I just love this palette! It’s got such beautiful shades and the quality is so nice. The Flight Club is a beauty, too. I wanted to get that one but figured I needed to slow my role and just have the Gothic. But I could roll around in purple palettes all day. Lol!💜💜💜
Hi Erica, my friend in high school LOVED this band. She loved punk, and I learned about those bands through her. I loved all the hair bands, and heavy metal. 😃
Hey Dawn! Your friend and I would have gotten along great. I also loved the hair bands, too. I have a strange mix of music that I just love. A little of everything, really. 🎶🎶🎶
MONA!! Hey beautiful!! Thank you so much for watching. I was also a hair band fan. Absolutely!! But DM was a band that really got me right in my makeup loving heart. Just love their music!🎹🎤🎶🖤😘
Love the look you created Erica... And your way to tell your stories and facts. My "newest" favorite is Enjoy the Silence. But think the first ones was People are People and Master and Servant. Thanks for a great video... Stay safe gorgeous 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
Hello my beautiful friend!! I’m so glad you enjoyed this video. Yay!!!! Enjoy the Silence is a very precious song to me. And I love the other 2 songs you mentioned. Such a great band!!!!! Hope you’re doing very well and taking good care of yourself. Lots of love!🖤🖤🖤🎶🎶🎶
I forgot how much I loved Depeche Mode until I watched this video. I love that you listed some of your favorite songs, there are several I haven’t heard before…but I’m going to now! Just listened to In Your Room and now it’s one of my favorites!! Also, that lipgloss is stunning!!! 😮
Yessssss!! So happy you listened to In Your Room! I’m mildly obsessed with that song. Used to listen to it on repeat all the time when the album first came out. So good!! Thank you soooo much for watching. Always a treat to hear from you. Happy weekend, love!🎶🎤🖤❤️
I finally saw them in 2009. I took my oldest daughter with me. It was epic. It changed my life. I had spent years married and not going to concerts. I loved them before I got married. The concert made me remember what I'd been missing. Plus, it was just amazing. That was after they released the song wrong which was my anthem at that time.
Their concert changed my life, too. I’ve never been to another concert that has affected me the way DM did. Just incredible! I was on a high after that concert for a long time. I love that you had the same experience! I wish everyone could have the type of experience with music!!
@EricaConger I've had multiple experiences like that. My first U2 concert was like a spiritual experience. The second was as well. I've seen them 3 times. When I saw the psychedelic furs I was ecstatic. I said I can die happy now. Lol. It was euphoric. Music is so important to me.
What a fun video! I have learned so much about you and about Depeche Mode. I am so sorry about the loss of your friends at such a young age. I started getting super emotional when you spoke of that. I can't imagine the pain that must have caused. But I'm glad that the music helped you to process it all.
Thank you so much for you care and support. It was a really tough loss. Things just shouldn’t ever happen like that. It’s so opposite of the circle of life, you know what I mean? I won’t ever forget what an amazing impact they made on my life. I appreciate you so much!😘😘
OMG! I love Depeche Mode!! I was introduced to them by a guy i dated my Sophomore year highschool. He went to a different school than I. It was totally not cool to listen to Depeche Mode in my school. Only the "weird kids" listened to alternate music. So around my friends, I never listened to them. But I bought all of their tapes and would listen on my boombox in my room 😂 So i was a "closet fan" 😂 Blasphemous Rumors was the first song that I heard from them. It was on the tape deck of my boyfriend's 89 Monte Carlo 😁😁😁
That’s the COOLEST!!!! I remember only a couple of my close friends being into DM. It was mostly my older friends that loved them. I can remember sitting in my friend’s car in the parking lot during lunch and cranking DM songs. Lol! Your boyfriend was a stud!!!! And so was his car! Thanks for sharing your memories. I love it!!!🥰🥰🥰

I would say I am a casual fan of DM, but they have such a catalog of songs. My sister was a big fan and saw them in concert in the 80s. But Violator is a great album, lots of hit songs from that one. I would say World in my Eyes is my favorite song from them, but also like Policy of Truth, Personal Jesus, Enjoy the Silence is a very nice song too. Strangelove is another good one too. Great video, I need to go back and watch the others from the series. I hope you keep this going, it's a really good concept that is setting you apart from other channels.
I’m thrilled that you like this series!!!! Woo hoo!! Music is a pretty personal thing so I wasn’t sure if people would be interested in the artists I’m choosing to discuss. So it’s great feedback to know that you like this. Violator is such an amazing album. I can listen to the entire thing over and over again. And used to do that often. It was a CD I commonly listened to on roadtrips. Such good songs and lyrics!! I would love to see them in concert again. Not many big acts come to the city I live in. Portland gets all the big ones. But I’ll keep an eye out. That would be the coolest to see them again! Hope you have a wonderful Monday, my friend!🥰🥰
I am not very familiar with Depeche Mode but I did enjoy listening you speak of them! I love music but I have never been to a concert, sadly the band I wanted to see broke up before I could ever see them! I am familiar with the song Personal Jesus though! Beautiful makeup look!!💜🖤🤩🤩✨✨
