In the US we could really use this sort of experience for misfits and felons before they really do something stupid and end up in jail for life. But Jail is too much of a country club anyway.
Technically its illegal to use any kind of violence on the DS/DI's part or by any other superiors..this holds true within most western armies as of today I believe...how much this is taken into consideration ..is another matter. The scenario wich you are painting may fall under the self defense paragraph..while pushing alone wouldnt warrant any violence of any significant sort..this would be a grey zone.
tell me about it, I'm friends with an inmate here and he even has a fuckin playstation 3 and a decent TV in his cell! fuck paying for a hotel ill just smash something up and live in a cell for a few nights :P its free!

He watched this programme when it was on but he said the same thing. They have lowered the tone for TV that much is certain. God help those toe rags If they lived in the 1950's. They would have no choice other than to have to do two years national service. Some countries like Turkey still do. These kids are a disgrace and they think they are cool!
