As someone who just recently started to film and release videos on my channel, I didn't realize exactly how time consuming filming and editing a video can be, let alone trying to come up with ideas about what to film. And learning editing skills and software. And until you do it and try to grow your channel you really have no idea what all is involved. And then you have the overwhelming sense of self-doubt and being self-conscious not only about is anyone going to like my videos but filming yourself, figuring out how to start and end a video. And everything else. And I was probably 1 of those people who might have said why have a channel at some point before but not now. I really appreciate every single suggestion and pointing me in the right direction you've given me. ❤❤❤❤❤ ps I absolutely love your videos and content

I watched the interview with the lead FBI investigator who wrote a book. Something sounded fishy when I was listening to that. Lots of back-peddling, playing the victim (if only we had a warrant after he gave us full permission go search the property), flimsy excuses and not a single word about the private investigator who brought them the case (but but we had so many leads from all the anonymous tip line). I don't know if the first girl's life could have been saved, but the second one died because of LE incompetence.

OMG. I clicked on this so HARD!!!!!! I just got mine in the post and I can't wait to play! I can't get over how much bang Mad Witch Cosmetics (aka Steph) packed into this tiny palette. I have bigger blush palettes (PLouise) with too many similar shades that I ultimately can't really use as a drag queen. But the range of tones in this palette is so impressive! As a drag queen, I always use multiple shades of blush to create depth and dimension and this palette has a fabulous range! When I apply a deeper shade of blush I start at the ear and swirl it forward otherwise I end up with a face like a slapped arse. LOL Thank you for doing this swatching this way. I think you really showed the potential and variety in this palette. xox

Wow! This was a horrible case. Thanks for sharing. I've never heard of this. I've got a couple from my hometown. One being a murder at the Hostess house in the 70s and the other being one (if not the last) public lynching in the 1920s or 30s. I can't remember.

Thank you, my dear sister, for all of the time you spent sifting through the many details of this case so as to share it with us.❤What a terrible tragedy with these girls’ lives having been taken from them in such a brutal manner & at such a young age, not to mention the other victims who suffered terribly at the hands of this beyond-disturbed man. And yes, he certainly did manipulate those other men into participating, but I’m also mind-boggled at the callousness of John’s mother, Wanda. She should have been locked up under the jail. Only 25 years, was it? Sheesh! 😡 I can’t imagine the pain experienced by the families who lost their beautiful, precious daughters. 😢💔 It probably sounds foreign to folks these days, but I too can remember a time when it felt safe to walk in my neighborhood as a kid just as these girls had done. It’s so strange now to think of the changes that came in just a few short years in Memphis where we lived-happening mostly between the 80’s & 90’s-to where one started to become more aware of the absolute evil that could exist in other individuals. One began hearing of more cases similar to this one, but also an awareness came from witnessing the changes happening around you from day to day. I remember as a pre-teen/early teen that I could sense when the tide started to shift in that it was no longer safe to walk alone in my neighborhood. We had started coming across bloody hypodermic needles that had been dumped along the curb by drug users as well as the remnants of unidentified pills, & this was quite scary to all of us neighborhood kids, as we had heard enough horror stories of how illicit drugs affected people. We knew decline had hit our neighborhood swift & hard once police were being called on a regular basis to what had become a house of drugs & prostitution across the street from us (the people never used the front door, but entered the house through the windows from the front porch, so ‘ nuff said 🙄), paramedics being called to treat people who were unconscious from having been thrown into/through walls, eruptions of screaming & fighting at 2 AM in the middle of the street between immature girls & their boyfriends, etc. (Once gunshots started ringing out in the middle of a Sunday afternoon a few years later, my parents knew they had to get us out of there somehow.) But in the midst of all that chaos, the most heartbreaking thing I witnessed was the neglect (& possibly abuse) of a young girl who also lived in that house. Even being a child myself, I recognized that she was malnourished, wearing dirty clothes, & seemed to have nobody giving her proper attention, but I don’t think I really comprehended or could process fully what I was seeing through the eyes of a child. I just knew that I felt terribly sorry for her the few brief times I saw her, yet I felt all I could do was try to show her whatever kindness I could if I had the chance. I have often wondered as an adult what became of her. I don’t think she ever shared her name, but I vividly remember her standing out next to the fire hydrant at the end of our driveway, smoking a cigarette, although she was wayyy too young to be smoking (she was probably around 10, if even that?). As you stated, Erica, I can’t help but ask myself why there was nobody to intervene to protect her from that environment of neglect (& possibly abuse as well), especially considering the number of times law enforcement and/or emergency services were called to that address. Sadly, my first thought as an adult is that she may have ended up being introduced into prostitution (or much worse) like the adults who were living in that house, & who knows if they might have been forcing her into that life even then,unbeknownst to anyone. And while most serial killers are men, it doesn’t change the reality that when nothing is done to stop chronic neglect & abuse, people’s lives are permanently affected longterm, at the very least, & sometimes create the kinds of deviants we read about in such cases as this one. I definitely share your heart in the desire that there would be more of a “proactive”approach taken in our society. Perhaps then we would have far less victims generationally across the board.😔🙏💙💙💙
