuy I'm up in North East Georgia.
@@TheOceansideGuy just got back from a day on the lake. Had a lot of fun.
@@jkosh2046very cool!
Wow looks great for freshwater fishing
Yup. Salt water too
What brand / model is your shade?
It came with the switch
Cool machine and I would have loved to see a bit more detailed workaround of the different features on it. Keep up the work.
@@patriklundgren1029 100% agreed! As this was our first time on their Sea-Doo switch. I didn’t want to overwhelm my stay but got a chance to go over just a couple of features.
We will be welcomed back on the Sea-Doo Switch again. I’m sure I’ll be able to go over more features in detail.
Thank you for your comment and thank you for supporting the channel!
Ya sold us. Good video. Needs a tandem axel trailer is all.
Cool. It comes with a trailer.
i like it, kinda pricey to me for a pontoon ski....but then again i dont own any water crafts as of yet. just bought new truck and looking into these things. great video much luv
So much fun on the Sea-Doo pontoon. Thank you for supporting my channel.
Tool box-check, Life jackets-check, paid in full life insurance-check, flare kit-check.
Now you’re ready for a cruise in a milk jug😂😅😂😅
Cool. Thank you for the tips.
They are neat boats, and I love the price. Although they do have some downsides as well. I'm still on the fence with them.
Yes. Price point is good. Tell me your downsides. Im thinking about getting one.
@@TheOceansideGuy not to be overly negative, but since you asked. I think they look and feel cheap with way too much plastic and flimsy and short fencing. Also the accessories can be expensive. Finally, I love that it comes with a trailer, but I'm pretty sure it is a painted steel trailer. I'd rather have an aluminum one.
@@WeekendersontheWater I like your feedback. Some people give me feedback and are so rude. Thats why I asked you because I know you would be honest and still have a good attitude. So, thank you. And yes, accessories are VERY expensive. Well, its SeaDoo.
@@WeekendersontheWateryou have an option to get galvanized
You can actually camp on these things as well there’s a camp kit that seadoo makes that covers the whole boat! It would be great to camp out in Avalon!
Nice video dude does thet 13 ft comes with the same swimplatform as in the video und the 230hp motor??
The 13' is only offered in the 170hp and no swim platform. However you can add the swim platform.
@@TheOceansideGuy I think that I will do that, to at the full-size swimplatform.
Can I use this at Bodega Bay on the Sonoma Coast?? 🎣
Out in the ocean is fine. IM not familiar with the Sanoma area.
We saw one of those capsized on my lake on Sunday.. The driver was surprised by a wave pitched over to the port side and just continued to roll over. The scary part is the lake was really calm on Sunday. So I’d hate to see what it would actually do in the rough.
Oh wow! That’s very scary. It’s not like you can flip it over like a JetSki.
I’m wondering if the switch that you saw was the compact sport. I think those things are only 12 feet long so I could see that they could capitalize easily.
@@TheOceansideGuy It wasn’t the 21. It looked to be about 18 feet.
They towed it in and used a marina sling crane to first roll it over then hoist it out of the river.
The tried to right it out in the lake but there was just no way.
@@Twin-Kyle oh wow. Total loss
@@TheOceansideGuyDon’t think so. Said they already got the engine running. The Bimini cover was destroyed tho.
@@Twin-Kyleya I could see that
Love that craft. My wife has been complaining. Our boats CHawk 222 pilot house , and Key West 17ft CC are both fushing boats. Not any good for the beach or tubing with the grandkids. Maybe it's time to trade in the Key West 17 ft
I really enjoyed it. Great pontoon
The funeral cruise. Looks like a fun boat
It was a blast!
yea... launch mine by myself. Love it. My girlfriend rides PWCs so she can drive it without issues as well. 18" Sport 230hp
Very Cool! Thanks for sharing! What state are you in?
@@TheOceansideGuy 2 places actually... have a house in Encinitas and one in Yuma. Yuma has all my river/desert toys...😂
@@samcarnibucci9094 Very nice! Hope to see on the water soon.
Definately getting the new Fishing Model, seems a lot cooler and better features
Yes, the Seadoo switch fish was amazing to see up close and personal.
Learned something at the invasive species inspection about these. The way they are built they likely cannot pass inspection if they come from a known body if water with banned invasive species.
The panel joints pose a serious threat for harboring invasive species and cannot be effectively inspected or treated.
Please explain. Not sure what you’re talking about.
@TheOceansideGuy He's most likely talking about the invasive species we have in states such as TX for one. They take over lakes and it's illegal to go from one lake to another without an inspection and cleaning. The snails etc will hide in the joints of the boat due to its design. These critters destroy lakes so law enforcement is allover us about this. I know I didn't explain it well so maybe look it up it's interesting what we deal with here in TX.
So what does that mean if it doesn’t pass inspection? You just can’t use it on any lake that requires an inspection?
There’s a seadoo switch limited they just came out with it’s a little more upscale from the other models
Yes. 21 footer Sea-Doo switch limited. Many more upgrades. I believe the whole design and the overall triune design is all the same.
Best quality in a boat is reliability and these have that.
Nice. Thanks for the feedback. I could definitely see the quality. Seriously thinking about getting one.
Hey Deric, you're not going to (Switch) on us. no pun intended LOL.
😂
Yes,
It will be great to have these Gentlemen come to Catalina, with the PWC group next summer.
Great video !!!
@@giljunior7494 Ya. We will have to test out the Switch first on some medium to rough ocean water first before we cross to Catalina. We might launch it from Davies Ramp in Long Beach and head to Two Harbors. Only 30 miles. The owners realy want to get the Switch out in the water and go to Catalina. We'll see.
Can we get a video of you trying the rxpx 325 lol
Sure. If somone wants to let me borrow their 325 or even RXT X 300
Interesting to see one, I thought they are meant to be flat water lake craft? The constant repeating of the products name was tiresome😥. Add how many times it was said?
They can go on the ocean as well too. I was just super excited repeating a lot.
I’d like to take one of these over to Catalina island
That is the goal. Just wanna make sure we have the right weather conditions.
I would like to take it to Bimini it’s a big sea doo jet boat lol
That would be a great ride!
@@TheOceansideGuy I live in fl on the west coast in Sarasota fl
Drink everytime he says " switch it up"
I gotta say, I was excited to switch it up.
@TheOceansideGuy ok I'm drunk
F that.
I'll take my mint 2008 Seadoo Challenger 230
12 seater
315 hp no supercharger
Best boat ever!
Nice
Can't afford that or the truck to pull it. Plan on winning the lotto some day though. 😂
Plan to WIN!
The trailer was too deep for recovery. Less deep would let the bunks center the switch on the trailer
That makes sense. The bunks act as train tracks.
Ya back it in until water level is at the Sea Doo sticker on the trailer tongue.
I bought a 18 230 Sport and have only put a boat on a trailer once before this one. I’ve only loaded the Switch 3 times but found it very easy to do. The Switch is so maneuverable. Great video. Mine isn’t broken in yet and is in storage for the winter but I can’t wait for warmer weather here in NC.
very easy to do by one person just got to get used to
Nice! Just like anything else, practice, practice, practice. Right?
KOOL
Thx
Easiest boat you will ever drive...
Yes it was and is!
You guys really were that inconsiderate and got on that pontoon without removing your shoes after stepping in all that sh*t that was on the dock?
Im not sure what you are trying to point out. We all got on the Switch the same way. Even the owners did. From the gravel to the docks and on the Switch.
You do realize that not everyone cares about shoes on a pontoon boat or boats for that matter. I know it’s a weird concept to think that people have different views than you.
@shakapiphawaii it's just ignorant is all I'm saying to wear your dirty shoes on someone else's boat. It's similar to someone wearing their shoes into your bedroom at home that has carpet or a family or living room that has carpet.
@@bravocompany1072 it’s not ignorant if the owner allows it. Making comments about situations you don’t understand makes you ignorant. You can’t always assume everyone does things your way.
@shakapiphawaii it is common courtesy when on someone else's craft. You shouldn't have to even ask if they want you to remove your shoes. Just do it and you will be invited out next time.
Save your money that are absolute garbage
Thanks
This remark coming from someone who can not even type a coherent sentence. You are however entitled to your opinion though.
Yes, that’s why they’re hard to find and have a tremendous backlog of orders… because they’re “garbage”.
🙄🙄🙄🙄
@jeffallen5871 lol..Tremendous backlog of orders?.. Wrong !!!

Order one now, you’re lucky to get it before September.
